St Anthony Hospital

Came in at 5 PM sharp had a MRSA infection, severe pain. Had to wait in the waiting room for 90 minutes, not an issue, it's understandable. got lead back to the room and waited to be seen. And waited and waited. waited over a half an hour for them To ignore me and I'm not ever going to go back to this establishment even if I'm going to die I would rather take the time to go to any other hospital. I now have to drive to another hospital to actually be seen by a doctor because some of the staff at Saint Anthony's did not want to provide medical services

The staff and services at the ER and after being admitted were great! I was there two nights! It would have been nice upon discharge if they had given me some waterproof bandages for my incision to take showers.nothing was packed in my discharge bag and they lost the top I was wearing when admitted! They did substitute a scrub top!

Broken rib lateral side break over my heart the 7th rib, since September 6th I finally go in January because they still are moving around now its March and nothing has been done they actually dropped me as a patient because they won't do anything. ZERO CONCERN OF THEIR PATIENTS.also nearly let a family member die for 10days in a coma to milk the insurance then had her life flighted to ohsu

Never come to this hospital. I came in with a broken leg and the staff ordered it as "skin condition". When I was dismissed they tried to prescribe me amoxicillin for any possible " infections". I am allergic to penicillin and they tried to assure me "it was fine". If you are in dire need of assistance, go out of town. There is a reason us locals call it 'St. Agonys"

Unless it is a life or death scenario, I would recommend you go elsewhere. Even then, weigh your options. Their ER is the worst I have ever encountered, staffed by rotational doctors who have misdiagnosed, left us in rooms for hours, refused to pull giant splinters from fingers, and belittled me personally for bringing accurate data to their attention.

Their Urgent Care is useless. X-ray took overnight for an ankle one time. One time I was turned away because high blood pressure is not something they treat in the urgent care, even if my dentist told me to go because it was too high for treatment. One time they told my daughter, while being treated for severe dizziness and illness, that they thought she was pregnant; which she denied.

She took a pregnancy test anyway, and it came back negative, and the representative stated, "Well, I don't believe these test results." Another doctor at another facility ultimately diagnosed her issue with little effort, (did not post the results as it is not my place to share that information). Waking up from surgery here was awful, although the staff were very kind. Waking up from surgery in Hermiston was no issue, especially by comparison, and overall was a far better experience.

It's a shame, there are a lot of good doctors and great surgeons in the area. It's just not the best environment. I was told that they stopped using the intravenous cannula that didn't bleed as much (the person described as the, "Better Ones") for cheaper ones that bleed more and cause more bruising. I presume as these are not life threatening conditions they did this as a cost savings, but I don't know that for sure.

It could be a simple symptom of a supplier change. Whatever. Maybe that is none of my business. UPDATE: Scholosis x-rays on 15 year old: Summary of Charges 320 RADIOLOGY DIAG GENERAL $2,221.00 Source: Multiple trips (greater than 5) in our family resulting in 100% misdiagnosis overall, and a substantially higher cost per incident than Hermiston's Good Shepherd, or Kadlec Health in the Tri-Cities.

If you're going in to get help for suicide, you might as well just off yourself. they treat you like a dog. i was unsure when i went was going thru with it and once i got there, i wish i would have. the young blonde ER nurse at night was making fun of my thru the door. the short hispanic security guard literally told me "you did this to yourself so deal with it" sorry i thought you were supposed to help people and be sensitive with them when they were trying to take their life. next time, i will die instead.

Was seen DR. Rein-hart Mcmillin, We and Emily C. RN on 09.02.21 for concerns the Eastern Oregon Treatment Detox program had about swelling in my feet. Employee from Eastern Oregon Treament took me to the emergency room and told me once the medical staff said I was medically stable Eastern Oregon Treatment Center would pick me up and take me back to the re-enter the program. Had labs done and was cleared medically and discharged. Emily C. RN called Jesse the RN at Eastern Oregont Treatment Program. Jesse told Emily C. RN they were not going to let me re-enter the program because I was high risk even though I was medically stable.

I explained to both DR. Rein-hart Mcmillin, We and Emily C. RN I was from central oregon 400 miles away and didn't know anyone in the area. Being the middle of the night and had no place to go. I was driven over from central oregon to Eastern Oregon Treatment Center by a medical transport service. Neither DR. Rein-hart Mcmillin, We and Emily C. RN cared. DR. Rein-hart Mcmillin, We exact words were "its not my problem, I dont care." I eventually had to call a relative, get a plane ticket to pdx and get to legacy hospital ER where I received care from excellent MDs and RNs. I dont recommend this place. Get on a plane if you have to and go to a hospital where the staff really cares about you and your wellbeing.

Heidi in family clinic/urgent care is the rudest employee I have ever dealt with. Cuts you off when you talk, think she can give medical advice about my medication when she isn't a doctor, won't let me change doctors when I ask and laughs when I question anything she says. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES or better yet, get rid of her.

Went in one week ago today. I was vomiting and sweating profusely. They wanted urine but I couldn't stop puking long enough. I was not told where the call button was the toilet that was brought in had been next to bed. I could not get out of that bed on my own to get to that toilet. Which left me humiliated. You can imagine. Ever been vomiting badly, You can't just stop.

I had to go to an ER back in October by ambulance for this same thing. St. Anthony's claimed the other hospital had no record of me. Hmmm funny 2 days later when I called they had record of me. Most disturbing thing was I told them I did not live in Pendleton. I had a long drive ahead of me. They released me at 5am. I went to my car and I remember turning the car on to warm up.

I woke up over 2 hours later. No one noticed this? Not security? Pendleton is very small town. How could you miss anything there. Um thank God I just passed out and didn't drive. I lived in Pendleton for a time. Started my family there. Had a child in 1997. Back then the locals called it St. Agony's. I'm grateful for the medical doctors and nurses that truly care. A reminder. There are good ones. To them I say thank you. I even sent the medical records you couldn't find. No answer from anyone.

Thank you for the care that my husband received during his recent in-patient surgery. We sincerely appreciated that I was allowed to stay with him in his room, where I was quite comfortable. Also, I had a positive experience during my recent surgery. We appreciated the care that we received.
