Services
Dr. Fletcher has been on the front lines since 1995 when he developed the first national DOT medical certification training program for physicians at the American Occupational Health Conference (AOHC) in Las Vegas, Nevada and in advocating for the development of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FCMSA) National Registry Certified Medical Examiner (NRCME) system to certify medical examiners, which became operational in 2014.
A DOT Examination is utilized to evaluate whether a driver is healthy enough to operate a commercial motor vehicle. Drivers are required to obtain a Department of Transportation physical by a Certified Medical Examiner who is a member of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry (NCRME).
SafeWorks Illinois can manage your company's random/consortium program. This program is confidential and will provide you the necessary information for auditing purposes. We offer employers assistance in managing all or part of their drug and alcohol testing program's compliance for both DOT and Non-DOT.
Preventing workplace injuries is a key to success for any company. Employers often use pre-employment testing to screen job applicants. Those who use post-job offer employment testing can achieve an average 47% fewer workers' comp injuries and three times higher retention (1) than those who don't. The purpose of the pre-employment physical is to determine if a prospective candidate can safely perform the physical demands and essential functions of the job.Our pre-employment physical is an evaluation customized to the actual activities of the job for which an employee is being considered.

My husband hurt at work and was sent there in the afternoon and was treated unhumanly because it was near closing time. They didn't cleaned the wound, didn't covered it, and rushed him to leave. I don't know if it was because of time or because he is Hispanic, but that is not the way to treat a patient that got hurt after 10 hours of work. Horrible experience.

Dr. Fletcher and his staff at Safeworks has provided me with excellent service. The staff was friendly and Dr. Fletcher was 100% knowledgeable and thorough with my entire situation. I had a complicated case but his expertise, comprehensive examination and follow up was second to none. I was extremely happy with Dr. Fletcher and his group. I would highly recommend them to anyone, including my own children. Definitely a five star rating! Maureen S

My husband has been comming here since feb. Does not get along with dr. Fletcher. He says his concerns and pain go unnoticed. We even tried to go to a different dr and one of the nurses that works here also worked at the clinic we went to for a second opinion and he ended up with an apt with dr. Fletcher at this clinic and no second opinion. Was sent back to work on restrictions when his surgeon advised against it. If you read i said It was my husband.

I got my foot "pinched" between a mower deck and a tractor- I didn't want to visit an emergency room, but was looking for an X-ray to make sure I didn't break/crush anything. I called and went over. The paperwork was quick, the facilities were clean. The staff were very courteous and efficient. Nothing broke, on my way. I received a phone call the next day to check up on me. Very much appreciated. Thanks Safeworks!

I've been in this waiting room for an hour with the doctor in the next room over. (Note THE doctor. There's only one.) Totally inconsiderate of my schedule. Lazy staff as well as quite rude and brusque. Will not be coming back anytime soon. No one has even bothered to check in with me and tell what the heck is happening

I spent at least 2 hours there for a drug screen and physical. The receptionist and doctor were very polite and friendly. My nurse was not. She seemed rude and even rolled her eyes when I didn't know the name of a vaccine. Then I spent more time waiting around for a nurse while they were all gossiping, standing around, and on Snapchat. They need to give people notice on the wait times. I was lucky I didn't have work that day.

Dr Fletcher and his staff were wonderful from day 1. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Dr Fletcher went above and beyond with his care for me and spent much more time then any other doctor I have seen. I felt like I could call on his staff at any time I needed. I found the wait time for my appointments not long at all.

Dr. Fletcher and his staff are outstanding! From the moment you are examined, you are treated with dignity, and everyone is very supportive and helpful in trying to make an unpleasant time in your life less stressful. Dr. Fletcher takes time to understand what's going on with your injury, and is thorough in his examinations. You don't feel like just a number or dollar sign.
You feel like a very important person whose problems matter to them. I recommend this facility to anyone who is tired of sub-par patient care with other Occ/Med facilities in this area. The differences are night and day.
