Stay away from this place! Awful! Trust me! Money machine.period.worse medical experience in my entire life! (I am 66). Zero communication + arrogance = fail! Too many patients for their skill levels and staffing. Again, stay far away.thank you!

Very disappointed by inefficient front staff; have been trying to schedule my yearly appointment for last 2 weeks and called them several times, left messages. Once they confirmed to get back to me in 24 hours with options but no one called me back. I like the doctor and that's why I am sticking otherwise i would have moved to other center, which provides quality service and respects patient's time.

I am usually quite nervous when I visit doctors, but Dr. Severin's communication and calm manner gives me confidence. He patiently listens to my concerns about my eyes and explains possible solutions. His staff is warm, caring, and friendly making you feel like you are a part of their family. Dr. Severin uses the latest medical technology in treating your eyes. I have been one of his patients for well over a decade and would highly recommend him.

I called today 4/21, 2:10 PMThis place was referred to me by two of my friends. I called and attempted to make an appointment for eye exam and potential cataract surgery. I had a young gal taking my information, I gave her my insurance info which is a PPO. She put me on hold, came back on line and said "I'm sorry, we do not take your insurance ".

I have never had a Dr. say this to me, let alone refuse to call my insurance company and get an understanding of the procedure. It's called Apostrophe, use it all the time. Sad there is such a rude front desk person, unwilling to take 5 min to call the insurance company and further their understanding. I will let my two friends know the treatment I got! Dr. May be good but when your front desk is the roadblock, lots of business being lost.

My mother and I have both been seeing Dr Todd for 20+ years as we both have glaucoma. He has done both cataract and glaucoma surgeries on me and all surgeries were successful with no negative outcomes. He is a very warm and caring doctor who listens to his patients. His techs are the best - I can't say enough about them - never rude or grumpy; always friendly, I feel so welcomed by them. I love Dr Todd and his techs

I'm on the young(er) side to be battling with glaucoma. After years at other practices, I am so happy to have found Dr. Severin and his friendly, caring staff. Still battling, but I know I am in good hands. Perhaps just as important as the capable and knowledgeable doctors and technicians is knowing that I've got a team of people that care. Doctor and staff take as much time as is necessary to ensure my comfort and confidence during every consultation and for every surgical or non-surgical procedure.

My wife has been a patient for over 6 years. She had a very successful cataract surgery performed by Dr. Severin (son) and is still to date under his ongoing care. My eye care specialist passed away and I started with this new eye center. I am very pleased with all the services and professionalism of everyone there.

I had cataract surgery about four years ago which improved my vision enormously. Recently my night vision has become a concern. I went back to Dr. Severin, discussed my concerns and was reassured there was a fast and easy solution which would no doubt improve my vision. A simple laser procedure could be done on each eye to remove the film that had developed after the cataract surgery.

One eye was done one week and another done yesterday. The improvement has been amazing. Dr. Severin's office staff have that office running like a finely tuned clock, always with a smile and encouragement. I highly recommend Dr. Severin for all concerns eye related.

What a terrific office. I had excellent service, and both Dr Severin's are top in their field. I had cataract surgery back in January of this year, and they have been courteous, caring professionals, and with a terrific staff. My vision is perfect at 20-25, and I just had my last follow up after surgery. All is OK and no more glasses. I recommend this center for any eye issues. They have earned a 5 star rating from me.

Started have vision problems that gradually got worse so I asked around to find an eye doctor, Was referred by several people to Dr Severin and so I booked an appointment. Turns out that I had a cataract that that needed to be removed. All I can asy is that I have received the best possible care from the best possible people and that goes for everyone on his staff. I highly recommend Dr Severin and the East Bay Eye Center.

I had a wonderful experience with this office. I waited 2-3 weeks for an initial appointment but it was well worth it. Dr Ed was very patient and kind. He explained everything in the appointment, step by step and in terms I could understand. Dr Ed also took the time to listen to my concerns. I never felt rushed. He took exceptional care of me and my eyes. My eyes have found a home.

You must book an appointment well in advance. However, once you arrive at your appointment the staff and Dr. Todd are excellent!

The doctors are fine. We were greeted very rudely when we arrived for an appointment. No greeting from the heavy set Hispanic woman at the front desk. No smile. Just "do you have an appointment?" Really?!?!? I wanted to say: no we just thought we'd stop by for a dose of your snarkyness. Totally unnecessary rudeness.

I have had excellent, professional, and compassionate care from Dr. Todd Severin and all the nurses, medical assistants, and office staf at East Bay Eye Center. All the procedures I underwent were explained to me in clear, understandable language. After care was great. Everyone was very kind and genuinely friendly. I feel very confident about my continued eye care while I am a patient of Dr Todd Severin's at East Bay Eye Center.

Dr. Todd was amazing. Very funny and makes you feel completely comfortable. The staff in the office is very nice and keeps you informed.

I have been going to Dr. Severin for the past year and extremely pleased with the Dr. and his staff. They are caring, knowledgeable and NO WAITING. Right in, moved through the tests and on the Dr. with no delays.

I went to East Bay Eye Clinic for one problem and they found another. Dr. Severin diagnosed the problem and I had two laser procedure for very narrow drainage angle in my eyes. No problems but Dr. Severin, being the nice doctor that he is, offered to take my Warriors tickets if I had any eye discomfort. On the other hand, My medical carrier is United Health Care and they didn't want to pay for the services. East Bay Eye Clinic work with them to justify the procedures and got everything covered with very little effort on my part. In general, a very nice experience.

I was referred to Dr. Severin by my opthamoligist for a condition that could've suddenly stolen my eyesight. The initial appointment wait was 3 months, but they called me back to get me in sooner. The staff is efficient with the paperwork ahead of time, and the wait time in the office is minimal. Great support staff of friendly, professional techs to do the pre-testing. Dr. Todd Severin is great- very friendly, knowledgable, explains everything, great sense of humor yet professional.

I had 2 laser procedures, 2 weeks apart, and one follow up. Another follow up in 6 months. It was a breeze, no pain, no probs, and now no worries about a lurking issue. Couldn't be happier. This is a great staff, great care!

This was my first visit with Dr. Severin. I was nervous about the glaucoma eval. He took time to answer my questions and explain my eye situation. He and his staff are welcoming and professional. The office waiting area is beautiful and comfortable. I have looked at some of the reviews that give low scores for long wait time and that is sad. I work in health care. Specialists that are thorough and really take the time with you when it is your turn in the exam room and genuinely care about you are worth the wait. Dr Severin and his staff are A+.

Dr Severin has a beautiful office which is good because you will spend a lot of time in it. Having been treated by the doctor for more than 6 years, I have become accustomed to an hour plus wait for an examination. But about half the time it takes more two hours. Today, it was slightly more than 2 1/2 hours! While Dr. Severin might be a competent doctor, his office is anything but.

When it comes to ophthalmology, glaucoma specialists, and optical surgery, Dr. Severin and his practice are impeccable. I've been a patient of his for over 15 years, and grew up under his care for my eyes. No matter where I've moved, I always make sure to come and see one of the best eye doctor's I've ever had. His staff is nice and polite, his technicians and doctors are knowledgeable and friendly, and every appointment is nothing short of awesome. He's really one of a kind, and an absolute blessing!

If you need a Glaucoma specalist, he's the man. Totally professinal, always POSITIVE, extrememly polite and really cares about YOU! When was the last time you had a Doctor that fits this description? I've been seeing Dr. Severin for years, and he's is the very BEST. I love him, his work, his demeanor & his honesty. His staff is the very best. They are friendly, caring, and absolutely the most professional group of talented people I know.

I was treated by Dr. Severin in Berkeley for Lasik and was he was absolutely perfect! Gentle, soft spoken, very calming and just AWESOME! I had to visit Dr. Severin on his day off because of trauma I caused during my recovery. I fell in love with his staff and with his professionalism. Therefore, all I need to say is I love Dr. Severin and I plan on going driving all the way to San Ramon to have him be my regular eye doctor even if I have to pay Cash! I do not care he is great!
