Valley View is an independent, nonprofit health system based in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Valley View Hospital was built in 1955 with funds raised by the residents of Glenwood Springs and the surrounding communities. Federal funds dedicated to building rural hospitals matched the funds raised. Since that time, Valley View commitment to the health of our community has been a cornerstone of our organization.What was once a 22,000 square foot, single story hospital with 35-beds is now a thriving regional medical center with a 21-acre medical campus with 78 beds, including an additional 400,000 square feet of advanced hospital and medical offices.

We proudly offered health fairs to the community for 17 years. Moving forward, we believe the best health care starts with a relationship with a primary care provider. A multitude of providers now offer primary care in the community. From Valley View's Internal Medicine and Glenwood Medical Associates to Mountain Family Health Center and Valley View's Roaring Fork Family Practice, strong access to a primary care provider is now available.

The man working the front desk was beyond incompetent, texting while ignoring patients. He was more concerned about his Jimmy John's delivery than his job. After 5hrs and a million tests later we left with zero answers. The doctor was supposed to call that evening with results, he never did. So I called today and was passed around through 3 VERY rude people until they finally got me to the correct person. This place is a disaster! I will never go back!

Went to hospital for massive nosebleed in late evening. The staff were courteous and empathetic on arrival. As a healthcare professional, i wasn't sure what to expect at a community hospital in a small town. The nursing staff and Dr Abramson were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I am extremely pleased with the care i received.

Worst hospital experience iv ever encountered. I question the validity of some of the Drs medical licenses. & the majority of the drs are either incompetent or have such huge egos they wont listen to a thing you say, and the level of condescension is quite amazing. Even the nurses act they they hate their job & treat you like youre a bother to them.

This place is such a mess. They spend an exorbitant amount of taxpayer money trying to make the place look and seem fancy, but really it is just so dysfunctional. I was incorrectly charged on 3 different occasions. There were a few different doctors who I saw that were awesome. But stay away from here if at all possible.

Called to verify address since mail was returned. Lady who answered phone was extremely rude and seemed like she hated life and her job. I finally told her I'm not trying to be rude and hung up on her bc she made me feel like I was interrupting her day. All because I was trying to verify an address. Glad I don't have to go there.

I went into the ER tonight because my daughter and I have COVID symptoms. This lady at registration starts asking me questions and in the middle of answering them she would pick up the phone. If she HAS to answer the phone she shouldn't even of called our name. She then proceeds to answer more calls and then in the middle of her phone call start asking me personal questions. (TOTALLY VIOLATES HIPPA).
I looked at her and told her not to ask me personal questions while she has someone on the line and the phone to her head. She slams her phone and raises her voice to ask me the questions louder. Told her she was rude and left. I will not tolerate that treatment especially coming from the first person i talk to walking into the hospital
