Dr. Melanie R. Haynes is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to helping her patients achieve and maintain healthy and youthful skin. Melanie R. Haynes, M.D. has practiced in Pinellas County for over 25 years and after spending 15 years in a multi-specialty clinic setting she went out on her own and established the Skin Wellness Center.
Howard Hirschfield, ARNP is a certified nurse practitioner working locally in the Dermatology specialty since 1998. He is a well-known experienced clinical provider in the evaluation and treatment of routine skin problems and screening for skin cancer. Howard has a particular interest in the treatment of acne and the Skin Wellness Center offers all the latest modalities for state-of-the-art acne treatment.
Linda Paguni serves as our Medical Esthetician and Cosmetic Consultant. With over 18 years of experience in the field of esthetics, she spent several years training and working in Connecticut before moving to Florida. Linda combines compassion with knowledge to educate every patient for their best possible outcome.

Amazing team of dermatologists, I went Accutane for a number of months because of my severe acne problem. They were able to walk me through this journey and give me comfort when I was seeking it. Dr. Howard Hirchfield was able to coach me through things and answer the many questions I had throughout my journey on Accutane. After taking Accutane I am happy to share that my acne is completely gone and they were even able to aid in the healing of my acne scarring. Amazing people who are wanting to help.

Great Dermatologist center! I needed an appointment (as a new patient) as soon as possible and they put me on the schedule for the next day. Once I arrived there, staff was very kind and professional. The wait time was very minimum; my appointment was at 2:00 pm and they call me up to the room almost at that exact time. Nurse was very professional and knowledgeable.
I only waited for about 5 minutes for the dermatologist to come in the room for examination; Mr. Howard Hirschifield was very knowledgeable and was able to give a diagnosis almost right away. I definitely recommend this skin center. I had a very pleasant experience.

Robbery. My appointment didn't last 5 minutes and they barely looked at me. Paid them the day of the appointment when leaving. Got a bill 3 weeks later for $50+. Can't reach them by phone trying 3 days in a row and no voicemail is available. Walked in during limited hours and paid them again. 3 weeks later, yet another bill over $30. Why!? I already paid you twice for my 5 minute appointment in which nothing was done! And once again I have a window of about a week until payment is due. You cannot just continue to demand more money for several weeks after my appointment.
