All of our physicians are fully trained in general surgery and have special training in the medical and surgical problems of the colon, rectum and anus. Dr. Charles Lago is a graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He completed a surgical residency at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences State University of New York at Buffalo and a Fellowship in Colon Rectal Surgery at Orlando Regional Healthcare System/University of Florida Affiliate.Dr. Lago is a Diplomat of the American Board of General Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Colon Rectal Surgery.

The office here is highly unprofessional and seems to have all of its financial tidings handled by some sort of automatic finance company; the first time I went here the doctor only charged me $50 for the visit, but within a few weeks I got some letter in the mail saying I owed a balance of over $200, which required multiple phone calls to get resolved.
The second time before going I asked them about a quote for a surgical procedure, they told me I needed to come in for a re-examination for the exact same issue I already got examined by him for, despite also having seen a different doctor and being given the same prognosis within the last month. Over the phone they told me "I would not be charged like the first visit since I am self pay". when I got there, after waiting over a half-hour and having asked what the total charge for services would be prior to seeing the doctor, they told me it would be about $200. way to lose a potential customer.
