I've been to the ER for the same on going pain 3 or 4 times in the last 10 months. It has me in tears. Every single time, every single doctor and whoever else looked at my CT scans either missed the OBVIOUS problem and DIDNT CARE enough to even look because they treated me like I was faking it. Every. Single. Time. I finally was referred to a surgeon who saw the issue immediately.
Not one time did I feel like I was cared for, listened to, or believed. Exactly what I told the doctors and nurses what I'm experiencing is what has been happening to me. All Ive experience in my visits for this issue are eye rolls like "here is this guy who has been faking it" When i haven't! The er nurses are great I'm still in pain and need help.
I am slowing going down the right path for this now. as it seems. Resources, experience, and genuine abilities to express caring/nurturing is needed here. at least by those who are in certain positions. Your business is only as good as the people who run it. Do better. Thanks.

I would give this zero stars several times over had it not been for the fantastic nursing staff. I was seen in October 2021, severely dehydrated after taking an international vacation. I had made an appointment for the walk in clinic and was then passed off to the ER. The walk in clinic doctor was phenomenal - I forget his name, but he was excellent.
When seen in the ER I was met with the head of the ER who made several comments about my leaving the country for any reason other than "work." I was asked if I was vaccinated. I was asked if I thought it was irresponsible to take a vacation at this time. At one point the nurse was inquiring about my trip and what I had experienced and the doctor rudely interrupted and disregarded her.
The political undertones involved in my treatment were truly lawsuit worthy. The bedside manner was atrocious from the ER doctor. I left roughly 6 hours later with no idea what was wrong. I was given some fluid and low dose pain killer along with a plethora of tests - half of which I stated I did not need, but was instructed to rule things out. I did not have insurance at the time and voiced so.
I wish I could say this was the worst part of my experience - it was not. Then comes the billing department. In January I received a bill for $4700.00! The doctor was unable to identify anything wrong with me and here I was with a bill for $4700.00 for little to no treatment and zero answers. I then proceeded to apply for the financial aid. After several months of going back and forth - cooperating the whole time I was finally approved for a 20% discount.
Someone who was unemployed for months when treated and had no insurance was granted a 20% discount. During the months this was in limbo, I received several bills. Almost every time I called and checked in with the billing department to make sure nothing was going to be pursued in collections as I was still awaiting results on my financial aid. The first two calls seemed to go okay, although the staff I spoke with did not seem to have any clue what was going on.
The third call I was informed my file was lost and did not exist and I was severely past due. The staff member later proclaimed to have found it, but not after several minutes of unnecessary confusion. Finally, I received a letter granting the 20% discount on Saturday. Called the billing department on a Monday to see if there was any way to get a lump sum discount on the bill.
The staff member I spoke with was rude and cold. Implied that I was delinquently past due even after I told her I was awaiting financial aid and had finally been granted a discount. When I inquired several times over about the lump sum discount she proceeded to tell me it be best to just do payments and suddenly became my financial expert on duty. Informing me how I was better off to make payments to them with no interest vs. take a loan and/or use an INTEREST FREE credit card.
She stated she needed to speak to her supervisor about giving me a further discount, but that I needed to establish a payment plan before I got off the phone. Why would I establish a payment plan if I was awaiting to pay one total? I had to push her to reach out to her supervisor to see if we could do a lump sum payment discount - she finally did and my bill was dropped to $3000.00. Again, I was given fluid and a very low dose pain killer. Was in and out in 6 hours and NEVER received any answers as to what was wrong with me. THREE GRAND.
Out of frustration I paid it. If I never have to work with these people again I will die a happy woman. The bedside manner in house is less than par and it filters all the way down to the billing department. I will take my chances next time and drive the extra miles to be treated elsewhere. Sidney - do better. People deserve to be treated as humans and the lack of empathy and understanding all around is shameful.

Care at the Sidney Hospital ER this morning was absolutely excellent. Now this type of treatment is what I expected to have 72 hours ago after I rolled my brother-in-laws 4 wheeler and decided to go to a closer hospital's ER. Comparing the two hospitals over the last 3 days, it was well worth the drive of an extra hour + to Sidney, MT for care. So professional, friendly, competent and confident in their healthcare delivery.
There was never a question of my pain level report being untruthful or drug seeking, I was not told that I was a little crazy being a former ICU nurse, I was not called 'Mr. Crabby Pant, ' and certainly was never provided unnecessary pain through ecg lead/ electrode administration or misdiagnosis. Turns out, the 1st ER healthcare team misdiagnosed me and sent me home. Turns out, I have multiple broken ribs due to the near-fatal ATV accident.
The hospital crew was very cautious of the possibility of nosocomial infection of the Covid-19 virus and kept my wife and Service Dog a safe distance away in the car. GO GRIZ!

We are very fortunate to have Sidney Health Center in our community. My wife was admitted to the emergency room for a serious medical condition a few months ago. The expeditious and professional action of the emergency room staff mitigated the damages which she could have sustained. I was recently admitted to the hospital and received excellent care.
The medical doctor, nurses, dietary, and rehab personnel were friendly and professional and accommodated all of my needs. I left Sidney Health Center feeling much better than I did when I was admitted.

Not recommended. The clinic sent me an email to fill out for a survey. Unfortunately, by the time I went online to take it, it had expired. I have been here twice before in the past 4 years for mammograms and was just recently there to see Dr. John Carey (surgeon). My visit with the Dr. himself was a positive experience, I would say he is very knowledgeable. However, my experience with the front desk gal, the nurses' aid, and the gal (I believe a nurse) sitting at the main counter/desk in the back by the rooms, ALL left a lot to be desired. Mostly, the individual running the front reception desk (In the actual office) was the rudest lady I have come across in a while.
I don't like to leave bad reviews, but someone in charge at this clinic really needs to know this so some changes can be made. In a way, I was fortunate, I was able to choose not to utilize this facility/Dr for my surgery, as I am a self-pay patient. I went elsewhere because of the rude treatment I received. Today, I just scheduled my recent mammo order from my Dr. at a clinic in Williston, as I WILL NOT be returning to Sidney Health Center for any of my medical needs.

I had an incredible birthing experience here, I'm from out of state and grew up in a major city and had my doubts about giving birth rurally, after seeing the labor and delivery facility first hand I was very comfortable in my decision to give birth here in Sidney. Then, my experience giving birth to my son I can't express how much I fell in love with the staff here, I was so comfortable and felt so much support from my many doctors, nurses, and LVN's.

So I have been going to this ER from 0ctober of 2019 all the way up until I left this last November and they have given me so many wrong antibiotics AFTER DOING CULTURES and I now have a super bacteria that is almost impossible to treat. They don't care about what's going on with you, just what they can milk out of your insurance. Should have went to Glendive. Thanks for ruining my body

Has to be the worst hospital I have ever seen in every aspect. Not only have I been there with a blood sugar level of over 900 and not only did they do nothing but felt it necessary to tell at me. Had to drive over a hour away to get care. If you ever want a good place to go. That treats you with respect and have a doctor actually do there job. Do not go here.
I've seen Veterinarian's take better care of animals. The management here is the absolute worst. Beside manners is terrible. Only one good doctor they had left. Wouldn't go here for a hangnail

If my review was only for Dr. Ross, I would no doubt give 5 stars. She is amazing. Been through alot and she has helped me so much medically and emotionally. As for my children and boyfriend, they have not had very well experiences multiple times. Also when we were in an accident, the ER doctor did not have very well if any bedside manners. If you need an obgyn, I would definitely recommend dr. Ross, like I said she's amazing and her staff are always so kind.

I had my first baby at this hospital about one month ago and I could not be more happy with my experience. The facility was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the care that my baby, my husband, and I received was fantastic. Every person we came in contact with was totaly professional, extremely kind and incredibly helpful. This was the perfect birth experience and I would not change one thing about it.
