I also got an Living Social deal and it was one of the best experience i ever had. If you go to their website, they emphasis that their primary objective is to serve people just like family and they do really treat you like family. Tina, one of the best staff member. She is very proficient in the work she does. The doctor that did my procedure knows what he is doing and is kind. They even call me back for a follow up after a year. I couldn't make it because i was in texas. I would definitely recommend this place

I never write Yelp reviews and am doing this one almost a year after getting this done. I purposely waited because I wanted to make sure all went well with my eyes. I bought the groupon deal and am very grateful for it as well. I did do research before and found that Dr. Lerner and team were experienced. Things I liked about the experience: 1. They don't waste your time - if you're a candidate they tell you. Dr. Lerner also has stricter policies for doing lasik than required by the board.

This made me feel safer since I had an astigmatism. So you're either a candidate for one, the other or neither and they will tell you like it is versus risking your eyesight or possible damage. They also don't waste your time with appointments they greet you when you arrive and take care of business without keeping you lingering and also balancing not rushing you out either. 2.

He is very patient and a great bedside manner - same with his staff. Everyone was super easy and able to answer questions. 3. Super Clean and organized. Unlike other lasik spots - Dr. Lerner owns his equipment and is the only on operating it allowing him and (us) to feel confident about the equipment doing what is necessary. 4. HE CALLED ME AFTER THE SURGERY TO SEE HOW I WAS DOING THAT NIGHT. 5. I'm inlove.not really but how ridiculously sweet was that?

I had lasik done and it was the best thing I did. I hands down recommend Dr. Lerner and his team. One last thing - you can bring in your glasses on your appointment date and Dr. Lerner travels to Guatemala and donates them to people in need.

Had Dr. Lerner perform LASIK surgery on me. I was apprehensive (the idea of having a laser cut into your cornea is frightening), but I'd heard about the ease and high success rate of the surgery. The day of the surgery I was given two valium to help me relax. Sure enough, the surgery only took 10 minutes, with no pain. I was awake the whole time, and was given a teddy bear to hold during the surgery.

After wearing glasses and contacts for 7 years, after a 10 minute surgery I had 20/20 vision again! You seriously walk out of the office post-op being able to see! I highly recommend Dr. Lerner. He made me feel informed and safe throughout the process, and I am extremely happy with the results. I can even see the leaves on the trees!

Jeez! This is my first ever Yelp review! I decided to yelp because I had such a great experience with Dr Lerner and all his fab staff who have enabled me to see again! From I walked in through the door (very nervously I might add) to leaving, I cannot express how happy I was with the whole experience! I had my first giggle when the receptionist asked me if I wore contacts.

I replied "I don't. No" His response was "How can u not know?".This set the tone for the imminent laughs we had in a very relaxed and comfortable setting :) I had such a warm experience from start to finish (Dr Lerner is really gentle and caring :)).but not only that, it just genuinely felt great! The procedure itself was really quick and painless and the results are amazing!

I can see better now than I did with my glasses :) I went on a whale spotting trip today which reaffirmed for me how thankful I am for Dr Lerner. You truly are a gem and I am very grateful to have met you and your great staff :)

I had Lasik done here about 4 years ago and have my normal check ups annually as well. Lasik - not for everyone, they'll evaluate you to see if you're a "candidate". It does NOT last forever- I noticed my night vision is slowly getting weaker, eventually I will also need to get reading glasses bc I have what they call presbyopia. The staff here is always friendly, professional and they have a bunch of candy in the waiting room. LAFFY TAFFYS! anyway, you'll probably need a referal from your primary if they take your insurance other than that, you can always make an appt for Lasik consultation (double check if it's still free) to see if you're a candidate. Dr. Lerner knows what he is doing.
