We at Be Well Medical Center are committed to provide quality health care and to serve our patients without regard to race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, political preferences, or sexual orientation. It is our intention not to discriminate, be judgmental, or have bias towards anyone. These are not simply published words, but are practices we strive and train for to do our best each and every day. We must all be respectful and put our commonalities first. Our priority is your good health.
The Be Well Medical Center will refer you to appropriate medical specialists for certain specialized care, but for the bulk of our patients, as a family medical practice we will address the majority of your health concerns. These include all matters of general primary care, as well as more specialized areas where we have established a certain level of expertise, including HIV care and transgender health care.
The Be Well Medical Center was founded by Dr. Paul Benson in 1980 in Berkley, Michigan. Since 2006, the practice has been housed in its own building, designed especially for that purpose by Dr. Benson himself. Be Well is a family medicine practice, meaning it provides primary medical care for patients of all ages.
There is ample parking in our lot. Warning: Drive safely and do not speed on Eleven Mile Road. The Berkley police are well known for their aggressive issuing of speeding tickets! We understand it is important to patients to maintain continuity of care by having their same family physician handle as much of their medical needs as possible.

I left a doctors office in Ferndale that I won't name to be polite. Blanket statement doctors offices are more and more about turn and burn and $$$ less about what you need. Be well and the team there is not only personable, patient and Intuitive to what you need but you never have to wait longer than a few minutes to see your doctor - which is so appreciative now.
All the doctors are great (I don't have a favorite) because they all are patient. Nurse Chris always takes care of you and is one of their most valuable assets. Professional, courteous and one of their staples. Love Be Well!

Today was my first visit to Dr Bensons Be Well Clinic and as someone who can admit I've always been affraid of going to the doctor this was an exceptional comforting place to go! Everyone that works here are warm and welcoming from the receptionist to the lab tech and even the pharmacist! My doctor was very friendly and understanding and most importantly non intimidating.
Nurse Christopher was the biggest treat! He really went above and beyond making my visit as comfortable as one can hope for with nothing to fear or worry about. What a great facility and remarkable team! Thank you soo much!

My Journey with Dr Benson started in October 2021. I have known of the Dr since the 1980s but we'd never crossed paths (personally or professionally) until this point. My diagnosis was serious and he himself took my case personally. The knowledge of this man and his course of treatment have been amazing to say the least. His team is probably the most compassionate, caring and friendliest office of people you'll ever come in contact with.
Within just 2 short months of treatment my compound diagnosis of problems has finally started to do EXACTLY what the Dr knew they would do. His treatment (alone) has all but done away with issues I'd had only 2 months ago. The Dr KNEW my body would take care of itself with his treatment and it's running the course the Dr foresaw. For someone who disliked dealing with medical issues my entire life, I feel totally uplifted after I make my regular visit with Dr B.
He literally saved my life and put me at ease about it. The Be Well Medical Center is just THAT.everything you need under one roof to MAKE YOU WELL (and put you at ease). Patel in the Pharmacy is the most sincere friendly Pharmacists you'll ever want to meet. The lab techs are also their best at drawing blood as needed (without making you feel like a pin cushion!). The ENTIRE TEAM is just a pleasure to be cared by. Thank you for helping me reach 2022 and beyond!

I had my first appointment as a new patient with Lee Burroughs today. It is a beautiful facility, the receptionist was absolutely lovely and efficient. My nurse was very kind and sweet. I had the best visit with Lee. Working myself, in medicine for 20yrs, I've had a hard time finding a good and thorough primary care provider, and Lee is worth his weight in gold.
He's extremely thorough, informative, he has an amazing personality, and is genuinely passionate about managing care, even in complex cases. His energy oozes dedication, and I was very impressed. I look forward to my next appointment!

After my concerns with my original family doctor weren't being addressed, I decided to get in with another doctor for a second opinion. My boyfriend recommended this office which is where he comes. I really couldn't be happier by the treatment I received by Dr. Youngblood and his staff who did an incredible job with getting me sent for all the testing I needed to figure out what is going on.
Although I haven't received all my results as of yet, the amount of relief I feel for being listened to is immeasurable. Id like to say thank you to everyone at the office today who helped me. Thank you! (And please always remember you have to be your own advocate!)

I started going here for my diabetic treatments after a horrible experience with another facility. Dr. Coller is a great PA and very attentive. He listens and provides exceptional advice for your concerns. I've never been to a doctor that has such respect for their patients. I was nervous to see him partly because my experience with a previous center had my anxiety up.
After speaking to him and the staff I calmed down and things went smoothly. He helped me take control of my health instead of prescribing medications for every little thing. I will be visiting this site again in a few months to hopefully begin HRT. Very supportive of the LGBT community and PoC. I will continue to drive to here from Mt. Clemens for all my medical needs.

Well first I want to start off with saying that Caleb is literally one of, if not thee, BEST doctors I have ever had. He's always been so welcoming and comforting when I started meeting with him in 2018. Recently I ran out of my prescription literally the weekend of the 4th. In a panic I messaged Caleb Friday night, he called me Saturday morning PERSONALLY, not from the office, and told me he was driving up north but he would turn around and stop by the office to have me meds ready for me to pick up while the office was closed.
He literally went above and beyond for me and for that I will ALWAYS be appreciative of him. Also the receptionist who use to work their Tate, I haven't seen them in a while but they were always so polite to me.

I Initially found this office online when searching online for LGBT friendly doctors and I am more than happy this is where I ended up. Dr. Colin is amazing at his job and creates a safe and comfortable environment from the minute you arrive despite any nerves or worries you may have. I had a great experience with Sophia on the phone and she went above and beyond to help me through all complications I encountered. She was patient, passionate and I appreciate everything she has done. Overall, love Be Well Medical Center.

Be Well Medical Center is an all around great office. The staff is always so upbeat and friendly. I've been seeing Dr. Bullough for quite some time now, and he's my favorite doctor I've ever been to. He's so down to earth and helpful, and just really easy to talk to. I never have trouble getting an appointment, and the wait time once I'm there for my appointment isn't long at all. If you're looking for a primary care office, I highly recommend Be Well!
