First off I thought people with or without insurance was to be the same? Well it's not. The folks were super nice til I said NO INSURANCE! My hand and arm was red swollen throbbing but you know no insurance sit down will be right back with you. P I didn't know if I had a broke bone or what professional people would have x-rayed it I bet South Central regional medical center they stood back about 5 ft and said will give you antibiotic.
About 30 minutes later a rude guy came in handed me antibiotic in a plastic wrapper and said you're free to leave! No water, no gause no instructions for later on. When I asked if I should wrap it they all looked at me as if was supposed to raise my hand when I speak. If SCRMC ER thinks there professional kind and comforting then I'm the Pope! Most people don't know but South Central regional medical center is a training facility not a hospital and you can tell that just go in and talk to them!

Had an appointment to see the doctor to address my problem. All of the nurses are amazing. They are so patient and caring. I feel so comfortable with them. They are well trained in what they do. My doctor is awesome. I feel comfortable with the care that she gives. Wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Very good teamwork. Dr. Keith is awesome!

I am a new resident in MS and very grateful to have this CLEAN HOSP AND VERY NICE STAFF.sorry that some don't appreciate how hard the medical staff work here. I DO! My home town hosp was bigger and had a Cancer center in it. Yes there is a difference. but not in politeness and cleanliness. I say be thankful to all the Staff who work there to give you assistance for better health.

They don't tell you that they don't have a real ER. Go to Hattiesburg where there is an actual hospital. I went in with a severely broken arm. I have the most expensive health insurance available in Mississippi. They put me in a splint and sent me home with instructions to make a follow up appointment with the orthopedic. Get to see the Orthopedic on Wednesday but they can't schedule my surgery until the following Monday.
That's right! Two doctors appointments as if I am just fine to go to the office and sit with all the other patients. No one cares about how much pain you're in or that their actions are causing you suffering. I called the little number they post as a reply last week, no answer, no returned call. If you care about your family's well being and prefer to see them suffer as little as possible, find other medical care.

My dad is currently on the 3rd floor or covid unit. He has been there 2 weeks and they refuse to let us see him even though he only has pneumonia and none of us have covid. They do not care that part of recovery is being able to see your family. They won't even let my mom leave the room to go outside. My thing is if the nurses and doctors can come and go as they please and then go into my dad's room then family can too.
I don't want to hear protocol. The plain and simple truth is they are separating us and could care less about the welfare of the patient. So south Central be watching because I do not take no for an answer when it comes to my family. My dad will see his family and you will not stop it. If you want to claim protocol then start by having your nurse's who work on the floor put on mask. It's about protocol it's about control, well that's done and over. I will not stand ideally by and beg for your permission to see my family

This hospital is nothing but a joke.my mother has been here almost 2 weeks and she has been literally neglected. If Noone had been staying in the room with her she probably would of never been fed or bathed. You got some nurses that do care but most of them will make you wait 1 hour or more before attending to you or give you pain medication. Half of there equipment isn't working.
But as I currently wait for mom to be discharged I will be recording yalls service for proof of how long it takes yall to come to the room and see what my mother needs. As far as the doctors I'm not going to say they are the best but they do act concerned. To the nurses in the ER yall do a very very very poorly job and fix that mean mugging face of yours. You want people to feel comfortable in your hospital not scared.

Broke my femur and ended up at this hospital. IV bag would beep and I would call for a nurse. Or I was in excruciating pain. etc "A nurse will be right there" is what I would hear everytime. Average wait time from time I would call a nurse to time one would show up was 1HR. Sometimes I would have to wait 1hr 20m. Other times around 50 mins. I would have to ask for the bedpan to be emptied when a nurse would be ready to leave my room.
Sometimes after checking vitals they would forget to put my tray within my reach that had my essential things on it.a bunch of silly chatty younger nurses who were probably making Tik Tok videos. The surgeon was excellent as was the physical therapist, guys that would push me back and forth and the food service. Southern charm was lost when it came to the nurses. Fast food may be better suited career path for most of the ones I had to deal with. If you plan on dying, this is your place otherwise avoid it at all costs!
