This is in reference to the billing service they use. Expect a very nonchalant, could care less attitude from some of their customer service reps( CSRs). Our bill was never submitted to Medicare as it should have been initially. We called on May 9. We were told it would be submitted. We received an additional notice from our secondary insurance on May 17 stating the bill had never been submitted.
We called today - the first time was with a CSR who sounded like she had no clue how to find us. We requested to speak to a supervisor. We were put on hold for 20 minutes. The second time we called, the CSR hung up immediately when we requested to talk to a supervisor. The third time we called fortunately we were connected to someone who sounded like she was on the ball.
She informed us the bill had indeed been sent to Medicare on May 14. It would seem they need to do extensive training with some of their CSRs. Don't be surprised if you encounter total incompetence when calling about a bill that has not been submitted properly.

Everyone was careful to make sure my daughter received no further injuries after being bucked off a horse and landing on her head and neck. Luckily she didn't have any broken bones just deep bruising on her leg hip and pelvis. Everyone was thorough and even accidentally found a mass in the bone of her leg that wasn't injury related that was brought to our attention and we were encouraged to get that seen about immediately and it was just a benign tumor but they still took the time to see about it and do more X-rays unrelated to the injuries we came for and that means a heap to us.
It shows they care. I had a favorite nurse that took the time to break down the complicated medical terminology and she carried friendly conversation and didn't treat us like part of her job and nothing more. I don't remember her name but she was so cool. The doctor on staff was also very informative and knowledgeable. I will use this same facility when the next emergency arises.
We are all accident prone so we will probably be back within the year. There was one receptionist I honestly didn't care a whole lot for. She was not on staff the night of the accident but she was there answering the phone the next morning and she really could have been nicer, she acted like I was bothering her by calling about X-rays. Outside of that I loved everyone and maybe she was just having a bad day.

It is nice now to have a place to go online to look at a statement and to pay the bill using my FSA card. In the past before having an online account, this company would send my bills to collections before ever seeing a bill. Bad service guys. The only other problem I see is the same answers to people's comments and concerns. You can tell that nobody is actually reading their comments or doesn't care because the answers to everything are the pat standard replies.
I'm sure the facilities where they work pay them or they wouldn't be there very long. I did notice when I went online they are showing what the insurance paid, they gave me the same discount as if I were paying cash.

I have been there a few years back and though I have always been treated very well this last experience was unforgettable. To be honest that whole visit that night had been like never before. But the radiology team was excellent. I needed the images but I was in a wheelchair because I had recently had both feet reconstructed and I was going to climb on the table on my knees for I could not walk or stand and Chris did not allow it.
He quickly gathered five associates to help me get on the table with ease and no pain and they were very thoughtful that instead of putting me back on my chair they put me in a bed. I was so appreciative of the whole team. I would definitely go back to them if I ever needed to. Thank you so much

I have no complaints about your services. They seem fine. My complaint is that while I know it is my responsibility to make sure my physicians are in network with my insurance, I had no way of knowing that my physician would send my samples to an out of network radiologist and that I would be responsible for the whole bill that my insurance would not pay. Is there not a process where when you get a patient's sample(s) and information that insurance is checked before processing the sample(s)?
That would have been helpful. A phone call to my physician or to me telling that insurance would not pay for the services would have been greatly appreciated. There are other Radiologists in town that take my insurance that could have processed my results. I've tried to contact someone in my physician's office, with no response. You were sure able to email me immediately and call me to set up a payment plan, though.

What a joke of a company, look at the reviews not the rating. I have never interacted with, chosen as a provider, or even heard of Radiology associates of North Texas. Yet today I received a bill from them claiming last notice and they were sending me to collections over a $60 bill. I was in the hospital last summer (nowhere near their facility), paid all my bills 6 months ago, and this company is trying to hurt my credit when I've literally never heard of them. And just wait til you see the boiler plate, copy and paste response from them below. Frankly I'm not convinced this company isn't a scam of some sort.

My dad had a bill with this people and I called the customer services several times to give them the Emergency Medicaid ID number and the guy states everything will be bill to Medicaid. Now surprisingly the bill was sent to collections without informing us about it and I doubt they ever send the bill to Medicaid. So now I have to help my dad who is 74 to file a complaint to the BBB and the General attorney Office because somebody have to be responsible for this issue

I would give 0 stars if I could. So many issues with them in the last couple of months trying to get a bill resolved. The X-ray we had was fine. Their billing department leaves LOTS to be desired, especially their inability to interact with the billing departments of the companies they are contracted to work for, so you can efficiently handle your billing issues.
I called them to see about the bill- which never was mailed to me, even though I asked for it to be- and there was always an issue. The customer service is lacking, you can tell the billing department couldn't care less about resolving the issue. They are who Cook Children's was using for urgent care radiology in Aug/Sep 2021 and so you don't get a choice on not using them. Beware of that. Read through the other reviews. Completely avoid this company if you can.
