The NP was not professional. Didn't do any assessment she just look my paper and ask me what I have. I told her I was congestive, couple days and she didn't even check my nose for sinus. She is the worst practioner.

I was able to easily schedule my visit online for a Saturday. The waiting room was sanitized after every single person touched anything. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and providers. Great overall experience

Absolutely horrible! I didn't even get seen by a doctor but this is a review for the front desk staff. I walk in, show my insurance. The overweight woman behind the desk says she's never heard of my insurance. I explain to her the clinic is in-network and she can call to verify. She proceeds to argue with me for 5 minutes telling me it's not her job instead of spending 5 minutes calling to verify. I walked out without any care. What absolute negligence for the patient's wellbeing.

We pulled up to get our 3.5 year olds covid test. He isn't usually a fan of them but the Nurse practitioner was so sweet and quick! He didn't even mind it. This is our 3rd experience at this urgent care and all have been great! Glad I know where to go so close to home.

I was seen almost immediately for my upper respiratory infection. The office staff was kind and efficient. The initial portion of my exam was done by teleconference in my car in the parking lot-and then the nurse practitioner, Laura Jardine, came to my car to complete her assessment. Laura was absolutely superb in her assessment, treatment, and care.

I have a complex medical history and she dived right in and took everything into consideration when prescribing medications and treatments. Thank you so much to the entire staff. I would highly recommend.

HORRIBLE experience, please go next door to Hoag if you can. I had a bad ear infection so I stopped by. The nurse practitioner is beyond clueless. If she doesn't know how to diagnose a simple ear infection, who knows what the heck she is doing with other patients. She looked in my ear and said it was severely inflamed and she couldn't even see down my canal.

So what did she do? Ordered the nurse to perform a high pressure lavage. It was extremely painful and started bleeding badly because of this. Then she ordered me only steroid drops even though it's an infection which requires antibiotics. The pain and blood continued that night and I was forced to go again to urgent care- this time next door to Hoag to see a competent physician.

He gave me combination antibiotic/steroid drops and oral antibiotics if it didn't clear up. I told him about the lavage and the medicine the NP at family care centers gave me and he was as confused as me. The drops the doctor gave me at Hoag did the trick and in about a weeks time everything was good. Literally paid family care centers $115 for nothing except to make me bleed and give me more pain. You've been warned

I was seen by the NP who diagnosed my sinus infection quickly and called in a prescription to my pharmacy and then completed a covid test as well. I appreciate the very efficient way everything was handled and now I can just get well.

My four year old daughter was having trouble breathing when she woke up this morning, I called to make an appointment with urgent care over the phone but they said I should just take her into urgent care on Brookhurst so I did as soon as I got in there I was the only one the lady behind the counter was on the phone she didn't tell me to hold on or even acknowledge that I was there when I started to leave that's when she acknowledged me told me to fill out the paperwork but wouldn't give me a clipboard then told me I was gonna have a telehealth visit with nurse practitioner Laura Jardine! and if it was bad enough she would come out to the car But we never had a telehealth visit, we waited until After she helped other people first even though I was the first one there she came over after and told me to explain to her what was going on I told her the whole situation and that she needed antibiotics "zpak" because she had a lung infection! she didn't even acknowledge what I was saying at all almost like she was racist ran back inside told them to lock the door, never got any Covid testing or anything! after that I had to go to the emergency room because this woman was obviously bipolar and should not be a nurse! after three hours in the ER they finally gave me azithromycin also known as Z-Pak which is what I asked urgent care for in the first place if you love your family you'll stay away from this place.

From the moment I entered the facility, I knew I had come to the right place. The beautiful lady at reception greeted me quickly and very respectfully. The wait was short and once in the room I was quickly attended to by sweet Becky and her mentor. Madison, the provider, was very professional and did an amazing job suturing my laceration. I am grateful for the caring and compassionate team at Family Care urgent care. Thank you!

I have been a patient of Dr. Fishbein for a few years now since I moved to Irvine. Dr. Fishbein is friendly and soft-spoken. I don't feel embarrassed sharing symptoms with him and trust his treatment plans. Since COVID and telemedicine have developed, Dr. Fishbein's office has kept up with the changes and offers televisits. Actually, most recently I was sick and had a televisit with the PA Alison and she was very helpful.

I was prescribed medicine which was ready at my pharmacy within a few hrs of the visit. I'm always able to get an appointment for sick visits or just physical type visits. Dr. Fishbein has also helped me with a stomach issue I was experiencing. We set an initial treatment plan and when I followed up to share my experience so far, Dr. Fishbein listened to what I had to say and agreed with treating me conservatively. I appreciate that he's not pushy and reaffirming. His office staff is always friendly also. I am grateful to have Dr. Fishbein as my primary doctor.

Dr. Bunten and his staff set the bar of care and compassion so high that they make it too difficult for other healthcare clinics to meet. Every time I am referred to other clinics for care, I feel and suffer the difference. I always look forward to visit their clinic. They make me it feel like a visit to a friends or family.

Dr. Fishbein has been my doctor for over 30 years. He always take as much time as needed to understand what my problem is. He has always been proactive in prescribing the treatment, medicine or referral I need. His staff is friendly and efficient.

I would highly recommend and give a 10 star rating. My appointment was for a Covid-19 test. I arrived 10 minutes early and was seen on time, which was appreciated. Thank you to Laura and all the staff for your hard work and patience during the rise in the Covid cases.

Tamara is so kind and easy to talk to. She takes her time with her appointments, I never feel rushed. She has taken such good care of me, that I wanted to recommend her to anyone who wants their total health maintained. Visiting her is like going to see a friend.

I was seen within minutes of arriving. The nurse was very helpful and put me at ease. After the test, I met with the nurse practitioner who was great. Very friendly and easy going which completely relieved my stress. At the end of the exam, two prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy and I was on my way to feeling better.

If I could give a negative star, I would due to poor clinical quality care and clinical judgement provided to a Navy Veteran today. My husband had an appointment with Dr. Howard Fishbein to establish care with him as a new PCP patient. He recently injured his back and was seen by urgent care last week. He was prescribed a muscle relaxer and an anti-inflammatory by the urgent care doctor. Dr. Fishbein told my husband to continue the medication but that he should also take a warm bath and drink wine to resolve his back injury.

My husband is unable to bend or sit as he has very limited range of motion due to his injury and the excruciating pain he is in. A bath would make his injury worse if he tried to make himself get into that low seated position. My husband should also not drink alcohol while on the medication that he is currently taking. When I gave Dr. Fishbein my husband's radiology report, he quickly glanced at it for one second, if that, and put it down.

When we asked about an MRI order, Dr. Fishbein's response is that it is too costly for us so he would not give him an order. I do not understand how this provider is able to know what would be considered "too costly" for our family and what our financial situation is by just looking at us. Just because we are people of color does not mean that we are not affluent.

This was the worst experience that we have ever had with a provider/clinician/physician. I would never recommend this provider to anyone or return to see him. It is sickening to know the complete lack of quality care my husband received today but I am glad I was there to witness it to ensure that I advocated for my husband.

My 7 year old daughter had a bad allergic reaction today, she was petrified to go to the doctors office in fear she would get a Covid test or vaccine, the whole staff was amazing and re-assured her that they were just going to check her out and she had nothing to worry about, they even brought her stickers. FNP Anna Garton was amazing, she was so understanding, kind and patient with my daughter. This is the best urgent care around, highly recommend it!

Words cannot express how totally impressed I am with Dr. Bunten and his staff. Dr. Bunten is a DO and it shows in his holistic approach to patient care. He is not the kind of doctor that is a prescription writing vending machine. He is sensitive and caring. He does not race through appointments but actually takes the time to examine you and understand your concerns (a rarity these days). His medical assistant Reina is very sweet and professional. I am blessed to have found him and have referred several of my friends.

I am a difficult patient for sure. I have HIGH expectations to be treated with kindness, empathy, and mutual respect. I need to question what meds are prescribed, and have a Dr as my PARTNER to have a quality of life. DR Bunten is EXCELLENT! Thank you Doctor!

The athletic physical for my daughter was great! We had a very short wait and the staff were all so friendly and helpful :) Both my daughter and I were comfortable and felt at ease with her physical. We didn't get the name of the male medical assistant but the female medical practitioner, Kelly, who examined my daughter was awesome! :) Highly recommend this place for any general medical care.

They took all the precautions to protect their patients including temperature checks, masks, and safety distancing. They get you in and out without a long wait. Thanks Family Care Center for a great experience! :)

With COVID things have been a little crazy, but not when it has come to our healthcare. Dr. Fishbein and Family Care Centers have been amazing resources and blessings for our family during this time. We can feel confident that if we are concerned about something, Dr. Fishbein will listen and take action. I don't have to feel silly for worrying about something. He takes his patients concerns seriously. We are incredibly blessed to have him as our provider and Family Care Centers in general

Dr. Goodfellow is an amazing and caring doctor. She listens thoroughly to your health complaints and recommends proper treatment. But the best part in that office is Cindy. Incredible and very very helpful in explaining how insurance policies work. She is very kind and will not get off the phone until she feels that I understood everything. Cindy. thank you for being so patient with me and explaining the world of insurances that I don't understand. You are a rock star. THANK YOU SO MUCH

My husband has been coming here for two years and always sees the physician assistant, Tamara. She sees him in a timely manner, listens to his concerns, and comes up with an appropriate treatment plan. She also gives recommendations for specialists in the area when needed. This office is busy, but well-run, a great family practice.

Today was just a standard, nurse only visit. Tiffany gave me my vaccine injection. I'm not a fan of getting shots but Tiffany Deserves 20 Stars! Could not be Update! Had another appointment today and Rina took great care of me! Nice to have such consistent profesional care and the staff were all very courteous as well.

Best urgent care experience ever! Front desk reps were very friendly, I waited only 30 minutes and then got taken back. Office is smaller but super clean. Daniel was the one who saw me before the doc and he was very attentive. He became my favorite person! He spoke to the doc about my wheezing and gave me the breathing treatment while I waited. He didn't forget about me and checked on me several times. And Cathy was amazing! Gave me everything I need and took the time to answer all my questions! Lifesaving office!

Today was initial appointment for a checkup with Tamara. I cannot express how knowledgeable and kind she was! She answered every question and concern I had. She did my Well Woman exam and made me feel at ease the entire time. Brenda (front office) was delightful as well, since the day I called to inquire an appointment. On the other hand, I was greeted by another woman in the front.

As soon as I signed in the woman on the left said to me "are you the new patient?" Me: "yes!" Her: "Your appointment was at 11am." Me: (confused face because my appointment was scheduled at 11:30 and I got there early for paperwork). Brenda: "No she was scheduled at 11:30am." I just did not like getting greeted in that manner, especially as a new patient. Overall a great place!

I really like Dr. Bunten and have been seeing him for years, so when I had an opportunity to have Dr. O'Nan do my Well Woman exam, I didn't hesitate. I knew that anyone affiliated with Family Care Center Irvine would be top notch. Suffice to say, Dr. O'Nan (Tamara) was professional, pleasant, and sensible. She knows her stuff and was efficient and fast. The office staff is also very pleasant and I never have to wait very long. We drive from Orange and it is totally worth it for such great care!

Dr Omel is always so friendly. She knows her stuff and has great advise. I recommend her to all my friends and family members. Plus the office staff is so friendly and efficient! Makes coming to the doctor easy and hassle free The office is clean and I never wait longer than 5 minutes. The office is always on time when if they are busy. I never went to the doctor before I had recommended to come here because it was always a hassle and time consuming and I hate waiting in the office with a bunch of such people.

That never happens here. There are rarely people waiting in the office, maybe 1-2 people on occasion. I love this office and Dr Omel! Now I go to see her for everything: mole removal, sun spots, ear aches, if I get sick-which is rare, and annual check up which before coming here, I only went once every 8 years! That's how enjoyable my visits are here. Hopefully you get the message of how wonderful these guys are especially Dr. Alison Omel

I recently decided to change doctors as my previous doctor and office made it so very difficult to make routine appointments and to make matters worse, I was always treated as a number and a number should always get in line and wait. Never was there an urgency to address my questions etc. Today I found a new doctor and office and I am very very happy.

The staff was extremely friendly, they went out of the way to make me feel important and they even have all the online tools to supplement my experience so that I can get the primary care I feel I deserve. Doctor David Bunten is awesome. I'm no spring chicken and I've been through plenty of doctors to know better to worse and Dr Bunten is one of the BEST!

He took the time to ask the right questions and provided me with answers to all my questions. Never felt rushed and I felt very welcomed. I left this office feeling good about my experience and that's important.

The Family Care Centers (4950 Barranca Pkwy, Suite 103, Irvine, CA 92604) is small clinic but they charge like a big hospital. On my last annual checkup, my bill jumped 100% and when I asked the reason, the doctor said he addressed two questions/issues other than the preventative exam. It appears their standard policy is to charge for any questions asked during the preventative checkup. Be sure to double check your statement after your visit.
