If your primary recommends this office please ask for another recommendation. First, the staff is terrible. Take forever to schedule an appointment and they do not bill your insurance properly. Secondly, when you call to pay the copay( telemedicine visits due to covid) their credit card machine doesn't work or they don't charge your credit card and send another bill. Thirdly, I don't believe that the doctor actually cared about me at all. I had four visits and they were all less than 10 minutes and my issue is not resolved. I think I'll go Penn Medicine instead.

The staff is really nice and the doctors really take tome to answer questions. But when it comes to getting information over the phone, making an appointment, or getting results it takes them weeks to get back to me. I called at least twice and left messages asking if they could call me back. I heard nothing. This isn't the first time either. I would go somewhere else if I could. This is all a follow up from being hospitalized.

Dr. Gordon is very knowledgeable and charming. Dr. Gordon was able to put my mind at ease and I felt I would be properly cared for, which I was. The whole office staff is extremely warm and friendly. This is how I would like all doctors and offices to be. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a Hematologist / Oncologist. After many years of not getting anywhere with my health, I feel as though I have found a hidden gem.
I can't stress enough how wonderful Dr. Gordon was with me and my health issues. I feel as though I have a light at the end of the tunnel thanks to the short and long term medical plan that has been set for me. Best Wishes.

I was there in June of 2014 to receive my results from my bone marrow biopsy from Dr. ( Trina) Poretta & when it came back good she gave me a high five & I was there again in December of the same year to get my Nuelasta shot & I accidentally banged my head on an open IV control panel & had to have Trina check me out & she gave me the biggest Christmas present that year three weeks off from chemotherapy.
You do not find Doctors like her every day & she's really a knowledgeable person & is up on her care & treatment of her patients. Also she has a good sense of humor. I stopped by on 10-25 in costume to pass out candy.

Well, I'll start with the good - they cured my mom's lymphoma so no complaints there. The doctors seem caring and competent and made time to call me and give updates and answer my questions without rushing to get me off the phone. However the office itself needs help with management - my mom often had to wait 1-2 hours past her appointment time to be seen, it took multiple calls to get scripts/referrals/other medical papers faxed to other providers, and when they were faxed there was information missing, long wait times on the phone (often 10-15 minutes) when calling the office, two doctors left and two office locations closed in the year my mom was a patient.
It seems like the staff is trying to do their best but are understaffed or need new management. I would not refer this office to a friend, even though the actual medical care was competent, because as a cancer patient going through chemo, you deserve to have best experience possible with both your doctors and the supporting medical staff.

Dr. Poretta is a wonderful, personable and miraculously competent c physician. My father was diagnosed with metastatic prostate c that entered his lung and thoracic bones; PSA was 11,000. He was dying and his spinal cord was compromised (couldn't lift legs easily). Another c doctor failed to even read his scans so treatment was incompetent and dangerous.
My dad later found Dr Poretta at Comprehensive Cancer and she took the time to review all records and she came up with a plan which essentially found after a year, the strawberry sized tumors on the lung had disappeared, the c stopped spreading, the bone damage has been repairing itself and the PSA is now less than 1; Heavenly Father has worked through Dr Poretta.
He is back to work and regained all lost weight. My dad continues with Dr. Poretta. We Highly recommend Dr. Poretta and her associates to either manage your treatment or for a second opinion.
