Yesterday Me and my boyfriend went here due to my boyfriend having an extremely red eye that was swollen shut and had white sticky discharge. the staff was really nice but it was bad communication the Doctor didn't see anything and didn't even test for pink eye or His eye Pressures. I myself work at a vision clinic as a tech so I know everything we are suppose to do when having a medical patient.

I know the Doctors eyes cant always see everything in the moment but as soon as we got home we were able to see more sticky discharge that he didn't catch. today I brought my Boyfriend to my clinic and turned out he has bacterial and viral infection in OS. I wish we could've found this information out yesterday because My son and I both sleep in same bed and we could've potentially get the same infection in our eyes because of our sheet. Overall I think this is a nice clinic for vision not so much for medical.

It would be nice if they would ever pick up their phones. Every single time I call it goes straight to voicemail and getting a callback from them takes weeks very irritated and annoyed.

Highly recommended! Dr sutro was great took his time and really focused on what I needed, my glasses came out great perfect prescription and the frame selection was outstanding! I absolutely love my glasses this is the first time I've ever had to wear glasses in my whole life and I am 28 years old this place really made me feel welcome and helped me tremendously.

I will only use them for my optometrist needs for as long as they continue to be in business which I feel will be for many years to come. Dr sutro has been in his office for a very long time about 30 years or more even and they just moved locations to expand their building and office. Thank you so much for being such a great business

Apparently the manufacture is who to blame that I haven't recieved my glasses so I changed my rating to 4 stars, they would have received 5 if they were better at communicating what's going on! The staff and the doctor are all very nice people. I do recommend this clinic to everybody that needs eye care.

Best Optometrist in the PNW. All the reviews that are anything less than 5 star- ignore them, they're totally unwarranted. Dr. Sutro is amazingly thorough and attentive to detail. The office runs very quick, I had my eye exam, frames, and prescription all done in less than two weeks (which is very fast compared to other places in the area). Dr. Sutro is very kind, as well as the receptionist at the front. I will be recommending this office to my coworkers, friends, and family.

Wonderful service, and wonderful people. The Doctor is super friendly, and has some great eye jokes. The receptionist is also wonderful and took the time to help me pick out some great frames. I love that this is just a small team- makes me feel like they know my name and my exact situation- every time. It's not located in the prettiest building, but they have definitely created a comfortable environment once inside. Don't judge a book by its cover- this is one of the better places I've gone to for my optical needs! I'd give it five stars every time.

The office decor is very 1970''s. But in a good way. Dr Sutro is a bit odd but very thorough. He knows his stuff and makes you feel at ease during the exam. My only complaint was them not answering the phone to get an appointment. The office staff is pleasant when you finally get a hold of them.

Everyone in this office is very friendly! Dr Sutro is so good with my daughter.he takes the time to make her feel comfortable and my daughter always looks forward to her eye appointments! Thank you!

Dr Sutro is a really professional knowledgeable doctor. I've been in his Office for myself, my wife and a few of my relatives each at least for a few times. Couple of years ago I complained to Dr Sutro that his office was unorganized. The next visit and after everything was perfectly changed. As Dr. Sutro is a real perfectionist, with the first complain, he changed their habits from less thn normal to excellent. I suggest this office and this more than excellent doctor to all of you.

I have been here at least 9 times over the years and each time is extremely pleasant. I really enjoy Dr. Sutro's bedside manner and thoroughness. His staff is equally enjoyable and easy to work with. Selfishly, I hope he never retires. The day he does will be a loss for the community.

It was time to go get a new prescription, so I did a quick google search to find one near me that took my insurance. Location is close to home, and easy to get to. Does takes a few calls to actually get to talk to someone. Called a few times on a Monday, left a message, then called again Tuesday morning and had better luck. Made an appointment, went in a little early knowing there would be some paperwork.

Doctor Sutro did a very thorough exam, compared to what I usually got at walmart. He's got a great sense of humor, and gives advice and professional recommendations which was nice. Seen a few reviews here regarding the receptionist. Gal at the front desk was nice and helpful to me. We sat and talked and joked around prior to my appointment when doc was helping another patient. Thanks guys!

The most meticulous optometrist I have ever seen. awesome job, doctor!

My fave place of optometry. Another place id reccomend is sears optical in the Everett mall. But dr sutro is a pro. love the building, office, receptionist and choice of frames. even though there's hundreds of eye places out there. i just go here. they also accept state medicare.

Needed an annual eye exam and found them through my insurance. The office was in an old building but close to my house so I scheduled an appointment. Showed up 10 min prior to my appointment time and the office was closed and no one answered the phone. I waited 10 minutes until my appt time then left. I went to America's Best and paid out of pocket walk-in instead of having my time wasted at this office.

I came here for an eye exam (obviously) and new glasses. I'm really happy with the service I received here. The Dr. is very thorough, seems like he keeps up to date with all the latest methods, and it's nice to see someone who continues their education. He's got a great sense of humor, and makes you feel comfortable. The front desk staff is great, very understanding, and efficient. I'll be back again when I have enough saved up for contacts.

Wow, this guy is THOROUGH! Walmart didn't do half the stuff Dr. Sutro did. I have to believe that's a good indicator that I chose more wisely this time. My new glasses definitely have me seeing way better, and (again with the thorough!) he ran into the back room, like, 4 times (!) to adjust the frames so they'd sit perfectly on my crazy, lopsided ears!

One is higher than the other, and I've always just manually adjusted my glasses a million times a day to keep them even so I don't look like o. O Now, I don't know what to do with all the free time. Learn a new language? Catch up on Sherlock Season 3? Solve the mystery of How Can Seattle Drivers Suck So Bad At Driving In The Rain When They Get SO MUCH Practice?!?! Nahhh.nobody has that kind of time. Well, anyway, Dr. Sutro is great, and his new office assistant smells just fine (I'm referencing an earlier review from Eileen M.) and is very nice.

I would have given 5 stars, but had to drop one for the only negative: I've never had them answer the phone, no matter when I call, and it takes 3 voicemails to get a call returned. Not sure what's going on there, but I can overlook it in light of all the positives. I'll definitely be going back there for my next pair of glasses. :-)

Dr. Sutro is SO WEIRD. When you go into his office, there's seventies furniture and paintings. He dresses like an Englishman at tea. His receptionist chainsmokes so the desk is usually goes unmanned. His assistant has horrible body odor. She's a moderately thin woman too, but has an abnormally strong musky scent coming from someplace and she's got horrible armpit odor.

The most ridiculous thing of all-----Dr. Sutro's office is so tiny, yet he has an intercom system. It is hysterical! When he wants his smelly assistant (who is usually only a few feet away in the other room, Dr. Sutro actually gets ON the intercom phone and pages her to come to the room. I've been going to him for years though and so although I can't complain about the quality of the service (he is pretty good at what he does and very patient) his bizarre office at least keeps things entertaining! : )
