My daughter and I have been patients here for several years and the staff has always been welcoming. However, today my daughter went to pickup contacts and felt very unwelcomed! She was not greeted when she entered and felt racially discriminated against. I'm not a person that normally does reviews but this behavior cannot go unrecognized!

Great service, great health care and great bedside manner. From start to finish.reception, triage, doctor, to check out and orders. I don't live or work early here anymore. But it's honestly a pleasure going here. I enjoy my yearly visit and the doctor is very engaging about discussing my eye health and showing me the pictures and diagnostics of my eye.

More then just looks. See ya next year. I am selective about my healthcare because I believe it should not be rushed and should always include education. They go above and beyond and I have never spent even a minute in the waiting room. So that means they value my time too. They do not rush me through appts to keep on schedule. I think they just run a tight ship, well staffed and organized. Highly recommend

Dr. Ippolito is excellent. He clearly explains what he is monitoring with regard to the health of the eyes and has, what appears to be, the "latest and greatest" technology for examination and prescription. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, and the facility is clean and up-to-date, with a wide selection of frame styles.

It's time for my annual and wanted to leave a well deserving review. I've been to a few eye docs before finding Dr Ippolito 6 or 7 years ago, and this is where I stopped my search for the right one! The staff is pleasurable to work with, and Doc's knowledge, patience, and willingness to explain every detail about the health of your eyes is more than enthusiastic. I know I'm in the best care here, and that's all you can ask for from your Doc.

My family and I have relied upon Dr. Ippolito and Ippolito Eye Care for many years. Without exception, Dr. Ippolito and his staff are attentive, skilled, patient, and trustworthy. The vision exam and on-site testing are comprehensive and precise, and are modeled to address the health needs or concerns of the patient. Store eyewear selection is broad and stylish, and pricing is fair and competitive. We are grateful and fortunate to have such a reliable and comprehensive healthcare resource in our own neighborhood.

The best and nicest Eye doctor and staff I have ever been to by far, not only the best Eye doctor but the best doctor of any specialty that I have ever seen. I have known him and his staff and been going to them for almost 20 years from my 1st pair of glasses in the 3rd grade. He just got work done on his office and his equipment is state of the art.

I had tried other eye doctors because my new insurance wasn't covered and I moved but the quality of care and everything was so much worse with the other offices, they skipped tests Dr. Ippolito does and all they care about is how much more money they can squeeze out of you while Dr. Ippolito and his staff have the best skill and their biggest concern is for their patients and the prices are lower than the other doctors I've visited.

My entire family has gone to him starting with me and I just wish I could find a Physician, dentist and full medical team exactly like Dr. Ippolito so that I would truly feel like I could trust their knowledge and that they are absolutely making the best decisions for my health as well as being as thorough as possible. As long as he is practicing, I will be his patient.

After many years with the same pediatric eye practice I had to find a new optometrist for my 12-year-old daughter. After researching providers on our VSP plan made an appointment with Dr. Ippolito and it was a very positive experience all around. He took the time to explain things to us in layman's terms and was very straightforward and patient in answering our questions. Staff was friendly, equipment was state-of-the-art and my daughter was happy to have a large selection of kids glasses to choose from. Would recommend this practice.

I went today for the first time and had a great experience! My prior eye doctor didn't have half of the equipment Dr. Ippolito had and he was able to correct the issue of my old glasses and contacts immediately. I got new glasses from them as well and was able to pick them up two hours after my appointment.

Excellent doctor and staff, and exemplary customer service experience. I purchased a pair of glasses and after getting them home and wearing them once it became obvious the frames were not a good fit for my face -- even after numerous trips back for frame adjustments they were still unwearable. Staff very accommodating and worked with me to select a new pair and replace the old glasses with no hassle. Highly recommend this practice/office.

Amazing eye exam experience. Never thought I'd say that sentence. Super friendly staff, very easy to make an appointment online, quick check in. Dr. Ippolito explained everything, and in human speak so I understood it all. Oh and they have the latest tech there to test eyes, it was actually pretty awesome. Think my only complaint (not really) was that I saw a NY Rangers background on a computer and I'm a NJ Devils fan :).

It turns out that it was a misunderstanding between Insurance, and today We finally got our appointment. Dr John was great, very nice guy, very kind, and his staff very professionals as well. it was a plus that the variety with frames and lenses it is pretty good. His equipment it is very sophisticated and update. We were very satisfied with the service and of curse we will recommend this place.!.

Dr Ippolito and office staff are awesome. In addition to being a great doctor he is extremely patient and takes the time to make sure you understand everything. The office staff is truly great as well and accommodating. An example I experienced was last year I was due to be flying out of the country and woke up with a swollen eye and blurred vision- the staff was able to squeeze me in that day before my trip which as you can imagine prevented me from having to go to the hospital and also relieved me that it was nothing serious. (turned out to be an eye infection). Needless to say I was very thankful the office fit me in and seeing Dr. Ippolito. Thanks to all.

Great place! Customer service is outstanding, along with Dr. Ippolito. Everyone takes their time with you to ensure you understand everything. Very happy that I made the choice on coming here, and I will return for all my eye needs.

Dr Ippolito is extremely polite and professional which makes this review a little hard to write. I had an appointment to get my annual review since I've been suffering from blurred vision probably due to being overworked and staring at a computer for 9-10 hours a day. I forgot about my appointment due to a super busy schedule and crucial deadlines at work.

Completely my mistake not the Dr. The problem is my entire family visits Dr Ippolito because we have a great deal of respect for his acumen and amiability. However, my wife brought our daughter in for a checkup since she's been having blurred vision and painful headaches. The office manager went ahead and cancelled her appointment without notice and blamed my wife and child for my mistake.

She was extremely rude and careless to the needs of my kid using my mistake against her. I would gladly pay a fee since I made the mistake but I can't understand why she was so combative and rude. Unfortunately, we are now forced to look elsewhere for eyecare. If you're lucky, don't cross path with this person, Unfortunately for Mr Ippolito this is his wife and he can't get rid of her.

If you want to see how customer service should be handled, this is it. Dr I is so friendly competent and with all of the cool tools to make your exam great. Glasses are reasonably priced and adjustments, minor breaks scratches are always handled with a smile and free. These guys are just great and the selection of frames super.

Excellent care and service. Everyone in my family has been here and we all feel the same, very comfortable office, caring staff and Dr. John is simply a terrific person as well as knowledgable.

We had a great experience here! He is friendly and I never felt rushed. He was excellent with our kids 6 & 8 and helped them really feel at ease for their first eye exams. We are very happy to have found Ippolito Eye Care.

I must say, this is probably the greatest service I have ever received from any business. I had spent the better part of a month getting my broken eyeglasses repaired. After going to a certain "Towne" vision center in New Providence, I certainly didn't have high hopes. Ippolito's fortunately a breath of fresh air. My glasses were fixed within 2 hours as opposed to 5 days without looking at them. *cough* Towne Vision *cough* These people have a new customer

Fantastic customer service, great selection of frames and a friendly, knowledgable staff. What impresses me the most is their customer service: they're proactive reaching out about store hours, unexpected closings (ex. due to snow, etc.), appts, etc. It's that extra mile that makes all the difference. Highly recommend.

I made an appointment here a few years ago in kind of an emergency situation, and whenever I think back to my experience, I always have a good feeling. The doctor was incredibly caring, helpful and concerned about my situation, and I absolutely felt like I received the highest quality of care in the short time I was a patient. I ended up needing to see a specialist, but if I ever need an optometrist again, this is surely where I will go. It's also worth mentioning that the office itself is gorgeous; probably the most well-appointed and attractive offices I've been in!

We've been patients of Dr. John's since he opened his practice. He's the best! He's so knowledgeable and performs the most thorough exam. They have a beautiful office with a great staff! They have the best selection of designer frames. They also have discounted frames to work within your budget. Deanna is always ready to help me pick out the best frame for my face; Great office, great Doctor, great location.

Excellent. Convenient Courteous staff. Efficient. Glasses were ready in 1 hour. Staff was helpful in assisting me with navigating my insurance benefits so I knew my out-of-pocket costs up front.

Dr. Ippolito is simply one of the best in the business. Him and his staff are very friendly and charismatic, and while professional they make you feel very welcome and comfortable in their office. There's a very wide selection of glasses frames, sunglasses, and contacts to discuss and choose from. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the different types of frames, lenses, and contacts and don't sound bothered at all by your questions. I would not hesitate recommending Ippolito Eye Care to everyone I know.
