Dr. Barrere is very good at what he does. He makes sure you are comfortable and gets to know you as a person instead of just another patient. He is very transparent with you about what is needed to be done, or anything regarding test results which is extremely important I think. I would highly recommend him to anyone, the first time I met him I was able to sit down and talk to him about my pervious test results from another doctor who refused to explain them to me, but he explained everything the best he could and let me know the steps that will be taken etc. Having someone transparent is important to me, otherwise you're stuck googling the meaning of these test results and what is being done and that never ends well.

Less than 5 minute conversation for almost $200 with insurance. Joke. Insurance company thought I got an annual check up, no, that's nothing out of pocket after paying insurance. I literally got charged for a five minute conversation and didn't learn anything I hadn't already read online. If you pay for insurance, don't go here. Lesson learned, I will be asking the "doctors" fee from now on before wasting my time and money.

I have been going to Dr. Barrere for 22 years and he is amazing! I had a bad experience with the doctor I had for my first child so when I found Dr. Barrere for my 2nd child I knew I was going to continue with him. He delivered 3 of my 4 children and I couldn't have asked for better care. He is patient and listens. He knows how to calm you down if you're upset, very understanding. He actually sees my oldest daughter who he delivered. I can't say enough good things about him :

I was recommended to Dr. Barrere by many of my husband's family members, and am very glad. I've always felt very comfortable in his offices & asking my questions. He truly seems to have my best interests at heart, always asking what my birth plans are and being very supportive, while also giving his advice. He is a very compassionate doctor and very down to earth. He's very compassionate in the appropriate setting, but also not afraid to joke with you, again, when the situation is appropriate.

I love Dr Barrere's office. I have a hard time finding a doctor that will extend mutual respect, but I have found that with Doctor Barrere. He listens and I don't feel rushed, he also respects my decisions regarding care. I drive all the way from West Virginia to have him as a doctor. Very professional but also personable. I highly recommend him as your Doctor!

Dr. B is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He's delivered my two babies and I went through multiple miscarriages in his office and never felt uncomfortable or judged. He's a great listener and allows the patient to lead in medical decisions, which is so important to us! His office feels personal and everyone there knows you by name, where other offices feel like a "conveyor belt". Thankful to have found an OB who feels more like a friend than a doctor!
