Services
The founding physicians were Dr. Raymond G. Christensen and Dr. Greg Peterson. As family physicians, Dr. Christensen and Dr. Peterson provided a wide range of primary care medical services to residents of the community. Through the years, the demand for medical services continued to grow. Based upon this, additional primary care physicians were recruited to meet the health care needs of the region. The group added a number of physicians in the 1980s, during the 1990s, and more recently the past few years.
Basic hearing assessment is now included for every patient. A simple hearing screening (30-60 seconds) is part of the normal workup before you see the doctor. For patients who need a more in-depth test, comprehensive exams are provided as an extension of your complete annual physical. All of these services are included as part of the complete annual care we provide to our patients.
When you arrive, our receptionist will ask you to verify your mailing address, telephone contact information, and insurance information, along with requesting a photo I.D. This is necessary information to obtain so that we may contact you regarding your care and also to facilitate billing your insurance carrier.

I want to be clear, iv had a great experience at this clinic tell now. Iv experienced respect and professionalism for all the employees, from the front desk to the nurses and doctors. I would give them all 5 stars, so maybe giving a one star is off base and if they contact me with any sort of concern for my experience id be willing to edit this. Having said that me my wife and son parked at there covid testing line.
We had scheduled a test at a specific time, a nurse came out and immediately started the conversation with snaping at us and saying we were late! Then she asked who are you I asked how do you know im late if you dont even know who i am. She ask what we were doing here in a disrespectful tone, i explained me and my wife are here for a covid test she said why in the most disrespectful way i have experiencedin quite some time!
For the time we scheduled we were actually early. She asked my name i gave her our last name then snaps at us again saying whats your first name. I said what my first name was she snaped again saying its cold out here, as if i was a burden to her very existence and they haven't invented jackets yet, as she was only wearing a long sleeve shirt. She asked what my wifes first name was and i gave it to her.
She then whent back in side and came back out again expressing its cold and asking why i was there, again expressing that we were there for a covid test and how we were late and didn't have our names down. We discovered that unfortunately we were at the wrong building. I apologized for the confusion and asked her to try to be more considerate it was an honest mistake considering there is testing in multiple buildings in the same parking lot.
She snapped at us again stating it was cold as if i control the weather. I asked her to try to treat people with more kindness and she told me well next time get your stuff straight. I told her please dont treat people this way its totally unnecessary people are going threw enough allready. To the lady that had no consideration and no professionalism please dont come to work if you dont want to b there and if your cold i will buy you a jacket have a nice day even if you ruined half of ours.

Went into walk-in care and saw Dr. Thiessen regarding a sore throat. While there I was asked if I wanted vaccines while I declined and he continued to pressure me and get defensive about it. This made me very uncomfortable. I would not recommend anyone seeing Dr. Thiessen if you believe in medical freedom

I have always had good experiences with my doctor and nurses until I had an over the phone appointment with Nate Gilbertson in January. I have had a persistent cough since September and as I answered his questions (Living situation, if I'm a smoker, etc.) he preached to me about quitting smoking (Which is a given) but then tells me that if my boyfriend doesn't quit too then he's not worth being with and that where I live is not acceptable and I need toove.
My question is.is he going to pay for me to live somewhere that he approves? And how dare he say that my boyfriend isn't worth being with if he doesn't quit smoking. Needless to say by the end of the phone call I was in tears! So I am more than disappointed and disgusted with my last visit.

I love this clinic, as well as the Sandstone and Hinckley locations. Dr. Brandli has been my doctor since I moved to MN and has gone to bat for me. The facilities run smoothly and efficiently, and the staff are excellent and compassionate. My doctor's nurse, Tina, answers my call requests quickly, as well. I love the Gateway Family Clinics.

This clinic is not a good one to go to. My family member went to go see Dr. Rice at this clinic and he did not do anything for him. My family member possibly has a broken rib, broken hip, concussion, or unknown internal injuries from his motor vehicle accident. He was thrown 30 feet from his 4-wheeler, possibly rolled with it where it landed on him (he has no recollection), hit the ground, passed out, lay there all night by himself in the cold.
He refused to go to the ER or urgent care due to possible expensive bills with insurance not covering this type of accident. Finally he went in to the clinic to our relief and the doctor did not give him x-rays or even pain meds. Saying ibuprofen is good enough for broken ribs. Instead he got a bill for $110 for nothing. I don't feel he recieved proper care at this clinic and would recommend others go elsewhere if you're able to.
