Dr. Fountis is the product of The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where she mastered this unique weight loss program.
Dr. Fountis utilizes the PSMF (Protein Sparing Modified Fast) Theory and developed her "A Healthier Weigh" weight loss program. She had trained at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation to utilize this medically supervised program. Obesity is a primary health concern and risk factor in coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, gall bladder disease, arthritis, and peripheral vascular disease. Medical studies also suggest that obesity is linked to many diseases such as cancer, and is becoming a major national health problem.

Thanks to Dr. Sophia Fountis, and her team, I've lost 12 inches and 75 pounds all in about 5 months! This program helped me so much! As a patient with PCOS, and hormonal weight gain, and a hectic millennial lifestyle as a young teacher- I tried so many Pinterest recipes for success, no gluten, no sugar, low dairy, high cardio, low resistance, Keto etc. and nothing worked Sofia helped me drop 65 lbs in 5 months, and as a "snail" patient, that was still such a short time!

I don't often write reviews but in this case my life was literally changed in a matter of months! I have been seeing Dr. Fountis for weight loss since October 5th, and through Thanksgiving, maybe 6 or 7 weeks, I lost over 25 lbs! I wake up, )after buying a nice new high tech scale that tracks on an app) every morning excited to weigh myself, and it's like it's melting off, really!
I also see Dr. Nick Kalogerometro for back decompression on an incredible piece of equipment, (not many in the state). I had been bedridden for 2 months with a herniated disc when my surgeon told me he would do surgery but if I didn't loose the weight it could happen again. As I was loosing weight with Dr. Fountis I began with Dr. Nick on an ongoing plan.
His hands on approach assures he is doing everything he can to make you feel better. He was as concerned as I was. Other than HIGHLY recommending this practice I can't say more about them. I even purchased a Gift Certificate for my husband for decompression!

I have struggled getting past weight loss plateaus and maintaining weight loss since my kids were born. I went to see Dr Fountis after seeing amazing results with two close friends. I was able to reach my goal in under 3 months! I absolutely love that I didn't have to buy any meal replacements, "magic" pills or anything that didn't come from the grocery store and that the rest of my family couldn't eat.
I am now on maintenance and have been able to maintain my weight loss without issue. I like that I still meet with Dr Fountis over the next two years as well; accountability for me is huge. Highly recommend ChiroMed!
