This hospital is incompetent in so many areas. Had blood work done over a month ago and they don't know what happened to my results or why said results were not sent. The ER is not any better.

Absolutely the worst experiences in an ER IVE EVER HAD! Unsanitary conditions to the extreme! I will never go back!

Receptionist was angry that I wasn't from New Mexico and couldn't get her information even though I had a fever of 103 at the time, was basically told we don't know whats wrong with you l, just take some Tylenol and advil (whitch I had been doing but they didn't care) nurse DID NOT WEAR GLOVES and insisted I take meds that she was holding in her gross hands, also before I left she put the thermometer in my mouth for 2 seconds and insisted I didn't have a fever anymore (I still did, and i could feel it) so I showed her on my own thermometer and asked if she could retake it but leave it in my mouth for more than 2 seconds this time she threw a hissy fit.

Also they kept a homeless guy in what looked like a room used for storing things with the lights off, I didn't think that was a very nice way to treat him. A week or so ago I ate from a one star sushi restaurant that gave me really bad food poisoning, I'd sooner recommend that place than here. I initially went there because I had a fever of 104, and I wish I'd had just gone to Albuquerque or something.

Cibola General overall has poor communication service with family members. Hepa laws are what they result back to. Unfortunately my adult children have health issues and most of the staff in my experience do not care about the situation and will not communicate with family even if we are the ones that took them there. When the patient is not capable of communication the staff need to be more verbal.

I have learned to bypass Cibola General with my son and go directly to Albuquerque. This being the first time, for this incident with this child, I brought her here. Next time I will bypass this hospital and go directly to Albuquerque. The case worker Ellen said she would stay in communication with me but she never did and left work with out the courtesy of keeping me informed.

Last month In Albuquerque I was allowed in the E.R. Waiting area with my son as well as the E. R. room. Cibola in my opinion uses the pandemic as an excuse not to allow family members in the E.R. When family members are not allowed near the patient, there is no assurance that proper care is given to a patient who is unable to advocate for themselves.

I have been there in the past where it's dirty or proper cross contamination protocols aren't followed and I have had to make sure it is ok for my family member. The bathroom in there has been horrible. Breaks my heart knowing that my loved one is back there and can't advocate for herself, possibly not getting the best care or sitting on a soiled toilet because family is not allowed to be with them to make sure everything is ok.

If your loved one needs assistance and is unable to advocate for themselves Cibola General is not the place. Lovelace downtown in Albuquerque is much better. Being the only 24hr care facility in the area I'm sure there will be times I have to come here however, I will do my very best to get into Albuquerque.

I was seen at Cibola for pain in my gallbladder. My attending nurse Angela was amazing. She was attentive and kind. She understood my fears at being in the ER and extended so much compassion towards me. It was definitely needed since no family members are allowed in. Dr. Wilkes was also amazing. She listened and was very clear in explaining each step to be taken regarding my care. I was made to feel comfortable and safe. Thank you Cibola General!

Triage team was cold hearted. Your in pain and they keep asking the se questions, like they were going to change. But once I got a bed and a nurse who's bedside manner could be thought to her coworkers. I was made comfortable. But as soon as the doctor entered. He must have trained triage nurses. He didn't have no concerns about my visit. He was more concerned with clearing the ER and he didn't even want to listen to my visit to the ER.

So I just took a shot to help with my pain. He gave me pain medicine for 2 days but wasn't able to see a primary doctor until two weeks. So I might be see him again soon. I need meds to control my pain until I could be able to see a primary doctor. So I took the book He gave me for discharge info. So I feel the visit was not even worth my pain & time and the Dr's.

So if you help with your emergency. Go to the health clinic and get the help you need. For the nurses that helped Keep up the good work and you'll be rewarded for your great work!

I had a surgery at Cibola General Hospital and was completely satisfied with my care and the treatment I received from the staff. As a retired paramedic/firefighter of 25 years, I know a good medical team when I see one and this is the best I've ever seen.

Went to the ER with my 3 babies, nurses were nice upon arrival, but when the Dr. came in to look and treat us. He made me feel uncomfortable because he had told me that it was inappropriate for me to be there and bring my kids. I went to seek help for them because of rashes that got bad. But that's what I was told, he also called my son a rascal and said" I'm sure you've been called worse" then goes on to ask my son if he likes cookies.

So my son response and says yes. Then the Doctor tells him "who taught you to speak English? Its yes please." Idk if it was because we were native. But the doctor asked a simple question if he liked cookies. He did not offer him any. Isnt your motto "Let our family Care for your family " I felt insulted and feel discriminated by Dr. Bales he is very unprofessional.

No doctor should say things like that to a kid. We speak English perfectly. also how is it inappropriate for me to take my kids to the "Hospital "? When Hospitals are there to help the people?

The doctor, nurse, and tech showed absolutely no concern, patience, or compassion for my daughter. My daughter had a knee injury and the doctor did not even examine her. He poked his head in and said the x-ray looked fine - complete arrogance and incompetence. The virtual doctor I spoke to the night before said she needed a hands-on examination due to her age and the complexity of the knee.

The entire staff was rude and disengaged. Do yourself a favor and drive to Albuquerque for care if you can. The only way I will return to this place is if I am dying. Maybe they were discriminating against my daughter because she has a weight problem. To say I am disgusted would be an understatement. I have private insurance and will end up paying most of the bill out of pocket. The only positive reviews on here are obviously from staff. I wrote a letter to the CEO got one phone call, called back twice and still no resolve on what happened.
