Excellent experience with Dr. Clott who took care of my daughter at the ER at Morristown Hospital. He was terrific with her. Open and honest about the procedure but in a way that made her feel comfortable and reassured that everything was going to go well. He did a fantastic job repairing her lip after our dog took a bite out of her top lip as she was putting her down on the floor.
She never saw it coming. He came quickly to the hospital and explained the procedure to her and did a beautiful job of sewing her up and it is healing beautifully. Her follow up appointment went just as well. Very difficult situation when you are in the ER and cannot be with your child and they are in shock and have to handle the situation on their own. He did a fantastic job and his work was impeccable. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful job he did!

Dr. Clott saved my hand after a life changing work injury. I had a 600 lbs. plate of steel at 350F dropped on my right hand which caused the muscles and internals to explode through the stretchy region between my thumb and index finger. Dr. Clott was the first doctor at the several hospitals I was transferred between to even approach me (the blood and xrays, and extensive burns were a grim sight).
He immediately reassured me and spoke of his storied experience in resolving exactly these types of injuries and said I would not be loosing it. Despite my doubts, he managed to reconstruct my hand and resolve the extensive burns I had. As I type this 3 months after this event, I can't help but think that if it wasn't for him I might not have kept my hand, much less in near perfect form.
I still have therapy to go, but it's entirely because of his skills, talent, and confidence inducing bedtime manner that things were put on the correct path. I am eternally grateful for this man. -TJD

Matt is a personal friend and colleague of mine thru Morristown Medical Center. He has always been professional, available and knowledgeable in his field of expertise whenever I get to work with him in the Emergency Department. My wife and daughter visited him about 2 weeks ago. He was thorough, informative and able to put us on a path to resolving their issues, particularly with my daughter. Overall, a great guy. Would highly recommend him to anyone requiring his services.

My nail bed was destroyed, nail hanging off my finger, going through my skin. Doctor Clott was an amazing doctor and made me feel comfortable. The "financial scam" people are complaining about is absolutely bs. Within 30 minutes, my nail bed was repaired and the nail was back in place. Service was amazing and I definitely recommend this doctor to others.

My daughter needed stitches for a laceration in her forehead, and Dr. Matthew Clott was the plastic surgeon on call. He was amazing! Kind, informative, and so incredibly good with my 4-year old - he made an otherwise uncomfortable and unpleasant situation not only bearable, but actually pleasant! I have peace of mind that we were well taken care of by a skilled physician who cares for his patients!

Dr. Clott was amazing. I felt immediately comfortable and confident in his abilities and he was gentle and caring. Truly a special doctor. Normally I wouldn't comment about it, but since some of the other reviews complained about his billing, I have to say, without question, that his billing practices were fair, ethical and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. David and Donna knew the ins and outs of a crazy process and made it easy.
They clearly wanted to get my insurance to pay as much as they could get and always kept my final balance in mind. The office staff was courteous and professional. I can not recommend Dr. Clott and his office more highly!

I took my daughter to Somerset Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery and she received great care from Dr Clott! The staff was very friendly and attentive. When I called for an appointment I found out they were out of network. With my daughter in pain I made the appointment and was glad I did! My daughter received excellent care and the price was actually very fair!

Dr. Clott came to the ER to stitch my son's eyelid after a fall at school. He was very thorough and explained to my son exactly what was going to happen on his level. His calm way put all of us at ease. He did a great job and my son is healing well. When it came to billing my insurance would only pay a portion and I was billed the rest. After fighting with insurance they told me I was not responsible for the remainder and they would speak with the office staff.
The office staff was very patient dealing with the situation. In the end Dr. Clott allevatiated my financial stress by waving the remainder of the bill. I greatly appreciate his services and generousity!
