Really wonderful experience receiving my ICL - from the front desk to the consultation and procedure - everyone I dealt with was professional, highly knowledgeable, and ready to answer any and all of my questions. Don't bother going anywhere else for LASIK! Dr. Beyer and his team are top notch! I typically spend a few weeks to months researching who to go to or what to buy when spending this kind of money or putting the body through a procedure or surgery. For anything, I always want the BEST and Dr. Beyer is that person in this field! Heck if it's good enough for movie star Kevin Costner, then it should be good enough for us regular folks. As the band Survivor sang, "the search is over" go ahead and book an appt. here, you will be glad you did! :

I'll preface this by saying I am not a fan of eye stuff at all - contacts, eye drops, nope. Hence, I've been wearing glasses for distance and driving for 15 long years. No more! My PRK procedure with Dr. Beyer was just over one month ago and I could not be happier with the results! Dr. Beyer and the staff at Boulder Eyes answered each of my many questions and were completely understanding and reassuring of my anxiety.

The procedure itself was virtually painless and so quick! I've had teeth cleanings that were 10 times more uncomfortable. My vision fluctuated for about three weeks while healing, as expected, but now I am seeing far better than I ever did with my glasses. Honestly the hardest part of the entire process was reading through the consent forms. As an avid hiker and camper, laser vision correction has been nothing short of life changing. If you are considering PRK, look no further. You won't regret it. Thank you, Dr. Beyer!

Dr. Beyer and his team made my Lasik experience seamless. I'm a little over two months post op and have zero issues with 20/20 vision. After wearing contacts for over 20 years it was definitely worth it!

Recently had Lasik done by Dr. Beyer. Office staff was nice and professional. Dr. Beyer instilled a sense of confidence and made me feel at ease answer all and any questions I had. Procedure was short and painless (just a little uncomfortable getting things shoved around your eye). Make sure you get your prescriptions filled early. They do a lot of surgeries and if you wait until the last minute the Walgreens may not have any in stock and most pharmacies don't stock these drops. Follow the directions and use the shields they give you and you will be fine.

So I loved that the lady who took my infor for phone consult was nice, answered all my questions. However she neglected to tell me for my in person consultation I would be charged $250. When there I told them I was unaware of a charge and was told it was free. Still had me pay. Agreed because I was told it was be put toward the lasik procedure. The who consultation was fast.

And I was treated like I was all signed up. When I was there to see if I was a candidate and if I wanted to continue. The whole thing was a fast track to signing up. I then asked the surgeon why he doesn't do laser lasik and only does blades. He answered but it was just because I prefer it kind of answer. While doing my research I learned how much safer laser is than blade.

And I'm worried about dry eyes after. And blade casues more dry eyes. So I go home. Its the day before surgery. And a lady calls and says my 250 no longer goes towards the total cost. I said why. She said because I didn't pay in cash. I explained no one told me anything about this. I told the front desk lady I wanted to pay in cash to get a discount.

And yet they didnt bother to mention this. When I tried to explain. She wanted to have the original lady "call me and talk to me". I refused. Later called back and canceled everything. Told them they need better communication skills and I can't go with such an unprofessional company. So if you want to go with a money hungry, pushing ass, no communication company. This would be your place.

From start to finish my experience at Boulder eyes was superb! I at all times felt informed and well taken care of all of my questions were answered and bitterness of the evaluation was reassuring. The anxiousness preceding the surgery slowly built until I sat in the chair at which point the most incredible transient alterations to my visual perception began unfolding before me. An event horizon is the closest thing I can relate it to, a black circle completely devoid of light resting dead center cupped by a fiery burning bright light visible only in a tiny perfect ring around the blackness shortly after this visual takes place a green pulsating twisting winding beam of light moves towards your eye and enters your head you don't feel it per se you know that it's definitely continuing to move into your eyeball after you sit up vision is restored at least in my case so much so that the very next day I was registering at 20/15.

They say that after the day of surgery it can expect a total of about a month of Total recovery and improvement which is a good thing except when you think about the fact that I had perfect vision the day after and if I still have 29 or so days of improvement left where do I end up? Am I going to be able to see through objects, or see the future, or perhaps fire kinetic blasts of energy and light out of my eyes?!?!

I didn't sign up for that when I got the surgery, I'm not saying that I'm not looking forward to it I'm just saying I'm not really prepared to assemble a team which it seems to be the only rational decision. I mean I don't even know a single paralyzed white British bald guy much less one that has incredible psychic and telekinetic abilities and enough money to get us a location for a school. I'm sure I'll figure it out but there should be a warning about cases like mine.

I received Lasik vision correction flap surgery at Boulder Eyes and am very happy with my experience and results. Everyone was professional, pleasant and personable. They were very accommodating and took into consideration my initial fears regarding the procedure and worked with my schedule. I can't believe I waited this long to do it. Procedure took about 10 minutes to complete and I could see immediately. Amazing!

I went to BoulderEyes to have the LASIK vision correction surgery. I cannot express how happy I am with the care that I received. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, always there to answer questions. Dr. Beyer is wonderful and helped to answer every question that I had about the procedure. It took about 10 minutes to do the procedure and I could see immediately after. Dr. Bannwarth has been very helpful as well with my questions and concerns. BoulderEyes will be the only vision care center I go to.

Dr. Beyer and his staff were very friendly and knowledgable. They all made me feel comfortable and confident during the procedure and recovery. I can see much, much better and clearer now, thanks to BoulderEyes.

I am four days out from my custom Lasik procedure and I am very pleased with the results thus far. I had a minor complication the day after surgery but Dr. Beyer was able to correct it with no discomfort. He even made sure to reach out on Christmas Day to ensure that I was doing okay with correction. I truly appreciated the care and concern. I have full confidence that I will continue to be well cared for through this process.

The office staff is very knowledgeable and kind and I will definitely be recommending this facility to others. They provide detailed information and are excellent with making you feel at ease and answering any questions you have. I definitely felt like my concerns mattered. And of all the shopping around I did, I found that BoulderEyes had the best price and offered a discount due to the insurance coverage I had (even though insurance did not cover the procedure).

My PRK procedure had an entirely painless recovery with minimal recovery time and I've had no complications. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, from booking the initial consultation to my pre and post-op exams. If you're hesitant about laser correction surgery, I highly recommend taking the leap and booking with Dr. Beyer and Boulder Eyes!

Best decision I've ever made! Near sided with a stigmatism and Lasik fixed it. Dr Beyer and his team are friendly, courteous and professional. Dr Beyer personally returned a call while I was on a Cruise in Alaska. I began seeing double and no one could figure it out. I had had Botox above my eyes a few weeks before my trip and he was the only one who figured it out! Phew! What a relief that was. Thankfully it passed and it's all gone now. I highly recommend Dr Beyer and his staff!

I come here yearly for my eye exam. I am always treated with much respect from the front desk people and the doctor's. The doctors especially are very kind and it is obvious how much they love their job. All of my questions are answered honestly here and waiting time is minimal. However, the frames here are ridiculously expensive, insurance has never covered the entire price. You are better off requesting your prescription and getting your glasses elsewhere. Either way, a great experience every time I come here. Oh, and free coffee!

One of the few places in town to get serum tears made. There are a few others but none as accommodating. I will be going here for my future eye needs gracias.

I was legally blind (10 and 8 contacts) and had been wearing glasses since fourth grade. I would have been first off the island, and now I can see. I don't wake up and have to fumble for my glasses before I can function. It's life-changing, and it feels like a miracle. I couldn't be more grateful to the great people in Dr. Beyer's office, who made this happen for me.

I had PRK surgery with Boulder Eyes and could not be happier with my vision and experience. I didn't have terrible vision to start but definitely couldn't manage without contacts or glasses. After PRK I am seeing things like I have never seen them before! I swear it was like I didn't even know the mountains had so much depth and detail.

The ease of not having to deal with contacts or glasses is fantastic. The doctors and nurses walked through the procedure step-by-step, answered all my questions and prepared me well for what to expect. I was happy with how thorough and easy the appointment schedules were along with the actual surgery. It was tricky not being able to see for a few days and maintaining the amount of eye drops needed but I would never take back having the surgery. It is hard up front but like any other surgery it gets better with time. I highly recommend Dr. Beyer, Dr. Bannworth, and Boulder Eyes if you are looking to have Lasik/PRK.

I had cataract surgery (both eyes at the same time) and Sympfony lenses inserted 2 days ago by Dr. Coco. Remarkably, I can see quite well both near and far. The first night of the surgery I could see a halo effect but day 2, no halos and I am VERY happy. Dr. Coco was very knowledgeable and patiently explained all of the options. He was very professional and pleasant. Everyone I had contact during my experience was EXTREMELY NICE!

I highly recommend Dr. Coco for the Visian ICL procedure. He did a spectacular job, took the time to answer any questions, and was genuinely concerned about the recovery process after surgery. For someone who loves the outdoors, it is just simply wonderful to be able to wake up with great eyesight and it will be nice to not having to worry about dust getting into contacts or having to pack extra contacts when traveling.

It was cool that they let me use both a Groupon and a Living Social Coupon. The office is nice and pleasant. The same can be said for my doctor. However, I called to order contacts from them and they would not price match. Rather, they would only price match 1-800-contacts so I ended up placing an order a Walgreens.com since I had a coupon. Initially there as an accidental mix up-with my prescription and that caused me some extra hassle. I'll leave that part of the story out because it's complicated. Luckily, someone from Boulder Eyes recognized the difficulties I was having and gave me a call to get everything sorted out. She went above and beyond to get to make sure I was a satisfied customer. This is a five star place.

I have Keratoconus - a degenerative eye condition, and this is the first facility that could ever help me with that problem. Over the last few years, I have been getting worse and worse correction due to the condition - ending in 20/30 vision. Dr. Beyer said he could help, and the results are fantastic. Already seeing 20/20 with correction and will get PRK in 5 months or so.

A bit of a small miracle! They are very kind and patient at this facility. I felt great confidence in Dr. Beyer. He has great "bedside" manner and will make you fell very comfortable. The same with his staff. I highly recommend this facility.

I walked into Dr. Beyer's office with terrible -6.5 vision. Astigmatism. Keratoconus. 30+ years of expensive glasses and complicated contact lenses. A travel kit full of solutions and eyewear gear. Toil and trouble. After corneal cross-linking and PRK, I'm 20/20. Wham bam, easy peasy! No kidding. It's been a year and I still find it hard to believe.

I couldn't be happier with the process and result. No correction needed at all anymore. Not even reading glasses and I'm 47 years old. Now I travel with little more than a toothbrush. I can see! What more do I need to say? Thank you, Dr. Beyer!

Stay away! The worst customer service experience of my life. The reason I made an appointment was for a new contact prescription. While making the appointment, I mentioned that I would like to learn more about Lasik. I guess that was my mistake because I ended up seeing Dr. Beyer who (said this himself) doesn't do contacts. So after playing with my prescription for a while I had a full blown lasik consultation, which made the visit twice as long and kept me out of the office for the entire morning.

When I checked out they made me complete a credit application for the $4,000 lasik procedure that I needed to make an appointment for in the next three months. Remember, I was hoping to learn more about it with like a brochure and some explanation, not sign up to do it right then and there. Unfortunately this is only where the fiasco begins. Usually, I order my contacts through 1800CONTACTS mostly because of convenience, but because they thought I was getting lasik, they ordered 6 month's worth for me.

I walked out of there spending $266. The following Thursday I received a call that my contacts are ready to be picked up, but that they are only open until 5pm that day and the next before they will be closed for labor day weekend. When I arrived at 4:30 they were closed and I had no contacts for the next 4 days. SCAMMERS!

Craig Beyer and his team are absolutely the best. I had my first lasik surgery ten years ago and it was an amazing experience! I had a minor tuneup on my left eye this year and, once again I have perfect vision! Not into lasik? They are also great for those preferring glasses. They take great care to ensure the right prescription and they have a great selection of stylish glasses to choose from. I recommend Boulder Eyes to anyone who will listen.

Both my husband and I had lasik at Beyer about ten years ago.we both still have 20/15 vision. My husband had dry eyes prior to surgery but no longer does. Neither of us have had any issues with our eyes and we are so happy to be contacts free.

My vision went from around 20/800 to 20/20 - what more can I say?! Between all the pre-op, post-op and check up visits I've probably met most of the staff and they're all plenty friendly with a professional bedside manner. Dr. Beyer himself is probably the most laid back of the bunch and is very pleasant as well as skilled. I truly felt like I was prepared and taken care of through the whole process of PRK surgery and recovery.

Unfortunately I can't comment on price as I haven't compared it to other locations, but I can say that it was around $4K for custom PRK surgery in both eyes and included all office visits but not medication. If you're on the fence about the actual procedure, I can't recommend it enough. What's a few days of scratchy eyes (I was seriously fine with Advil - no prescription meds needed!) and lots of eyedrops compared to perfect vision for the rest of your life?

For those of you who know me well you know how poor my eyesight had always been. I started wearing glasses 18 years ago, switched to contacts which I had to stop wearing due to irritation and dry eye. I haven't always been consistent with wearing my glasses so I had decided about 8 years ago to get LASIK. I chose to wait until my prescription stabilized and I had the funding up front to do so.

On July 23 I had PRK corrective eye surgery and I am not looking back, no pun intended. I am now seeing 20/20 and I couldn't be more thrilled. I had LASIK done here with Dr Beyer. Ill say, the staff is personal. They are professional, and they are knowledgable. Unlike any type of assembly line LASIK you might find in Denver. The staff here is what makes this a 5 star for me. The surgery is a quick procedure, and Dr Beyer is the best of the best, being the first Dr in the state of CO to perform the procedure.

Now with countless surgeries under his belt you can rest assured you are getting it done right. You can't go wrong with Boulder eyes. Do your research like I did and you'll find yourself making your first appointment here. You won't be let down!

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about how awesome it is to be able to see without glasses, contacts or other paraphernalia. That was literally the only bill I sent off with a stamp and a smile. Financing was easy and the whole experience was awesome. So glad I did it!

I was really impressed with the quality of service and especially the staff here. I went in for a LASIK consult expecting a pushy sale, but the woman I spoke with was warm, friendly, and honest. She told me that even though it was technically her job to sell LASIK, it wasn't the best option for my eyes and recommended alternatives. I got new glasses instead, and when I was running late to pick them up, another staff person stayed a few minutes past 5 on a Friday afternoon to give them to me. They really care about people at this place and it's that attitude that keeps me coming back.

I had a problem with my new lens prescription fitting into my old frames. It meant I would have had to be without my glasses for a week... Ugh!!! Instead they came up with a wonderful solution that allowed me to use my old lenses in a pair of temporary frames... Just awesome!!! All the other drivers on the road were safe!!! Thanks guys!!! No wonder I've been going to Boulder Eyes for all my Lasik and other eye needs for many years!!!

The eye doctor was great. The entire staff is very friendly. My prescription is perfect. I liked my glasses so much I went back for prescription sunglasses. I highly recommend Beyer lasik.

Boulder Eyes was my second LASIK consult. Thankfully, I found this office to be much more Honest and Personable than my first. They were not in a pushy hurry to sign me up for an eye surgery assembly line. They were committed to find the right correction for my eyes. They told me their opinion: I was Not a strong candidate for LASIK due to my astigmatism. Instead, they educated me on PRK surgery, which is what I went with, and am now enjoying the results! Dr. Beyer and his team are wonderful people both personally and professionally. I do not trust mine or my children's eyes to Anyone Else, but them!

I have new eyes! It's hard to believe that a year ago I was wearing contacts that were constantly dry or thick glasses. I highly recommend BoulderEyes. If I could give Boulder Eyes/Beyer LASIK 10 stars I would!! I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Beyer and his staff since 2006. They performed corneal transplants surgeries for both my eyes, several PRK corrective procedures on the transplanted corneas, and cataract surgery (due to steroid medication) on both my eyes. All these post transplant procedures/surgery (PRK and cataract) were to be expected post op care with corneal transplant surgery while in the process of healing and ultimately obtaining the best possible visual acuity outcome.

My vision post transplant surgery/treatment ultimately resulted in 20/20 uncorrected vision in both eyes for many years. This outstanding result is exceptional among corneal transplant patients nationwide. Most transplant patients have experienced improved vision, however, they are told to expect to have to wear glasses or contacts post op to obtain optimal corrected 20/20 vision. Uncorrected 20/20 vision post op results are very rare.

I credit Dr. Beyer and his competent staff of surgeons for my outstanding results and success. These are very skilled surgeons at Boulder Eyes. One afternoon while I was waiting in the lobby, a very well known recognizable Hollywood A list actor walked into the office (as a current patient) and chatted with one of the surgeons in the lobby. I recognized him right away as he was standing just two feet from me.

He said he had just driven down from Aspen for his appointment.This is the caliber and earned reputation of the surgeons in this office, even a Hollywood A list actor knows of Dr. Beyer and is a patient of Boulder Eyes! You will be in good hands at Boulder Eyes.

I'd like to thank Beyer LASIK and Boulder Eyes for the professional, painless and extremely successful PRK procedure. I struggled with glasses and contacts my entire life. They were a constant irritation to my active life style; imagine loosing your prescription scuba mask at 90 ft when you can't see the back of your hand above water. I decided it was time to get my eyes fixed and liberate myself from the tyranny of my short sighted-ness.

After a free consultation, Dr. Beyer walked me through the procedure options and laid any concerns I had to rest. The painless procedure was completed in 30 minutes and the staff was professional and inviting. Dr. Beyer was there the entire time and I noticed an immediate improvement when I could see the small smiley face sticker on the ceiling. 4 years later, I'm still seeing 20/15 and can see just fine without my scuba mask.

This procedure changed my life. I was a little nervous the day of, but they gave me a Valium and a fresh baked cookie and it alleviated all my worries! 3 weeks after the PRK, I have 20/15 vision and no dryness. I got the plugs as well and my eyes actually water when I yawn now! I can't explain how wonderful it is to open my eyes in the morning and be able to see!

And when I'm playing with my kids, doing raspberries and other silly things, I don't have to worry about my glasses getting in the way! I'm so happy and can't recommend this enough.
