The service was amazing and Dr. Mihalcin was attentive and personable! He gave a thorough yet understandable diagnosis and made us feel confident we were receiving the best care! The staff was exceptional also. Our daughter went from a place of fear and anxiety to calm and optimistic. We couldn't ask for more.

Dr. C. Machado is an amazing doctor! She made me feel at ease, cared for and she listened to what I had to say. Each visit she made me feel comfortable and took her time with me to explain my individual needs. I cannot express how incredible she is! I would definitely recommend her. She definitely changed my life and I am beyond grateful I was referred to her

My daughter's pediatrician is great! It's just everyone else at this facility. Everyone seems so angry and inconvenienced all the time. A lot of people avoid eye contact and like 90% off them are never friendly. They send you to a different location in the building to update your insurance, it seems like, every other visit, even if you tell them it hasn't changed, and sometimes that line is super long. After my daughters next visit I'm finding a new family Dr. I wish I didn't because, like I said, I love the pediatrician here.

Dr Lovelace has been my doctor for several years. I always have an outstanding doctor's visit. Dr. Lovelace does an excellent job at communicating with her patients. She listens patiently to my concerns and questions. She then makes sure to answer my questions and explain what's going with my symptoms. Her caring personality, medical knowledge and professionalism inspires confidence in me that I am getting top quality care.
Her office staff is also impressive. They are a wonderfully welcoming staff, prompt and efficient with follow up paperwork; a reflection of Dr. Lovelace's leadership skills and kindness towards others. I feel very fortunate to have such an accomplished, caring and dedicated doctor. I highly recommend Dr Lovelace to my family and friends. Josie Eivins

First time visit was on the morning of February 2, 2022. I visited as a walk-in to address on going issues of congestion and continuous night coughs following contraction of COVID-19 several weeks ago. Not one individual was in the lobby, however I was told to come back and make an appointment the following day. Ok. kind of a shock, especially after their website states, "Clinic sees patients on a walk-in basis during normal clinic hours to accommodate the health needs of our patients." So I make an appointment.
I arrive to the office 10 minutes before my appointment and was sent a text message to call a number when I arrive for my appointment. So I call and was told to wait OUTSIDE in the winter cold, at sundown, by a side door until a nurse gets me. So I did. 20 minutes later no one ever came or spoke to me so I leave. Almost 30 minutes later I get a call if I was outside. really?
I think it's time to asses and evaluate your clinics practices, especially for if a future patient is disabled or cannot STAND for long periods of time. In the cold. outside.

I'm a long time VMC now Kaweah patient. What happened to good customer service. What happened to being polite, welcoming and kind? My most recent visit left me taken back. I'm thankful for the older I have gotten the more I choose to have control over my emotions. I allowed the receptionist in urgent care / workers com to speak to me with utter disrespect.
I allowed the receptionist to disrespect me just be the way she looked at me with her disgusted/irritated eyes. Verbal and no verbal disrespect took place, I knew not to speak with her about it. I went to the front desk of VMC/Kaweah requesting to file a complaint, we then tried calling the supervisor of the receptionist in urgent care/workers comp with no answer.
I requested to leave my number so the supervisor could call me back. I was told they would provide my name and number and I would receive a call. Unfortunately this did not happen. I'm my opinion this place used to be top notch in my opinion. Over the last many years, they have taken a turn for the absolute worst. My primary care provider, well let me just say, she is excellent with being on time, I very much appreciate that, however the follow up and follow through is non existent. Kaweah should hold all employee's accountable for the greatness and failures. Kaweah should provide patients with the tools to be able to manage there healthcare even when there PCP has dropped the ball.
It takes time to find a doctor, in hopes it's a good one. One who will listen and walk you through any and everything you need. It takes time and courage to speak your truth, and share all of what may or may not be going on with you. Blind trust this is, and trust is very important to most humans. Kaweah has been successful with not being trust worthy and or caring all that much.
I'm over Kaweah's provided health care providers. These providers should be held accountable and be mandated to having consistent training on how to provide the very best care to any and all. These folks are burnt out and don't care, not one little bit.

Dr Christopher Christiansen office is always on time. The staff is warm and courteous. Dr Christiansen is very thorough and explains things well. He doesn't make me feel like he is rushing the appointment and gives me time to ask questions. I feel he is on top of everything and I'm very confident in his care.

I had a great experience during my first appointment with KHMG on Ben Maddox. From the receptionist Lara and medical assistant Sue. They were very accommodating. Dr. Quackenbush has excellent interpersonal skills and empathizes with his patient. He spent sufficient time learning my medical background and explained what causes my symptoms. What I loved about this appointment was I didn't have to wait. I even get my blood work here. I will recommend this clinic to my family and relatives.

Daughter recently had a high fever, mixed with a severe headache that was cause for concern. She vomited multiple times, and then we decided to send her to urgent care. Went to the first one and they didn't have the medication that they would give her due to the pain. They recommended us going to the Ben Maddox location. When we got there, they refused to see her.
They stated that because she didn't have a Covid test, they weren't allowed to see her. What's the point of being called a an urgent care if you're not actually going to see the people hurt.

Thank you to Sequioa Prompt Care for making my experience here a memorable one! I had to come here the other day "which was a Monday", and I showed up around 8:30; they open at 8. I pulled into the parking lot and it looked full! I was already feeling "ding dang! This is going to be a wait!" But as I parked, walked up to the door it had a big "STOP" sign on the door.
It was a standard notice like all establishments so I entered, stood on a marker and waited to speak to someone. They have the service desk completely blocked off with plexiglass, the waiting room is fitted for people to sit with six feet spacing and blockings on chairs to part people from each other. They also give you the option to wait in your car.
I decided to wait in the waiting room since i was the only one! Yay! Waited around 10 minutes or less before being called back. The ladies here are very sweet! Funny, helpful! I will definitely be coming back here again! They have tv in your room where you can control what you want to watch! The facilities are brand new looking and very clean. It's nice! Give them a try if you're looking for quick care.

I used the Quick Pass online to reserve the time that, I would be coming in to get checked. The registration process was reasonably quick, and after a signature, I took a seat in the waiting room. I was called back to waiting room within about 15 minutes. A medical assistant took my vitals and some additional information then told me someone would be in to see me shortly.
A nurse practitioner came in and evaluated my problem. She recommend an X-ray that would be off site. The following morning I went and got my X-ray at around 8am, the nurse practitioner called me at 9am with results, and the next steps. I was pleased with the entire process especially the quick follow up.

Todd Quackenbush, MD is now my primary care physician. He practice is now part of Sequoia Prompt Care. I'm very impressed with him and this entire clinic. The staff is awesome too and they even do lab work on site. Dr. Quackenbush is very thorough and friendly. Very down to earth. He diagnosed me with a kidney problem that my previous Dr never even tested me for. So yes I'm very satisfied with my care at this facility.

I am so happy with this place. I've taken my toddler there twice when he was pretty sick and even though he does not cooperate for anything, the staff always is calm and patient. The main thing that I appreciate is that every visit is THOROUGH and they actually run tests, and do treatments in office instead of just giving me a vague answer and sending me out the door like other places.
I always feel at ease leaving because I know everything has been done and checked. Quick Pass online makes it easy and I don't think I waited 5 minutes in the waiting room. This place is great

Not only did I have to wait an ungodly amount of time, the staff made me feel rushed and I also did not receive the care I needed which led to a subsequent ER visit and me becoming progressively more ill. I did not feel listened to as a patient and I honestly really did not feel genuinely cared about during this visit. I would not recommend this urgent Care center to anyone looking for good medical attention. As a healthcare provider myself, I can honestly say that I was extremely disappointed.

I just had my first experience with Sequoia Prompt Care and I can't say enough about how professional and attentive their entire staff treated me. I was feeling very ill and the back staff eased my mind and made me feel that their main goal that morning was to get me well. The front office staff was friendly and very pleasant. This will now be my go to place for non-life threatening emergencies. Thank you one and all!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! The Staff is always kind and professional and I've never had to wait more than 45 minutes. I've gone here at least 7 times between myself and my elderly mother, and couldn't be happier. Thank god we have this place as an alternate to Kaweah ER. The Best place Ever!

I love Sequoia Prompt Care! They are right down the street from me which is very convenient. I wasn't feeling good at all and I told the staff my symptoms. Within 10 mins, I was seen by Dr. Kimberly Dejong who swabbed my throat and advised me I have strep. It only took 5 mins to get the results! She was very friendly and fast. Sequoia PROMPT care is the best.
So clean and professional! When they say "prompt" they mean it! You're in, you're out, you get your meds, and you're back in the comfort of your own bed. I love them! :

Wow! this place is amazing! staff is excellent and caring. You walk in and type your name on the computer to check in. from there you can check a tv screen to see approximately time you have to wait (and it usually is not long). OR you can go to their website BEFORE you even step foot into the place: http://sequoiapromptcare.com/default.html and sign up for their quick pass service- it allows you to set a certain "appointment" time to come in. anyhow, staff is great and there are plenty of friendly faces and personalities. the place is very clean! once you get into an exam room there's a tv with a direct tv remote control waiting for you. in & out should be less than an hour on a regular day!
