Services
Community Healthcare Center is a product of a 1992 organized community effort to develop a healthcare facility for the medically underserved: low income, uninsured and under-insured community residents. The Center began providing medical care in 1994 to Wichita County and counties in north Texas. Today, over 30,000 insured and uninsured patients annually call Community Healthcare Center their healthcare home.
Sliding fee discount is available based on family size and income, regardless of insurance status. In addition to the above listed primary care services, Community Healthcare Center takes advantage of programs which may provide eligible patients with services with a co-pay or possibly no cost. Some of these programs emphasizes preventive care for women.
Community Healthcare Center gladly accepts donations. Your contribution allows us to expand and enhance our capacity to care for patients, many of whom would go without care were it not for the Center. Please make the check payable to "Community Healthcare Center" and provide your complete name and mailing address so that we may send you a receipt for tax purposes.

Seek help eleswhere for your sciatica pain. Called the front desk complained about my sciatic nerve pain, they said come on in. So 30 painfull minutes later after I had asked my uncle to drive me there and after I got checked in I finally saw the doctor. Not my normal doctor but I was in pain and did not care since it was a walk in anyway. So she agreed I was in pain and was going to give me everything under the sun except the painkillers. Turns out this place doesnt treat pain of that magnitude. Ok, fine they dont treat pain, SHURE WISH THEY WOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT BEFORE I HAD TO GET IN AND OUT OF MY TRUCK WITH MY SCIATICA!
Communication would have saved me alot of PAIN!, trouble, time and money. Work on it yall, that was not cool. My goodness pple. Just to be clear im never in any pain. I dont even get headaches but when my back goes out because of a slipped disk( in this case I was getting a fork out of the dishwasher, bent over, grabbed the fork, stood back up [or tried] and it felt like my vertebra, in the lower back ripped open.
I could not walk due to the pain for around 10 minutes, in the kitchen. I can tell you about pain! My uncle was there to witness.4/02/2022 11:50am)and nothing eles can relieve the jolting hip splitting pain, then it's time for help. Its easy for a doctor who hasnt had sciatica to say o, just put sum ice on it and take a couple of Tylenol, pfff, they dont know what there talking about.
Ask any person with sciatica. Other than that the facility staff seamed nice enough, Lacking in empathy but full of judgment. Goodluck to you all! ***UPDATE***. April the 5th. still hurts when I cough or sneeze to hard. Nothin to see here folks, I just lurch around like everything is normal. Went to sell sum plasma. I barely got out of that bed. I cant stand up straight.***UPDATE*** Now that the pain is manageable through otc needs, acctually these guys are pretty smart and there were only doing there jobs. Thankyou pple for your time and help for past, present and future health concerns. Thankfully, im a low maintenance kinda dude. Img thxx to spineuniverse.com Thankyou.

I went to the dental facility for an abscess tooth. Everyone was professional except medical staff. The dental assistant that took my x-ray was very rude and unprofessional. Neither he nor she ever even looked inside my mouth. X- ray, antibiotics and a referral. I've been a customer of wfchcc for a long time but will no longer visit their dental facility.

I have really had it with Community Health Care. I was due for an extraction and for the 10th time they sent me home due to high bp. I was just at the Dr last week who changed my meds for the 3rd time and I'm all kinds of messed up. If something happens to me (stroke, heart attack) I want them to be held accountable. They refused to refund my money which prevents me from finding care elsewhere.
This could have been preventable but it is obvious that they just want your money while they pretend to have a clue with what is going on. My quality of life has deteriorated under the care of Community Healthcare and on top of it I have a hollowed out tooth still in my face due to Celiac Disease. Be happy that this isn't your problem but I fear all their patients are treated with a lack compassion so if you do get care at this location I assure you what is in store.

I dont know why my granddaughters name is on here. My name is Joni Honarvar. I moved here 3 to 4 yrs ago. I'm used to seeing a doctor not a nurse practitioner. I had a problem with a woman I saw. I told her that all my meds are fine, I needed refills. She changed my depression meds. I later asked her why, she came up with something like oh I thought they were not working for you.
I was mad. The past 2 to 3 months, I needed a refill on my glyburide for my type2 diabetes. They wouldn't let me do a walk in. I had to see my primary nurse practitioner or whatever her title is. So I went that long without my medicine. Now my A1C is over 11. They want me to take insulin shots. I blame them for my situation.

This Clinic has been the best experience I have had in years. I never wait longer than 20 minutes to see a doctor, nurse, or do labs/x-rays. They always take time to answer my questions and follow up quickly on my tests with the results and referrals I've needed. The care I have received here has been just as outstanding as the care I received from my doctor of 25 years before she retired in 2015.
