Sports medicine applies to both athletes and people with jobs or even hobbies that require movement.
We offer a wide range of therapies and treatments to manage all types of joint and muscle injuries. Regardless of age or lifestyle, Carolina Sports Medicine is capable of improving your bone, joint, or muscle pain with the least possible amount of discomfort. We evaluate and treat Workers Compensation injuries with an emphasis on returning to work.
Total Knee Replacement (TKA) is also performed under anesthesia. In this procedure, the doctor removes damaged cartilage and replaces it with a prosthetic joint. Afterward, the patient will experience increased mobility and resolution of pain. We are now able to provide outpatient total knee replacement procedures for eligible patients.

I love this office. My husband and I have had to go multiple times for different body parts and they have always taken care of us. Messina and Fitzgerald are great and very attentive. They aren't pushy at all. The manager Adam though is the best. We does it all so we have seen him on many visits and we love him.

Fantastic professionalism and attention to detail. Very welcoming staff and the x-ray technician was very nice and gave specific directions about the x-rays taken for both knees. The PA is quite personable and attentive to my needs. He answered all of my questions and spoke to my concerns. Overall a great experience!

Just saw Shawn today for my knee. He has been great helping me with both knees. He has been great with the shots. Have relief quickly. Saw Doc Messina for my neck a few weeks ago and my back several years ago. Can take an appointment with either and know I am getting top care! Also Adam has been wonderful as well as Valarie the Doc assistants. Shout to the front desk people too. You can get wonderful care and nice people on every phase of your visit.
