Dr. Barisciano graduated valedictorian from Whippany Park High School in Whippany, NJ. She was then accepted into the highly competitive BA/MD program at Rutgers College and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She graduated with highest honors and went on to complete her pediatric residency at Cornell Medical Center - New York Presbyterian Hospital.
During that time, she received several awards in teaching excellence. Dr. Barisciano then remained at Cornell to complete her sub-specialty training in asthma, allergy and immunology, a specialty that allows her to provide care to both children and adults.
