Services
Vienna Eye Clinic has an on-site lab and same-day service that's available on most prescriptions. Vienna Eye Clinic is not a participating provider with any insurance, but we will gladly bill for reimbursement. Contact lens fittings start at $60 for a new wearer. The cost for a contact lens fitting depends on the type of lenses prescribed by the doctor.

My dad has broken his glasses many times. The last time they'd most likely been sat on. The repairs (free) didn't last too long. Charlotte was willing to help us get him a new pair even though we couldn't bring him in. She worked with us to find a sturdy pair and had them ready in about an hour! We're so thankful. She even went above and beyond and got his name on the case and frames.

I had my annual visit with VEC last Thursday. I was greeted promptly and handled by friendly, competent and efficient support personnel and then examined by Dr. Mohr. She and Dr. Weaver have a first-rate and most professional office that makes maintenance of eye health a pleasure. They're all good people.

My 2 year old needed his first pair of Miraflex glasses. Did some research online to see what style options we had. Website stated the style I liked, NB1, was for 3-6 year olds, so I kept looking. Got to the office, they had to go to the back to bring out a plastic container of frames. Pulled out a couple pairs and just asked what we liked. I went for the rectangle frames, NB1, not knowing thats what they were.
We put them on, they seemed to fit "ok" but I'm not an eye glass specialist. I even stated "wow I didn't think he could get this style" and the tech didn't say a word. That was the only pair that was offered to us. Not much of what I would call an eyeglass "fitting." Picked up his glasses on a Thursday and was back by Monday (they are closed on the weekends) to order a smaller pair.
The tech said his pupils fit fine in the lenses. Well, the stem was about 1" past his ear, while on they folded his ears down leaving red marks and they slid down his face even with the head strap. I practically had to plead my case that he should not be in this site. The website even says so. We ended up ordering a small size, no charge. He has left them on all evening.
They fit and my son can now see and keep glasses on his face. If he would have been sized correctly the first time, he would not have had to go 8 days with a bad pair of glasses. The staff was friendly, but my fitting session was lacking. I don't know if they were in a rush to get us out of there since we showed up 1 hour before closing. I doubt I will be back due to this experience. My 2 year old doesn't have vision insurance, so we can go anywhere.
