I could not say enough good things. Today was my first appointment and I left feeling so encouraged. I met with Shekinah. She was very easy to talk to, professional and I felt comfortable opening up to her. The staff was friendly, the building is beautiful, and I wish there were more places like it. I drove from Gainesville for my appointment.

I've been suffering from a TBI from a severe accident since 2004. Having so much going on in the pre frontal cortex and a chemical imbalance in the basal ganglia region of the brain to put it simply. Seeing different Doctors for 16 years has left me feeling untreatable and confused until now. Working with Stephanie Smith and Kelly Tingler has been nothing short of a miracle.
It's not easy looking inward but you will get what you put into your treatment here. I didn't want to see more "Doctors" because I didn't think it would work but I was wrong. Mental health has so much to do with physical fitness, gut health, positive thinking, the right supplements, treatment plan, and most of all, people who understand what's actually going on.
If someone who suffers from a TBI, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, can be helped, so can you. Yes these things all effect your executive functions and if one part is off it can cause a lot of confusion. All of these conditions are very extensive and go much deeper than just feeling depression, hyperactive, and anxiety, because they're both somatic and cognitive.
Yes you can feel lost mentally, get stuck on emotional roller coasters, or even feel physical symptoms like panic, your heart racing, and feel your body flooded with adrenaline. These are real chemical imbalances that can change who you are as a person and make normal tasks seem impossible or getting things started or completed seem impossible because your brain is lacking in some area.
Often times people self medicate to just catch a break and try to keep your head above water. You're not broken and all of these conditions can be used to benefit your life in a positive way but you have to focus on the positives to shift that paradigm from "I'm too messed up" to "I'm going to use this to fuel my understanding and make it work for me" If you decide to start treatment just know it's gonna be a little tricky and might take a little time.
I want everything instantly but the process has help give me coping skills to identify that time heals all things along with putting in the work. I hope this helps someone and if you're feeling like nobody can help you STOP listening to the thoughts that have kept you a prisoner and try trusting a team of people who can help, and If you're like me "I've already tried that and it didn't work" well that's where I got stuck for nearly 13 years now. Believing the first set of Doctors who either gave up on me because they didn't know enough or the ones who tell you that this is just simply who you are.
Those are all excuses that let them off the hook and leave you lower than you started. If you build enough walls to protect yourself which seems logical because "hey, nobody gets me" then you'll find yourself built into a mental prison. It's not hard to do especially after you've seen hundreds of doctors and failed treatment plans slip through your fingers while you gave it all you had.
Understanding why your stuck is so critical because once you do you'll be given the knowledge and treatment that will help knock down those walls. Nobody is too damaged to be helped but you have to truly want it. Most importantly you have to trust your medical team and don't rush the process because it is a journey. Press into it and you'll see improvements with everyday you fight for change.
Don't give up and give into the pride, ask for help, trust your team, and take things a moment, day, or week at a time. For me it's been moment to moment but I'm seeing the day to day now. Will it take forever? Depends on what you put into it. Is it at times uncomfortable? Anything that we perceive as change usually is but also leads to freedom. Stephanie Smith and Kelly Tingler have established a level of trust with me in weeks that normally takes years. Are you questioning if you should go? Don't.just go and find your peace!

Dr. Milbrandt and his treatment/therapy have helped me SO much ( and in such a short amount of time )! He is by far one of the most compassionate, caring, and down to Earth doctors I have EVER had! He takes the time to listen and check in with how you are TRULY feeling and you can really tell he wants to help and see a difference in your well being each time he see you. Faithfully Guided is such a gem to finally have here in North Central Florida. And, I should mention the fresh, all natural, non-processed goodies that are being baked all the time here that make this place smell SO DANG GOOD!

The FGHC family is a blessing to this community. Everyone from the counselors, to the doctors, to the office staff. Their care, compassion, and consideration is setting a standard that is unmatched in the health industry. They have a heart to see brokenness healed and healthy. I can't believe that this exists in Ocala.

I don't think words could ever put forth what Faithfully Guided has done for me. From their vision to their Core Values, everything they outline is nothing but the truth. The staff you will encounter truly invest their time in finding the right path of treatment needed for your journey. I can promise that you will not feel like a number or even a patient, they are invested in knowing you as a person and friend. Kelly and Ashley's health approach are phenomenal and they are truly blessed with an abundance of knowledge for the treatment needed. Jamie is just so amazing and is gifted in the hands of healing from the inside out. David was phenomenal even just sitting down with him once, he just understood and was very helpful. Theo who is their Massage Therapist is Heaven sent.
He takes his time to hear your needs and works accordingly. I have always walked out feeling so refreshed. Celia and Mary who are yoga instructors were born to lead the mind and body healing classes. They each take their time to answer any questions and ensure your progress is being built over time. They never make you feel out of place even as a beginner.
They are so sweet and I love every moment of class. Alex is a well trained professional who develops the fitness plan by individual not a one size fits all plan. Overall each one you can truly tell are there to change one life at a time. Now the ones who makes it happen Meagan and Leighton who are such blessings. They work hard to get you in when you need it and makes sure everything is sqaured away.
They go beyond to ensure all your questions and concerns are taken care of. Faithfully Guided is worth the investment to the one who seeks true healing and because of them I am living life in such a healthy and happier approach. You will not go wrong choosing Faithfully Guided as your place of healing.

Ashlee Seek is AMAZING along with the staff. She not only spends a lot of time with me but believes in preventative care. They heal from the inside out. She is extremely thorough doesn't push medications. Im finally feeling "normal" again (lots of changes in hormones). Give her a try you won't regret it!
