We specialize in fitting contact lenses. Pride is taken in providing a proper fit for those patients who have failed with contacts in the past.Dr. Lerner can fit you with daily or flex wear contacts, including bifocals, astigmatic, and tinted lenses, including one day contacts that you never have to clean. Dr. Lerner also provides medical treatment for most eye infections, injuries, and irritations, including conjunctivitis, removal of corneal foreign bodies, allergic problems, and diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.

Dr. Lerner can help patients with diagnosis and treatment of eye injuries, infections and diseases including, but not limited to, conjunctivitis (pink eye), abrasions, eyelid problems, infections, allergy problems, removal of superficial foreign particles, cataract management, and glaucoma treatment and management.

We fit both soft and rigid lenses for daily and extended wear. They can correct your astigmatism, change your eye color, and eliminate the need for bifocals. Dr. Lerner is extremely thorough and has been wonderful for my whole family. Here are the facts: 1. Prior to seeing Dr. Lerner, we went to My Eye Doctor. I needed progressives and after 3 attempts, My Eye Doctor still didn't get the prescription right and my insurance would not cover any more changes. Dr. Lerner got it right the first time and it is WONDERFUL to be able to use progressives. 2. Dr. Lerner identified an issue with my 8 yr old that My Eye Doctor did not identify, he sent us to see a specialist and thank goodness, with eye exercises we hope to avoid surgery because it was caught in time. 3.
It is hard to find an appt for my 16 yr old with his busy schedule. Dr. Lerner worked with us to fit him in and got him done within 45 minutes! 4. My father went to see Dr. Lerner through my recommendation and even though he is 79 yrs old, he said he never had an eye exam that was so thorough. I know some people complain about how they have to wait, but you know when he is giving you an eye exam, he is taking the time you deserve to do a great job and do it right.
He is not rushing you through the appt just to stay on schedule like other places do. Bottom line, if you want a thorough eye exam, see Dr. Lerner. If you have to wait a little, aren't your eyes worth it?

Terrible service! He is more than snarky and disrespectful, I have no clue where these positive reviews came from but they are far from accurate. Aside from etiquette with guest he also lacks modern frames. I called weeks ago and he said he was getting ray bans now he said not until June. If I could give him no stars I would.

Dr Lerner is the most amazing optometrist! He is a very thorough and comprehensive eye doctor. I have complete confidence in his ability to help me keep my eyes healthy and providing the best prescription for my glasses. He takes his time with each patient, so expect to be at the office for at least an hour. Believe me it is well worth the time. The time to get your glasses can vary based on the lab used. Dr Lerner's labs are the quickest, as soon as a week, but insurance company labs can take several weeks or more.

Dr. Lerner is an excellent optometrist. I would not trust my eyes with anyone else. I have seen news shows on what to look for in a good optometrist and Dr. Lerner not only meets the criteria but far exceeds it. I have some medical issues that make my eyes extra sensitive as well as being extra sensitive to how glasses fit, and Dr. Lerner has the patience to work with me to be sure that everything is right for me.
Expect to be there quite a while, but that is because his exams are quite thorough which after all is what we want for our precious sight. Getting glasses from the lab can vary in time, but that is out of his hands, it has to do with what is going on in whatever lab. Yes, I spend a long visit when I see Dr. Lerner, but it is time well spent for sure!

Dr. Lerner is a ROCK STAR inside the exam room. No other doctor has given me such a crystal-clear accurate lens prescription. His examinations are thorough, unrushed, and he explains everything in an easy-to-understand fashion. Dr. Lerner personally and quickly returns phone calls, and is always willing to 'squeeze' you in if it's an emergency or if he has a cancellation.
