I was a patient of Dr. Roger Mann in 2013,2014. I came from a orthopedic in Sacramento after four failed metatarsal fusions after a misdiagnosed lisfranc fracture. It took Dr. Mann two times, two different surgeries to fuse the bones entirely but I was left in chronic pain nonetheless. He repeated multiple times "he did his job" because the bones were fused and then sent me to a pain clinic where I was diagnosed with crps 2.

During the fusions, my deep peroneal nerve became entrapped in the fusions setting off fireworks in my foot that have not let up and it is now 2021. My main complaint about Dr. Mann is that when I finally received my medical notes years later, he stated one appointment after the first failed surgery before he saw the x-rays that revealed his fusion had failed, that "'he' believes patient is purposefully having surgery in order to avoid going back to college".

Besides this outlandish claim it is entirely inappropriate and traumatizing considering the amount of pain I was in. Not to mention I would have given anything for a resemblance of a normal 20 year old's life. This comment will forever stay in my notes for all future physicians to see. Shame on Dr. Roger Mann.

Let me preface this by saying that Dr Mann is a great surgeon. And I had a fantastic experience with him. However, he has the most grossly incompetent front office staff that I have ever seen. Double booking appointments, failing to notify patients of changed times, failing to confirm changes. Overall, not worth the hassle. Edit: I have had three appointments with the office in the last few months. Every single one has been rescheduled within a week of my appointment. Seriously.

What a day I had at this place today. Doctor Rodger Mann is unbelievable. He was late over an hour to the office and of course our appt was the 1st so we waited forever to see him and all he had to say was he couldn't do anything for me. Like seriously. Had to pay $12 to park in the handicap parking stall. This is robbery. But the receptionist who helped seemed nice and friendly.

I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. He SUCKS. I seriously think it's time for him to retire. I couldn't post without selecting the rating. I would have definitely ranked him with no stars if I could

Office Staff - Could only say NO NO NO! We called and the soonest appointment was three weeks out. We asked to be put on a wait list, if anyone else cancelled we could be called. Guess what - not a single person cancelled in a 21 day period?

This was an experience like I've never had at any other doctor's office. Dr. Mann saw me in the exam room within 10 minutes of arriving, listened to everything I had to say about my condition and explained to me what my options are and how I could best help myself to achieve an optimal outcome. I left with a plan of action and all the paperwork I needed to get the rehab equipment I need. Anyone who needs surgical work on their ankle should consider him among their top options.

They were just going through the motions. Barely took more than a few minutes talking to me and didn't send the referral to the imaging shop.

I am very grateful that I found Dr. Jeffrey Mann. He is an amazing surgeon that is also gifted with an extraordinary capacity to listen, discuss and review with you your options. I have had two surgeries -- foot and knee (meniscus). Everything about both procedures went without a hitch. His staff is courteous, thorough and responsive. I never had excess wait periods to see either Dr. Mann or his PA.

I am, unfortunately, facing another surgery on the other side of the body; I would never trust anyone other than Dr. Mann. By the way, after having had a major surgery on my foot, I was able to resume running and ran a half marathon 6 months out. After my knee surgery (same leg), I again was back to running half marathons 4 months out. I am 89 half marathons out and am confident I will be able to meet my goal of 100 after this next surgery. Saying "thank you" just never seems to be enough, but thank you.

Doctors are great, office staff is incredibly weak. Expect to be in the office a minimum of 2 hours per visit. You'll be impressed by the doctors, appalled by the incompetence of the staff.

I am very grateful for the excellent surgical care I received from Dr. Mann and Mike recently (July 2014.) It's a little difficult to say "I loved it" but I was treated with a 5 star rating! :) The office staff was also very helpful and always pleasant and professional. Thank you for taking great care of me!
