Never ever did I have anything but a positive experience at Bone and Joint. The Pain Clinic is exceptionally knowledgable.

Excellent experience. From the beginning I was impressed with the friendly staff and the beautiful clinic. I was treated respectfully and promptly. I felt Dr. Halverson did an excellent exam and explained everything in a way I could easily understand. He took his time, listened to me and I never felt rushed. He gave me options, was professional and kind.

Dr Priebe along with Renee and the receptionist and the girl who put me back in the room were super! Very personable and courteous! Dr. Priebe was so down to earth and kind. He took the time to ask about my pets I was talking about. That meant the world to me! Thank you!

Dr Halverson, Danielle & Tricia are the best care team ever! Genuine caring attitudes, very good - specific post-surgical care instructions, and available for questions after the appointment. Thank you for passionately forging your healthcare careers!

I went for pain management and 7 months later I'm in more pain than when I started. Amanda Mundt wasted my time and money. She put me on pills that I've tried in the past and I told her I had bad side effects. Then lied to me saying opioids will not work on my pain even though top hospital's say different. She wasted valuable time and money.

Not helpful. I have a boldging disc in my l5 and also, root nerve s1. The doctors do not take in consideration of ur pain. I can hardly get my pain under control. Sometimes im even sent home from work because of the pain i have. Their answer is, oh we can do another injection. I will be leaving this clinic.

I have had a knee replacement and foot surgery by Bone & Joint of Wausau and the expertise and caring is second to none. Everyone there has been kind, caring and attentive to my needs at all times. Nothing but high praise to ALL involved in my care.

Highly upset with this clinic. I had high hopes. I was seen, got imaging done, on my knee. I can barely walk. stand up, do anything on my own ( I'm 25 ) I was referred to a different surgeon there from my NP that was seeing, telling me he will most likely do surgery and what not as I had Multiple issues with my knee. Drove back down the next day see him, to be told he cannot help me and wont be doing surgery.

I was offered steroid injection but told its a very short term fix but proven not to help in my case in the past. He was in the room for MAYBE 5 minutes. I got offered no additional relief. I was told they would refer me to a specialist and got a call id be seen in NOVEMBER of 2022. So I just have to wait 11 months for any answer, or relief? Again, I cant even get off the couch without help and they knew this, they saw it first hand.

But I hope they milked my insurance and got what they could. I'm very disappointed, and looking to Mayo Clinic now. I'm sure they help a lot of people, but when something is a little more complex they just don't really care.

I have had 2 surgeries with Dr Halverson in the past year on my feet. He is an amazing Dr. So caring, knowledgeable, and explains the process and procedure in great detail. I have recommended to everyone I know with foot problems and will continue to recommend him!

Excellent staff. Everyone was very caring & helpful. Dr. Thiel did a great job fixing my knee from a torn meniscus.

Treat you like family. I would only trust the professional and friendly people at Bone and Joint for my aches, pains and breaks. The physicians care about you and when you talk to anyone in registration or business office, you're made a priority as well.

It's always great going to a place where everyone from the staff at the front, to the x-ray team, nurses, MA's, and PA's to the doctor's you work with, and everyone else at Bone & Joint truly care about you as a patient. They want to do the best they can to help you with your specific needs. They also do an excellent job at educating you on your specific issue(s) and how to continue moving forward and improving.

Always have a good experience at Bone and Joint Wausau. Very Friendly and Professional. Concerned about their patients.

I wish there were more doctors like Dr Steiner. Positive and very up beat Dr. He immediately put me at ease. I hope he stays on at the clinic. It would be a huge loss if he ever left.

An overall great experience at the center. Dr. Halverson and all staff so very nice and professional. Definite people pleasers.

I am so Great full for Dr Brittney Bickelhaup an Amazing Dr have Herniated Disc with pinch nerve 2 years had Upper Dural with Steroid I FEEL AMAZING, I could cry with joy I'm so happy NO PAIN, THANK YOU THANK YOU Also the passion, kindness, I was shown by all Amazing, She's caring and explains everything, My first time here I wasn't sure about them but would recommend Dr B

I with preface this by saying I do NOT like going to the doctor. After 3 months of horrible pain in my low back, I finally relented and made an appointment with Dr. Messerly. I could barely sit, much less walk around well. He took so much time with me, and really cared about how I was doing. Even called to check in on me. We figured out a treatment plan, and I had some injections done by Dr. Steumpfig at the surgery center. Between these two fabulous doctors, I can walk and even run again. I cannot thank them enough. Fabulous care. I finally have my life back!

The first time I went to the clinic I went through the screening process. I first listened to the two front desk personnel argue with each other. I thought this was very unprofessional. I then met with the doctor (Dr. Martin). I was seeing the doctor for severe knee pain. Did X-rays. I was satisfied with his description and analysis. I then got a cortisone shot, upon getting the shot I went home and upon walking into my house I stepped on my first step and my left knee felt like someone put a tomato under my foot and squashed it.

I went back to the doctor where they did an MRI and told me that I tore the muscle above my knee cap. At which time the doctor stated that this sometimes happens with a cortisone shot. He stated that I needed to let this heal before we did anything else. I returned to the doctor 9/1/21 first appointment of the morning, upon going into the office I was wearing a face shield which seemed to upset the receptionist.

She insisted that I wear one of their masks. I informed her that the face shield was the safest because nothing can penetrate that. At no time did she offer information otherwise. I went into my doctor's appointment where a lady took information from me regarding my health concerns. Apparently you need to have a tape recorder with you so you can record the conversations.

I say this because when the doctor came into the office he proceeded to rip me a new a**hole because the lady that took my health concerns down apparently told the doctor that I blamed him for giving me the shot that tore my muscle. I only repeated to her what he had told me from a previous appointment that it was possible for the cortisone shot to cause the muscle tear.

My doctor seemed extremely upset and I felt like I was being persecuted at the doctor's office. At this point I am extremely afraid to have any further work done at this facility due to the animosity within the employees at the facility. They obviously feel that they have to get even with each other through the patients. I have had three appointments which have been a complete waste of time and money. I will be searching for a reputable facility. I feel that having any further appointments would not be in my best interest.

I have been doctoring with Dr. Stuempfig and have been very impressed with his thoroughness and concern for my lower back issues. I have been able to meet with him several times via tele-med which saves about 4 hours on the road and our in-person appointments have been very good. Highly recomended!

Honestly the professionals at Bone and Joint ARE as good as it gets! The nurses are always available for you, they call back almost always within the same day! And they care-honestly and genuinely. Even the patient advocate accounting staff are great. The front desk staff are exceptional as well. And to the heart of it, I don't know if I'd literally be here without the doctors that never gave up on me.

Just because you don't fit in another doctors "tool box" doesn't deter these doctors at all-they listen and they care just as much as a family member. I am so grateful for all of the Bone and Joint team
