To Dr. Xiao, holistic integrative therapeutic treatment for Mind/Body/Spirit is not a group of buzz words, but her way to an evidence-based successful OMD career with many current and past patients, ever grateful. Dr. Xiao believes that she has been blessed with four unique apprenticeships: In her ; Apprenticeship under her father for Chinese herb remedies in her early childhood; and in her teenage years for non-surgical Chinese osteopathy under her father; in her early 20s, Apprenticeship under a Qigong and Marshall Arts Master at Hernan ShaoLin Temple, Hernan, China; and, finanly, during her adulthood, an Apprenticeship under her father, for TCM practice and treatments in the fields of hypnosis and psychotherapy. (As a special tribute to Dr. Xiao's father, it is noted that Dr. Xiao's father, although retired, continues to enjoy his well-deserved reputation in Beijing and Sichuan as an accomplished hypnotist and psychotherapist.)
