As a part of our primary care practice, we offer a number of services to make sure you're in good health. We also provide a number of other services to monitor your health such as lab testing and digital x-ray examinations. Our staff of experienced physicians are dedicated to providing quality medical care with expertise in primary care, complicated acute issues, minor urgent care needs, management of chronic illnesses, and general health education. Our goal is to address each patient's individual health needs in an appropriate and timely manner.
A visit to the emergency room will more than likely leave you with huge hospital bill, and booking an appointment with your Primary Care Physician weeks or months in advance for an urgent or concerning medical need can be inconvenient. Medallus Medical's urgent care practice bridges the gap between a visit to the ER and booking an appointment with your PCP.
An alternative to the emergency room, Medallus Medical provides urgent care for patients of all ages. Our urgent care unit offers another care option for patients who are unable to see their regular physician and want to receive a comprehensive evaluation and treatment of non-life threatening illnesses and injuries at a low cost.

Had a sore throat and wanted to verify that it wasn't COVID before the holiday season. Was able to register online and checkin safely from my car. Within 10 minutes I was called in, given a test and evaluated by a doctor. The whole visit took under 20 minutes. Very efficient and I felt safe the whole time!

Got here at around 4 pm - there were only two people in front of me. Check in took about thirty minutes because the front desk girl forgot about me and I had to bring her my papers even though she said she would come for them, then I just waited. And waited. And waited. Finally at 6 I got put in a room. Questions asked half listening by the nurse - had to repeat basic things several times. It is not 6:25 - still no sign of doctor. DONT COME HERE.

KEEP DRIVING and avoid! I went to Medallus Medical out of sheer convenience because of location because I live nearby. I went for a very basic TB test required for work. They charged $129 which is ridiculous in itself. You can get one for a third of the price many other spots. Again out of convenience I just went with it. I went back to get it read and they billed for $44 to get it read! I'm an RN and have been in the medical field for many years and have never experienced a charge to get the test read.
This is shady and disgusting to gouge customers like this. They did not ask for the $44 to get it read, rather sent me a bill. Very very shady practice. Do not support this business. Go somewhere that actually supports and lifts up the community, not gouge them for nominal things like a TB test. Outrageous.

Went in around 930, no wait, and paperwork was very straightforward. Caroline behind the desk was very sincere and helpful, offering to carry and pick things up for me along the way (I was on crutches). Jade was the MA, and she listened to my concerns thoughtfully and with empathy, but threw in a little humor as well. Sadly, I cannot recall the medical providers name, but she was very open and solution-focused, taking my case with due gravity and finding an appropriate course of treatment. Could not have asked a better experience!

This is the worst place to go to. I took my son who had very high fever and sour throat to this urgent care. I waited for over 2 hours for him to be seen. Everytime I went to the receptionist he'll start laughing in weird way and telling me it's slow over here. I felt I'm at a very careless place. Not coming here again!

We came into this urgent care fifteen minutes before closing with my wife in such pain that she was crying, with a sore throat and swollen lymph nodes. As we were filling out the paperwork, the doctor--an old man with white hair and a sour expression--came out and glanced at us and said "oh great, these guys snuck in? Make sure to lock the door now." It was shockingly rude and unprofessional, not to mention completely devoid of the compassion that should be the hallmark of his profession.
I cannot believe anyone would ever treat my sick wife this way, and will certainly be filing a complaint. Suffice it to say we left immediately and had to drive another 15 minutes to another urgent care center. Consider yourself warned before coming here.

My wife and I joined Medallus after emigrating here from abroad while I was looking for work and didn't have any medical insurance. I have a job now which is offering medical insurance so we called Medallus to notify them that we would like to cancel as we no longer needed it only to be told that we have to pay out the entirety of the 12 month membership.
This is despite the fact that their terms and conditions on cancellation fees says otherwise. I would have to agree with some of the other comments that these people are basically money grabbing con artists.

I had a horrible cold and sore throat and wanted to be sure it wasn't strep. I came into this instacare clinic conveniently located right in Holladay. They saw me right away. I was appreciative of the friendly and helpful receptionist and the process to get my insurance accepted was quick. The technician was helpful and Dr. Grandy was personable and attentive to my concerns.
I had an interview the next day and Dr. Grady helped me get some medicine so I could start feeling better quicker. I highly recommend this clinic if you don't have the time to wait for your regular doctor. Great experience overall!

Best experience you could have at a doctors office. I was being a total jerk because they werent able to look up my Kaiser info, but the bill was only 119$ anyways. Staff was very friendly and welcoming and helped me get back onto my feet asap. Treated my strep throat, and answered and questions that I had. Everyone was extremely nice and my nurse Tiffany was an absolute sweetheart. The doctor gave me reccomendations on finding a GI and I am very fortunate to have stopped in here. Thank you for all your help.

I went in because they were the Urgent Care in network with my insurance carrier, Regence. I was greeted warmly and the intake paperwork was a breeze. They got me into see a doctor within a few minutes. The doctor was friendly, efficient, and professional. The whole process took less than 30 minutes and a prescription was waiting for me at my pharmacy by the time I got there.
