This company and there doctors have been a blessing for me being disabled this is one of the best or the best Ins. I have had the last 3 years I have had Medical Assocites smart plan and I haven't had any problems with them so ever. I do have a separate drug coverage plan which is also a great mail order company I use.

We switched to Medical associates because we wanted everything in ONE place. First, I must say the physicians and PA we met, and received care from were extraordinary! Their team of Nurses, and office personnel all friendly and caring. Lab staff and imaging staff were excellent, professional and personable. ABOVE TOP NOTCH Rating! 5 all day! We have excellent insurance.
As with most ppl, we were responsible to pay our remaining balances after insurance paid. And sadly, no consideration would be given to us because we could not pay smaller remaining balances. I was immediately denied specialty care, which was desperately needed. This limitation was then extended to my primary care doctor AND now, they wanted cash for any visit.
Their accounts/collections staff actually said "we are privately owned and do not have to see you" in response to my questions about denial of medical care over less than $500.

Trying to resolve a pain issue I went to Finley urgent care and was not even given an xray to see what was causing the extreme pain, not even offered a pain med while I was there, a JCAHO Gold Standard National Patient Safety Goal! I even asked to have an xray full well knowing the potential risk of radiation. I was in severe pain, constant! I went to another urgent care in CA, unable to get into my pcp, and at least I was given a pain injection and muscle relaxers.
Even tried chiropractic medicine unsuccessfully. Then I go to MA acute care and had the best experience of all times. I was xrayed, given a rx for steroids, and rx for physical therapy! Something that should have been recommended from the get go. Dr Caylor, I cannot thank you enough for really listening to me and addressing my chronic issues in an acute care setting, with, on the first day of treatment, I was TOTALLY PAIN FREE IN MONTHS! I appreciate your compassion, your dedication, your intelligence, and your sense of humor! Yes, humor is the best medicine!

My husband and I just got married on May 30th and the day before he was very sick we needed to find a place to get him some treatment. Thankfully we were able to find this place because we're from out of town and we had no idea where there might be a clinic. This place was super helpful the person we talked to on the phone was helpful. We were able to get his medication easily in the upstairs pharmacy.
We even got a call from them on Monday to follow up and see how our care was. The nurses and the nurse practitioner we saw were the best and they made him feel so much better and they were all super accommodating and helpful. We got in and out and medicine in about an hour to hour and a half. Thank you again!

Rarely do I have to visit the doctor, but when I do, it's usually bad. Well, being out of town and sick is even worse! Fortunately, I found out this place had an acute care clinic for walk-ins and don't treat walk-ins as urgent care (saves some money over urgent care clinics). As a new patient, registration was quick and painless. They even called to get me on the list to see the doc downstairs (which was nice). Seeing the doctor was super quick as well. The prescription was ready for pick up right upstairs, so everything was super easy and smooth. Keep up the good work!
