Traveled from VA to NC for Juvederm Voluma, as Dr. Buchanan is an expert with Voluma, and I am so glad I decided to make the trip. 1) because Highlands, NC is gorgeous and I plan on going back to further explore the area and 2) because Dr. Buchanan and staff were so lovely. Dr. Buchanan was very worried about swelling, which I assured him I swelled more after receiving Radiesse in the past.

I went to Dr Buchanan as my lower eye skin had become loose and unattractive to me. After the first surgery the right side of my left eye was closed too tightly and the left side of the same eye was so loose you could see the eye "rim". He agreed he needed to repair his damage which he did at no charge. I still have the exact same puffy issues I had before my surgery and both sides of the left eye have not been completely repaired so the left side is still tight and the right too loose. He's a very nice man and his staff could not be any nicer or more helpful but he just needs to retire.

My results are great and I even drove around the Highlands taking pictures immediately after getting the filler, as you couldn't really tell I had anything done. I hope the results last long, but I would definitely not mind taking a trip back to see Dr. Buchanan and staff.

I have been a patient for many years. Dr. Buchanan is knowledgeable and experienced in aesthetics and takes time to discuss thoroughly any questions you may have. He promotes skin care and and sun protection. He carries many professional skin care lines as well as Jane Iredel cosmetics and Clarisonic. The staff is always professional and knowledgeable yet personal.
