His practice is limited exclusively to cosmetic surgery and focuses specifically on the areas of Breast Enhancement, Body Contouring, and Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation. Because of his expertise in breast enhancement, Dr. Buford was personally chosen by his peers as a member of the MENTOR Worldwide Education Council as well as the MENTOR LEADS Advisory Board. With his breadth of training in both primary and secondary breast surgeries, Dr. Buford was recently one of two physicians chosen to participate in a three city program in India focusing on Advanced Techniques in Breast Surgery.
In addition, he is a key organizer for the national MENTOR New Practice Paragon to be launched in Fall of 2010 in New York City for both surgical residents and young physicians. The program is aimed at providing practice management essentials and will include focus on his recently released text, Beauty and the Business.

Dr. Buford is a graduate of the Baker/Stuzin/Baker Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship in Miami, making him one of the few cosmetic plastic surgeons in the Rocky Mountain Region to complete formal post-graduate training. Dr. Buford holds higher degrees from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and the University of California, San Diego. In 2006, the Consumers Research Council of America named him one of America's Top Surgeons. He is a native of Portland, Oregon who currently lives and works in the Denver area. Time away from his practice is spent writing, cooking, and enjoying Colorado's abundant outdoor pastimes.

Dr. Buford and his staff are wonderful, everyone is very kind and friendly! I had a breast augmentation and Dr. Buford hit it out of the park! Lauren aka the skin scholar is beyond professional, caring, and is so knowledgeable in everything skin/injections etc. Lauren knows how to enhance your natural beauty by being a expert at facial anatomy! While the whole team at Beauty by Buford is top notch-Lauren is the absolute best! I see her for all the " things" and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my face! She has an amazing eye for the most natural enhancements. But the thing I love the most is her willingness to listen. I've never (not one time and I've seen her plenty) felt rushed. She always gives me the time necessary and because of that, I walk out of her office feeling like a million bucks. Trust me when I say if you want the best-customer service and results-go see Lauren. You will not be disappointed.

I saw Lauren for the first time a few weeks ago. I had been waiting for awhile to get my lips done, I wanted to find the right person. SHE was the RIGHT PERSON 1000%! My friend who is a dermatologist PA recommended her to me and I am so thankful I listened to her and went to Lauren. Not only was she professional and super informative, but she was sweet and so friendly!

I had what I thought was an appointment scheduled with Lauren, their injector. This was my second time seeing her, I made an appointment about a month in advance after messaging with her about it on Instagram. I received a confirmation email two times. The day I showed up for my apt, it appeared they had double booked me. Lauren could not have been more rude and unapologetic.
I had been looking forward to and saving money for filler for weeks. She blamed the whole booking issue on me and sent me on my way without even a simple "sorry". I started crying in the waiting room from how poorly she was treating me. She continued to take no blame or admit fault in her scheduling system after the fact when she realized there was an issue on their end. All she could say was "sorry I made you feel bad". No attempt to reconcile my business. Got my filler elsewhere and won't be returning.

I have been seeing Lauren at Beauty by Buford for about 9 months and I could not be happier. She takes her time explaining the process, the pros and cons, and makes you feel right at home in her chair. The office staff is amazing and super personable. Shannon always has a smile on her face and willing to help schedule/reschedule appts with ease and comfort. I have already recommended several friends and they are happy as well. I recently got my Botox done by Dr. Buford, and the results are amazing! He is very detail oriented, and he has an eye for face symmetry that clearly shows through his work. Dr. Buford knows many different techniques that can get you your perfect look. He is the best in town for your injection and filler needs!

I just had my first treatment of kybella. It was a great experience from when I walked in the door to be greeted by a very friendly receptionist. I was taken back immediately after filling out paperwork by the nurse/coordinator?, Melanie. She was very friendly and explained in detail what to expect. Dr. Buford came in and I felt very welcomed by his warm demeanor.
He was very detailed in explaining the procedure - what it would entail and what to expect afterwards. The injections are not super painful, but definitely not fun :-) After the injections, the pain is like a huge throbbing pimple which they ice right away and the pain subsides very quickly. The day after I am swollen, which is typical immediately after the procedure, however I do not have any pain.
I cannot speak to the results as I just had it done but I wanted to comment on the great service they provide and the warm caring people they have working there. Thanks so much!

I can't explain how amazing my experience has been so far. ALL the staff both in dr Budfords office, to the surgical center to obviously Dr Buford himself! They are available to you 24/7 post surgery and thus far I can't even say 5 stars is enough to rate them because they have gone above and beyond!! I went to Dr. Buford to get a breast augmentation done. After feeling self-conscious my entire life about my small chest size I was excited about the surgery and Dr. Buford didn't disappoint. My surgery has given me exactly the look I have wanted my entire life. The experience was also wonderful.
