Labette Center opened in 1979 with a three-person staff. As demand for services has grown, the Center has added programs and staff to meet the needs of Labette County citizens. Mission: To create hope and opportunities for life change by providing education, support, consultation, and therapeutic behavioral health services to the people and communities of Labette County.

Services
At Labette Center for Mental Health Services, we are dedicated to making professional mental health services available to all citizens of Labette County. These services help in overcoming emotional and social problems. Labette Center offers 24/7 emergency services. Qualified Mental Health Professionals can be reached by calling Labette Center's Crisis line at 620-421-3770 or 800-303-3770.
Labette Center accepts online payments. Please be sure to inlcude your account number with the payment information. Your privacy cannot be protected if you choose to submit questions to our office through this site. Our billing department will not respond back to your question through email. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an interactive public education program. Through the course, individuals are able to learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. Labette Center is proud to be able to provide both the adult and youth versions of this course as well as the brand new teen MHFA.
The Labette Center for Mental Health Service, Inc. Foundation for Help and Hope is an entity governed by a Board of Trustees, which is jointly shared with Labette Center for Mental Health Services. The foundation will create an opportunity for individuals in the community and surrounding areas to be able to give to a local non-profit organization whose mission is to create hope and opportunity for life change by providing education, support, consultation, and therapeutic behavioral health services to the people and communities of Labette County.
