Wheaton Pediatrics

I have been taking my 3 kids here for years, the doctors are good and feel comfortable. Unfortunately today I had an appointment and a young woman in the front desk was so rude, awful attitude to the point that my young children pointed it out, thats soo sad. Just prior to that I spoke to someone on the phone who flat out hung up on me I am assuming it was her.

She clearly forgets that she has a job because of the patients that keep the office busy. Once I was in the back with the nurse and doctor everything was fine. I will be calling the office manager to complain.

Dr. Grunenwald is incredible with my daughter. Very impressed with her professionalism, compassion, and knowledge. Dr. G takes the time to thoroughly explain every situation. I never feel disappointed or unsatisfied or brushed off by her, or any of the staff. This is a doctor who takes pride in her work, and I see that! 5 stars; hands down my favorite pediatrician, ever!

If I could give a Zero, I would. Sadly, Wheaton Pediatrics has gone down since Dr. Liber sold his practice to Pediatrust. My kids have been going here for the past 17 years and it was always a wonderful family practice with warm welcoming staff, and now it's to just another corporate doctor's office that sees you as a dollar sign, and not a patient. Went 15 years without one billing issue, and now it's nothing but problems every time we go, and they have all sorts of weird charges too. Find a small family practice where they actually care about your child(ren) and avoid this place at all costs.

I went to wheaton pediatrics as a child. My family has been going to their practice for about 30 years. It seemed only right to bring my child to the practice. But I no longer know any of the doctors personally besides Dr. Liber as they have all left the practice. The overall practice is pretty disappointing. They seem to only care about getting paid now.

Extremely disappointing. I had my own problems with Wheaton Pediatrics as a child which I did not let get in the way of bringing my child in. Between being money hungry and the abrasiveness at the front desk I have decided to cut ties with Wheaton Pediatrics after 30 years. They did not really seem to care. Edit: After canceling my last appointment with Wheaton pediatrics, 48 hours in advance mind you.

I have received a letter from their billing department for a no call no show. Really goes to show that all they care about is money. I will not be paying the $30. Management was supposed to call me back within 24 hours concerning this bogus charge and I never received a call. Honestly, it breaks my heart that Dr Liber was my own pediatrician through my premie birth to brain surgery at 15 years old and on through my adolescence. And the practice completely disregarded me as an adult bringing my own children in. Thanks Wheaton Peds.

Wheaton Pediatrics was exemplary in helping me get my kids back to school! Both of my boys had slight coughs so I held them out of school for a day. I was able to get a same day rapid Covid Test with Wheaton Pediatrics and a note to their schools that they can return to regular programing. Their practice manager called me to ensure the additional notes were acceptable. I am so grateful for their help and patience since this is new territory for all of us!

Dr. Liber and his absolutely stellar team of nurses have taken excellent and compassionate care of my son, who suffers from several medical conditions. As his primary caregiver, Dr. Liber and his team have helped me manage complex care across many pediatric subspecialties with precision and urgency. Dr. Liber is thoughtful, deliberate, and thorough in his decision-making.

He is committed to patient and family education, and shows real joy in interacting with my children. The nurses and support staff in the practice are warm, caring, and professional. Patients in their care are extraordinarily lucky!

I went to Wheaton Pediatrics when I was younger and couldn't think of a better practice for my children. Dr. Liber is so thorough and really takes the time to explain everything to us in appropriate terms. He makes my children laugh during our visits and never rushes us through exams. I know he takes care of my children as if they were his own. Dr. Grunenwald is amazing if you are looking for a female pediatrician.

During cold and flu season, and all other seasons, there is always someone there to answer my call and reassure me that they will take good care of my children. The nursing staff is absolutely amazing as well! We really love the Sunday hours, so that we do not have to take our kids to urgent care or wait until Monday. Overall, this is a wonderful practice and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a pediatrician.

I brought my kids to Dr. Liber when they were very young and have always had a wonderful experience! Earlier this week I was in with my grandson (my kids bring their kids here too) and we met Dr. Roberts! He is wonderful! The staff was very kind, the nursing staff is great (we just love Ale and Estela!). I highly recommend this office! Thank you so much for taking such great care of my kids and now my grandchildren. I wouldn't trust them with anyone else!

Recently moved to the area and have been here twice now - once for a wellness check at 7 months and one recently for a cold/bad cough. Both times we were in the waiting room for 30 min after our appt time before we were called back. This last time, we were there for 2 hours! The doctor was over an hour behind with her patients. Plus when she finally saw us, she ran out of our office to help the next patient when she wasn't done with us and told me she would be back (which was 20 minutes later).

We didn't plan to be there that long and my son was getting hungry / ready for bed. I can't believe they let my 8 month old sick baby sit around waiting for the doctor for two hours! If you know you run behind, book less patients, don't make your patients wait around, especially when they are sick. Needless to say, we will be looking for a new doctors office.

We were new to the area a few years ago and were referred to this practice by our OB and a friend. We have been taking our son there for over 3.5 years. We Love it! The nurses are all very nice and the Dr.'s are great. In addition to the wonderful care they provide, we love their flexibility and hours. Whenever my son has been sick we received great council from the nurses over the phone.

They also always try to squeeze us in the same day if there is something urgent that needs to be seen right away. As a new mother they were very patient with me and considerate.
