There's probably handful of staff there worth anything. It starts from the CEO to housekeeping. The CEO is pathetic, you never can speak to him about any matter. He's either "not there" nor will he return phone calls. I have made several attempts to get ahold of him from calling to leaving messages and going in person. I truly believe if they had listen to me and done as I requested that my mother would still be alive. The ER doctor had to be the most lazy and sorry doctor I had ever met. If you need quality care or more advanced care, get your butt out Buchanan General Hospital.

Let me tell you people in Buchanan County how lucky you are to have such a good facility. I call on hospitals for a major pharmaceutical company and was surprised how nice and modern a facility BGH is. I have never met your CEO, however I am sure he gets little sleep trying to keep you people well, yet you still complain. I am sure you have no idea how difficult it is to run a rural hospital in an area where the economy is terrible and there is so much poverty. Make sure you thank him for the work he puts in and be thankful he decided to come to Buchanan County.

Went in with Pneumonia, Robin was my Nurse and she was phenomenal! Thank you Robin. A true caring, kind, compassionate soul! We we're in and out in about 4 hrs, with bloodwork and exrays. Very impressive! Thanks again!

They almost let my kids dad die he was having 4 strokes back to back they did nothing. There is Cock roaches everywhere.needles in ER floor putting ppl with STDs in same room as children. Worst befsibe manner wrong dianosidi and it gets worse I don't recommend this place unless u want to die pls get help at another hospital. Bathrooms are nasty as well

This hospital has always provided great care to my family! It made a life and death difference when my uncle had a stroke! We are lucky to have a great hospital in our hometown!

All the members of my family have been patients here and received some of the best care possible. Through the years we have had services performed by many different departments and have been pleased with all of these services. They treat you as family and offer you the same care as they would their own family.

Avoid if possible, worst hospital experience. Run don't walk. They file judgements against you and ask questions later, even if it is paid off years before. I have been trying to clear credit up from them for years, this is the only problem I have ever had with any creditor in my life. This was almost 10 years ago, and they continue to fill judgements, I haven't heard anything from them in over 6 years.

I wonder if this is a angle they use, get you in when you have no other choice and then never let you off the hook. I have never left a review this negative, if you are having the same trouble, I feel for you.

Two horrible experiences.my first visit I was told I had cancer, they transported me to another hospital. It was a fractured spine. NOT CANCER. Second visit. I sit for five hours in agonizing pain from back issue.was offered nothing for pain.not interest in helping me yet the couple in the bed beside of me, yes couple, both admitted to ER. One of them for a head ache the other for a tooth ache, are offered pain meds within five minutes of their arrival. Needless to say I will NEVER make the mistake again of going to BGH.
