Dr. Gregory Haffner is a vitreo-retinal surgeon who completed his ophthalmology residency at Yale. He was voted one of "America's Top Ophthalmologists." A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine, Dr. Huang has been a practicing physician since 1999. Dr. Erol Eri Verter is a graduate of Brandeis University with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Molecular and Cellular Biology. For more than 25 years, New England Retina Associates (NERA) has used cutting-edge treatments and advanced techniques to save the eyesight of thousands of patients.

I absolutely LOVED my experience at this office. Jessica and Jessica really set the tone with their amazing customer service and professionalism. They were comforting, super friendly, and patient. I was referred to the Trumbull office for a same day emergency visit, which was very stressful for me, but the staff was able to relieve a lot of my anxiety. I got all of the answers I needed and left feeling 100 times better than when I walked in. I truly am happy that I was referred to this office.

I was recommended to New England retina and I don't think I'll ever look back! What a great facility. Not only was the staff at the front desk patient and helpful but the doctors truly eased any concerns I had. Fantastic customer service and everyone was personable. Absolutely amazing. I have already referred 4 of my girlfriends! Highly recommend.

First and last visit to this group. Both Jessicas at the front desk are fabulous, as is Anna who does the photos. Neither Linda or Dr. Huang should deal with the public. Both were equally rude and condescending with no interest in patient care whatsoever. If you're interested in being heard as a patient or being treated kindly or with respect, look elsewhere.
I will be definitely getting a second opinion since 3 people had contradictory information in the same visit. I can't wait to read the notes in my chart and compare that with the word salad out of Dr. Huangs mouth. It's more like a fast food establishment- getting people in and out as quickly as possible, but they weren't even good at that.
