Oklahoma Mental Health d/b/a Red Rock Behavioral Health Services started from a small grassroots group of individuals and a budget of $50,000. Today, Red Rock BHS has become one of the largest Community Mental Health Centers (CMHC) in Oklahoma and one of the first Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC), and we operate with a budget of over $50 million.
First visits may look different & need different documents depending on the service needed. For more accurate information, please contact the Red Rock BHS facility directly. Generally, when you get to your first appointment, the front desk staff will need a few documents from you (listed in the section to the right), and any co-pay will also be collected based on your insurance coverage.
If you do not have insurance, you will still be able to receive services. No one is denied access to services solely due to inability to pay. You may also be eligible for your care to be paid for through the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS). If you are not eligible, we have a sliding pay scale available.
Red Rock Behavioral Health Services can help you sign up to have coverage before you need it! There are no health questions on the application. There is no retroactive coverage for previous bills. If you need assistance, please contact your Red Rock BHS clinician OR call our Access Center at 405-424-7711 or 1-855-999-8055 (toll free).

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT HELP they make you wear used underwear and all they do is give work sheets. The staff is very judgmental and do not show any empathy to anyone. The psychologist is very rude and her opinion is the one that determines if you get extended or not and she's only is there for like an hour a day and the nurses were extremely rude and do not care about you. You will just be another name to them. They don't treat you like a person with feelings

Nurse Patricia Johnson RN lied about discharge on the morning call so we drove 2 hours -nurse called again when we were halfway and said yes she was being seen by the dr-come on up to pick up our daughter ONLY TO BE TOLD that she was wrong and my daughter wouldn't be discharged until the next day. This nurse DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON AND SHOULD NOT BE WORKING IN THIS FIELD OF WORK.

I went here after contacting 20 other psychologists and getting either a 6 month wait or next year wait response. This one told me to show up before 9am because they fill up. I'm giving 2 stars because everyone was very friendly but the fact that I was having a panic attack infront of them and they still wouldn't help me threw me for a loop. I had arrived before they opened at 8am and there were maybe 8 or 9 people in front of me.

When they opened the door and started processing I was the first to be told that they couldn't take anyone else. Like I said they said it in a very friendly manner and explained they were short staffed which I would of completely understood if I wasn't having a mental breakdown. The only reason I wanted to get seen was so I could talk to someone about my issues especially with being diagnosed as bipolar I was having a hard time.

I wasn't there for medication because I had that already I just needed some guidance. Anyway I started to cry and started my tick of rubbing my hand I couldn't control it but they gave me information and the manager I'm assuming was nice enough to talk to me outside. He then proceeded to ask me questions and I explained what was going on while I started hyperventilating and crying and repeating my words.

He explained a panic attack should go to the hospital and that I should just come back tomorrow. Mind you I had taken off from work for this so I was already stressed and now I'd have to repeat the process. After that I thanked him for what little help he offered stumbled down the side walk till I couldn't breath anymore and was forced almost to my knees trying to catch my breath.

My issue isn't with their lack of help that can't be helped sometimes but the fact that I clearly was struggling and they did nothing not even waiting for me to calm down enough to safely leave. It was mentally destructive but since he along with others working there have been at it for awhile I think they sort of get numb and don't respond how any other person who hasn't seen that would of which would of been with compassion and assistance.

I will not be returning because I don't believe I could mentally handle it again but I do hope the next person who is clearly seen suffering is taken better care of then I was.

I started at the El Reno location my process of joining Red Rocks care. It ended up being too far away after my living situation changed and I couldn't make it to my med clinic appointment. I learned they put out an email and got me a ride to my appointment so I could meet my doctor virtually so I could get the medicine and help I been working on. An employee picked me up and took me and made it possible.

Then Seth helped me from one side of the office to the other and making sure I understood things and my lbs were done and medications filled today. I started my morning off at 5am crying thinking I wouldn't make it to now crying with joy because of how amazing each of these individuals have been to me. Thank you all. If you are reading this as an employee please know you make a difference so much. Ripples become waves.

The only reason I put one star is because Courtney, my RSA, was genuinely amazing and infinitely patient, misty was very kind and helpful, and my intake therapist was great. Everything else was absolutely horrible. Mary is the most unprofessional person I have EVER had the displeasure to deal with. She was not only condescending and disrespectful, but also extremely rude and did not listen to a word I said.

I would never ever recommend this place to anyone for medication management. I don't know how their therapy is because I was on a waiting list and found someone else because I no longer trust this place to give adequate care. If you are needing medication management for multiple issues don't bother. Mary will tell you your secondary condition isn't pertinent and it doesn't exist. (Adult Adhd, in my case though I was diagnosed at 14 and am 19 now.

In the scientific community it is well known and studied that our brains don't reach adulthood at 19 so any intelligent and well informed physician would know I have CHILDHOOD ADHD) if I went into an urgent care for a broken arm but they also found out my leg was broken they would never say that they couldn't fix my leg because it wasn't my primary condition.

I was trying a medication that was making me feel awful and wasn't helping at all and she said she could INCREASE the dosage. Then she assumed that my adhd diagnosis was racing thoughts and offered to put me on anxiety medication. Most ridiculous, degrading, and minimizing experience I have ever had with a medical professional.

Red rock is an amazing facility. They really do Help people. I give them complete credit for helping my Mother "find" herself again. I have not met a single worker there that is not kind and willing to do whatever it takes for the better of their patients. They genuinely care and it shows in all that they do! If you need help or know someone who needs help.

Trust them to do what needs done, I do. My mom does they made all the difference after another place messed her all up Red Rock took time to actually listen to her and gave her her life back. Thank You Red Rock

My husband was there for two weeks due to side effects from vaping. Long story short, it was hard to get a hold of anybody for follow ups since he was an adult. He would have to give consent to you in order to release information, but it was hard to do that because he wasn't in his right mind at the time. There wasn't really a process that they can explain to the families or what we should expect.

I can say I only spoke to one person name Armand the Care Coordinator. He provided me with enough information, but it was hard to get a hold of him as well if I had more questions to ask. Overall, my husband stated that there were two people in that facility that actually was there to help him and everybody else wasn't to pleasant.

Avoid bringing your loved one here, they (Joy) and her supervisor told me to wait until my elder aunt was in the hospital before they could assist her further, she was in the hospital for two weeks with no assistance at all for them. I truly feel sorry for mentally ill patients who solely rely on them. Poor job Red Rock! If you hate your job make room for those who will actually care to do their job. They don't deserve one star for the mistreatment of my sweet aunt.

Send your kids here if you absolutely do not care about them. They will be verbally and emotionally abused and prepare to not get them back when you're supposed to. They will not be respected at all and their needs are not met, they're supposed to be getting helped here not ignored and belittled. Most of the staff members shouldn't even be allowed to work with children.

This is truly a nightmare. If you read the "good" reviews, notice how they're from people that were not admitted or just didn't spend more than a few days there. I don't know how this place is allowed to operate.

I was inpatient at the beginning of 2019 and the service that I received was horrendous and truly disgusting. A grown white man called a young also white man "N***er" and justified it by saying "He said it first". Another staff member talked disrespectfully about a patient calling them "a brat" and "a pain in the a**" behind their back. I just happened to hear it.

They would also speak loudly about their tax returns at 2 am, disturbing the peace. I told several staff members that my father was threatening to hurt me and i felt unsafe going home and they forced me to go home telling me that me and him just had "communication issues". The doctors do not spend more than 5 minutes with you and they do not care about your issues.

My roommate was there for 5 days before she saw a therapist. A lot of the staff members are bullies and i saw them treat the other patients poorly. Please don't send your children here if you want them to receive proper treatment. Being there made me more suicidal than i was before i got there
