Was a patient for several years; had liked and respected him. I recently questioned him about a billing practice that I subsequently found out had been going on for years. I questioned him about this questionable and seemingly unorthodox billing methods. He called his insurance company who then, on his behalf, fired me on voice mail. Nice. Fast forward to these past few days.
My new provider has left multiple unanswered voice mails. Until his office returns these phone calls, I can't help but wonder if my medical records are being withheld. Stay tuned.

I saw the sign for Zr. Zangari's business on my way home from work and thought "Great - an eye doctor right on my way home that I can drop in and get everything taken care of." Wrong - I scheduled an appointment for a contact lens exam. I showed up for my 10:00 AM appointment about 25 minutes early and was taken 22 minutes late at 10:22 AM. However, the story doesn't end.
I needed to order contact lenses. It was early December at this point. I order lenses and was contacted by the office to let me know that they were in. I arrived to pick up my lenses on December 28 and the office was supposed to be open until 4 PM. I arrived at 3:50PM and the doors were locked. Ok, maybe that was my fault. So the next day I arrive at 8:00 AM for their posted opening time.
No one is there. I wait until 8:30 and still no one answers my knocks on the door. I call the office at 10:00 AM to see if they are open and then explain I was there at 8 AM, the woman that answers, says " We were open - I was in the back shredding paper and forgot to open the doors" Verdict. Horrible customer service and a lack of medical professionalism, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
