I was put through patient intake 4/25/22 wound up badly mistreated and have pictures of bruises to prove it. No matter why you are being seen at a hospital you should feel safe and respected I didn't feel and currently don't feel safe here at all.

What a joke. The front desk staff was the best care I received over the few hours that I was there. I took myself in because I was having some intense pain that was unexplainable to me. The nurse had terrible bedside manners and I had to ask what she was doing multiple times. I explained my symptoms and she jumped right to covid. Long story short, they 100% missed something while jumping to covid, I felt unsafe and unheard.

I was left alone for over 30 minutes while I was bawling in pain and the monitor was going off. I never received any sort of fluids, pain management, options for any of that or even a "I know something hurts, but you'll be okay".There will definitely be an official complaint.

I have come to this facility several times for critical bee stings, they will allow anyone claiming to have familial relations into the room including abusive memeber's of the family; you specifically don't want there. I came here with my significant other with a broken hand and they wouldn't let me come into the room with him even though though my abusive stepfather was allowed in the room while I was dying. Absolutely absurd. No concept of who if important to the patient and who is not. CLEAR CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP

Had a super bizarre accident that landed me in the ER today and required several stitches. The entire ER team was very professional, kind, and even though my situation wasn't even close to life threatening, they took care of me very quickly. I only wish I had been better about remembering names to thank those that provided direct care. Thank you for taking good care of me today!

Lack of balanced approach to the the needs of your community. I was born and raised here and have watched the town grow exponentially since I was small. While it is beautiful and on one side is all about being active and healthy, on the flip side, steamboat also suffers from high rates of alcoholism, drug use, depression and suicide. I am truly disappointed to discover how ill equipped our hospital is to deal with mental health and substance abuse.

We preach about loving our community yet we remain completely unprepared to appropriately care for and respond to the mental health needs of our community. Please YVMC, find a better balance between treating mind and body.

I fractured my tibia skiing at Steamboat and was transferred to the ER. I received excellent care throughout my surgery and recovery. Dr. Michael Sisk and his staff were very professional and knew exactly what to do. I left with instructions for wound care and medication to help with the pain. Highly recommend!

Unprofessional. Billing department is a joke. STAY AWAY. SCAM. Went to emergency room over 2 years ago. They have all my personal information and insurance information. After over 2 years I received a printed letter for a collecting agency trying to colect some money from me! I mean, 2 and half year past. UChealth never tried to contact me over the phone (I provided 3 different number) neither a printed bill, printed communication either to my home or office address. Is that the way you guys try to make extra money? Billing my is insurance incorrectly then send the outstanding balance straight to a collection agency?

You guys are ridiculous. Also, in the visit, which was related to a fracture in my ankle, the first "professional" was ready to take me to a surgery right away, when suddenly another orthopedic doctor stopped him and said I'm my case surgery was not recommended. Seriously. Unprofessional, non sense.

Hiking accident followed by an ER visit, surgery the following day and another (unrelated) ER visit two days later. All the staff were knowledgable, professional and compassionate. Considering the circumstances, we consider ourselves fortunate to have been taken care of by the people at UCHealth YVMC.

Amazing hospital. I had extreme vomiting and nausea episodes that had me not able to keep down food or water for 5 days: The ER was great. So was the hospital when they admitted me. I want to thank Dr Wilkinson, Dr Lila Powers, and most of all Dr Mysha Mason. They were beyond compassionate, caring and efficient. They took the best care of me. The nurses were also amazing! Erin, Lynn, Tara and Amanda were so sweet and helpful! It was the best experience I've ever had in a hospital. They went to the moon and back for me. Im truly so thankful
