I've been going to Columbia Memorial Hospital for many many years now and it just keeps getting better. It seems like every time I visit they've added something new to improve their patients experience there. I absolutely love the nurses in the cardio department and they have the best and friendliest, non-bruise leaving phlebotomists I've ever had draw my blood . The check-in AIDS at Columbia Memorial are pretty awesome also; very helpful, quick and friendly..

I've never been here before, but I thought I should make a comment here, since this place has called me recently asking for a man by the name of Daniel Lunsford (or someone with a similar sounding last name, as I do not know how to spell it) to call them back. I do not know this man, and previously, Commercial Adjustment Co. also called me asking for this man.

I know it's not the fault of the people working here, but perhaps checking to see if this man truly owns the phone number he is using would be nice, as I don't feel like getting spammed with phone numbers again because some guy used my number.

I took my Granddaughter to this Hospital last night for a severe sore throat. The Dr. took a sample from her throat so we were waiting for a long time and I was getting anxious so I asked the nurse Evan, how much longer as it seemed like hours. I went back into the room and he came to the door and told me exactly how long it's been to the second!

I said it sure is taking aong time and he replied, "this is not a prison and you're welcome to leave anytime you want!" That was a very rude statement and I don't appreciate being talked down to! People who are serving sick and, or upset need to be compassionate not condescending. I thought both statements were rude and totally uncalled for! Very upset about him and will not let him be our nurse ever again!

I had a total hip replacement surgery at CMH. I cannot say enough of the wonderful care that they provided. Everyone, from surgeon (dr. Abbott) all the way down to housekeeping, took awesome care of me (and family members). My daytime RN, Brook, took outstanding care of me. So did ALL of the other staff. I will be having other surgery and all will be done at Columbia Memorial Hospital! Thank you for this gem of a hospital in the PNW!

I'm 71 y.o., so I've been around the block over the years - I've had good, bad, OK and superior depending on who, what, when and where. With Columbia I can easily say - SUPERIOR. I have only once had such immediate, positive response when I make an inquiry with my primary. My last minor invasive surgical procedure, in December - I received a Thank You card signed by everyone in the O.R. Blew me away. Had a hip replaced a year ago - again, great care - multiple meetings leading up to the surgery, much concern about both my physical and mental well-being.

Surgery went off without a hitch - thorough physical therapy follow-up. Also repeated follow-up with the surgery team. Their goal - make sure I had a successful and positive surgical experience. Well done Columbia - my absolute 'go to' medical care facility. Again, I want to thank my primary - I have only had one other primary in my life that was so thorough, responsive and fast acting, with my care and needs.

ER Visit. Although business was slow, I was left in an unbearable state of pain in examining room for hours, literally forgotten. Nurse was supposed to return with pain shot and never showed. Granddaughter helped me get dressed go home, as I couldn't stand any more. Hope to God I never have to go through anything like that ever again.

Recently in 2021 my mother ended up going to this hospital due to health problem and i was told she only had 6 months to live and after a while the hospital sent her home multiple time she had to go back so many times and when she went to the hospital she ended up getting covid 19 while she was inside the hospital and after a while she passed away less in one month. worst experience i had here.

Jami in dietary/the cafeteria truly is a gem at this hospital. There has never been a day where she wasn't in an uplifting mood with anyone around her, and I've been coming here frequently! Even better, she's truly and genuinely loves her job; I just overheard her mention so to another guest. It doesn't matter what title anyone holds, everyone is warmly greeted and treated just as much. PLEASE give her a raise. Folks like her lift staff morale significantly; she's irreplaceable to CMH.

The doctors at this place are religious bigots. They employ anti science faith based medical "professionals" who advise against mask wearing and covid vaccines. They employ faith based doctors who refuse women the right to a safe abortion if they need one. Being a doctor is not about serving people based on your political or religious beliefs. It's about practicing medicine based on SCIENCE.

Not to mention several of the nurses there were constantly out partying and being unsafe (and posting it on social media) during the first part of the pandemic when the vaccine wasn't even available yet which puts the life of vulnerable patients at risk. This place is a joke and many of the people there should be stripped of their licenses.period.

The ER staff (Dennis) took me in, listened to me and swiftly ran tests. By the morning I was in surgery with Dr. Moore and released the same day. I can't thank the staff enough for their efficiency, care, humor and professionalism. I tried to remember as many people as I could, Dennis, Sarah, Laura, Anne, Fayth, these are just some of the angels who because of them, my family and I will have a Merry Christmas.

They truly are the absolute best team I've ever had. No bones about it! They explain everything in detail before and after procedures, answer ALL of my concerns, always taking the best care of me. I wouldn't change them for the world. Hats off to this team for my care. I came from Kansas City and nothing compares to them. Nothing. Great care in KC, but not like this. I'm their number one fan!

Don't get me wrong.the rest of tjhe staff were great extremely attentive nurses and great food. But if I ever go back I would insist on a different md so this review is for the hospital itself.

Unfortunately, I visited the ER at CMH three times at the end of last month and beginning of this month and I was extremely impressed with the competence, knowledge and caring of three differrent teams. They included Dr. Donnelly, Nurse Evan, Dr. Kechter, Nurse Practitioner Cristin, Nurse Mike and Nurse Mel. They were all thorough, professional, and humane. It seemed like big city medicine in our small town.

I really appreciate the support that I have received from CMH. The receptionists are always organized and efficient. Cardiology tries very hard to meet my needs. The lab is efficient. For a small hospital Columbia Memorial Hospital is superb.

4 hours in the ER. 3 nurses stuck me 2 times each & couldn't draw blood or get IV in. Dr finally came in & used a sonogram to find a vein. Arms are bruised everywhere (this all took an hour+). I came in with lower abdominal pain. They did an ekg (why?)sent home, told to use heat & take tylenol. No return call after I left a message. Still in pain!

The response from the hospital below with a phone number to call.never got a return call either. The lack of patient care and follow up are non existent. Drive to Providence in Seaside, it has to be better than this.

I've been here a few times with better people that seem to enjoy helping their patients. It's the only hospital on the coast that is a step up from that sorry excuse of a disaster called a hospital on the peninsula! Every time I've come to Columbia, they've had better experience and expertise on my health issues. Far from great respectively, but much better than Ocean Beach!

The staff always manages to find my deep, embedded veins, first try; which can be found even without the machine. That tells me a great deal about an experience level in the medical profession. 4/5 from me.

All I can say is -- GET THE EXPECTED CHARGES IN WRITING before agreeing to an appointment here. Tracie B. in physical therapy was great, and this review should not reflect badly on her. She really helped my shoulder in just 5 appointments. But I'm still getting over the sticker shock. The price charged for these 5 appointments knocked me over. The folks in billing were very nice, but they are not responsible for setting the prices.

The men that work in the radiology department clearly hate their jobs and have no desire to learn appropriate bedside manner. I've worked in the healthcare field for over 15 years, and I've never seen such a clear disregard for a patient's comfort or concerns. I was seen in the ER and needed a CT Scan. The Tech wheeled me from the ER to the radiology department for my scan.

He didn't even bother to say "hi, " just wheeled the chair to my bed and said nothing. I got up to transfer into the wheelchair and my gown wasn't fully closed. I asked for a minute or help to tie the gown and he told me "it's fine, " even though it was open. He then propelled my wheelchair through the hospital and through waiting areas with people, while I tried to cover myself with my gown and feel decent. During the CT scan, he said practically nothing. After, he wheeled me back to the ER room and left me in front of the room door, said nothing, and walked away.

Been here for over 2 hours and haven't even been seen yet. Probably would go faster if all 6 nurses weren't standing around talking about double air line points and Safeway rewards points. This is the second time in 3 days that I'm here. Update 3 hours now and still nobody. If you are hurting or are able you should go to the hospital in seaside. The time it takes to drive is shorter than the time it takes to get seen.

My mom was admitted and I only got to visit her for a couple of days, but all of the staff were wonderful and really took care of her. Every single nurse that I've seen with her were absolutely wonderful, but Maria was with her the most when I was there and she was so much fun and kind which is so helpful to my mom's recovery. Only downside is the gift shop was closed every time I went during the morning and in the late afternoon. But other than that great care for my mom.

Best hospital around. we bypass the Ilwaco hospital in favor of Columbia Memorial. Best Drs & Nurses around. the ER is no place to be on a holiday, if you need them, they are here & they are knowledgeable. when Son was mis-diagnosed in Ilwaco, these Drs saved his life. they KNEW what what a Potts Puffy Tumor was.

This review is for CMH Urgent Care's Warrenton location. Went in for a severe case of Montezuma's Revenge acquired from the hotel we stayed at in Mexico. While the lady at check-in was fantastic and made great suggestions about paying cash, I was extraordinarily disappointed at a few key things: 1) Zero focus on patient privacy. While other patients were just a few feet away, I was expected to start giving her specifics about my symptoms, private data, etc. 2) While we were in the waiting room, I could hear the woman at the front desk in Primary Care on the other side of the room loudly speaking on the phone about my file.

My name came up at least four times I could be clearly heard from across the room as she discussed it with someone else on the phone at another location. 3) Someone please explain to me why they need to weigh me with all of my clothes and shoes and purse on for this type of diagnosis. 4) Someone please explain to me why I fill out all the details in writing and then have to repeat everything all over again to the PA who hasn't taken 2 minutes to go over it. 5) The doctor who, while nice enough, saw me literally spent less than two minutes in the room with me.

She ask me no questions (even though there are multiple kinds of Montezuma's revenge causes - bacterial and protozoa), literally just listened to me breathe because as she said, it was required, and said she would write a prescription and have it called in for antibiotics. 2 minutes. 6) Total cash price for this appointment including the 20% discount? $342 not including the $18 charged for three antibiotic pills. Considering the average Nationwide price for Urgent Care is around $125, this price for such little service is nauseating to put it mildly.

Those of us who cannot afford to pay $650/mo for health insurance are getting repeatedly violated by asinine charges like this. It's one thing if you spent 15 minutes with me and actually talk to me but to literally listen to me breathe in and out twice and write a prescription? Total BS.

I went in this morning with chest pains. Didnt understand what was wrong and was afraid. All the staff at the hospital were professional, polite, friendly and kept me updated on all my tests and why they were taking them. The doctor was extremely informative and knowledgeable and took the time to call my pcp and the cardiac dept on my behalf. I had full trust in each and every person that took care of me. Thank you all for what you do! Your a great team

It was unexpected, and I don't remember being brought in to ER. I wonder if I was brought in with lights, siren or both. Yea I was that out of it. I was well taken care of by the Hospitalist, and nursing staff. After 10 hours on oxygen I could actually be coherent. Pneumonia dropped my oxygen level to 70.my calls were answered promptly, food brought within 15 minutes of ordering.a person could get use to that. hubby said spa resorts are cheaper. My visit was just overnight, but once I start getting bills and pass out again I might be back. I wonder if I'll get a discount?

I have been having Physical Therapy at the Columbia Memorial Hospital facility with Tracie Nygaard Brockey. I had rotator cuff surgery and was sent here. Tracie is very professional, explains how my my muscles in my shoulder should work and gives me exercises to make this happen. She also gave me lots of exercises to do at home. I was really impressed with how she used the internet to send me information on my exercises. I would highly recommend her.

I just went here to get a refill of an antidepressant and was refused at the door because I didn't have the bottle with me. I said fine, can I see a doctor to get a referral to behavioral health and she said no they don't do that at urgent care. I would have to make an appointment with primary care and the wait list is 2 months. I explained to her that I am in withdrawal from the antidepressant.

She said a doctor wouldn't prescribe me anything because they don't know what I'm taking. I have worked in healthcare for 10 years and have never come up against such an incompetent staff or office.
