The obstetric advanced care team supports our obstetrics patients and their partners by facilitating communication between the patient, partner, support system, and all health care providers. We assist in helping you make decisions that best reflect your values and preferences, thus improving your and your family's quality of life.
Although we've delivered thousands of babies, we never tire of welcoming a new life into the world. The wonder of a woman giving birth is never routine, so we've carefully designed our obstetric care around your individual needs. Our goal is to help ensure a healthy outcome and a positive experience for both mother and baby.
We offer the option of safe, personalized care and support for pregnancy, labor, and birth from Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM's). Our midwives are experts in guiding women through the process of low-risk pregnancy, labor, and birth. You will be an active participant in your care and in your birth with a multitude of options available.

I drive from Charlotte to the RDU area in order to still be a patient at this practice. They treat you like family - from administrative, to nurses, to doctors, they are excellent. The only thing to be aware of is the care team does not rush patient visits, nor do I believe they should, but they do sometimes run a bit behind of schedule. To receive the care I get for them, I'm happy to wait a bit longer than expected, personally, and I know they've opened a second location to offset some of this. Just a note to be aware of, but I couldn't recommend this practice more.

The providers at this practice are incredible! Literally the definition of going above and beyond in patient care! Their facilities are very clean and well maintained, the providers are so professional and truly make you feel like you are their sole focus when working with you. I recently had a pharmacy mess up my prescriptions (my prescriber is a provider at this practice), and her team went so far out of their way to ensure I was getting the correct prescriptions after that pharmacy gave me incorrect medication.
As a patient, I have always felt seen and heard with any questions I may have regarding appointments, medications, and anything in between. I'd leave more than 5 stars if it were an option! Thank you guys for all you do in providing excellent patient care! Big shout out to NP Melinda Everett and her nurse/assistant Brittney! You guys are the BEST!

Dr. Miller needs to retire. My visit with her today was awful. She is the worst OB GYN I have ever seen in my life. Her table side manners are non-existent. Her knowledge of the female as a whole is severely lacking. Do not ever schedule an appointment with Dr. Miller unless you want to ruin your whole day. I delivered 3 children with this practice and those doctors would be severely disappointed in how the practice is run today. Nicole L. Farmer

I have been a patient with Chapel Hill OB/GYN since I was 16 years old. Every experience I have had has been pleasant. The nurses are always very nice. In one of my more recent experiences I was in pain and the nurse stayed in and talked me through it. The providers are always listening to me and never disregarding what I have to say. I love it here.

Very organized and efficient office. That would not normally be the first thing I mentioned, but I had to leave my last family care office because the wait times were so unpredictable and office staff would sometimes make mistakes with my blood draws, and I can't imagine that happening here. I saw a nurse Everett and she was absolutely wonderful. Professional but caring, and she helped me approach my sleeping issues from literally eight different angles! I am thrilled to have found this practice.
