My husband saw Dr Gao. 2nd time. We requested another Dr but we're told it's near impossible within the practice so back we went. She is the MOST rude, Abrupt Dr we have EVER encountered. She flew into exam room, no introduction, "why u here " so we started to tell her and she got up, pressed my husband's stomach and said "you hurt".no he didn't but he has been having chronic diarreah and losing a LOT of weight.
He already had all the Scopes you can get.she would have know that had she taken the time to actually look at his records. She said NOT DIGESTIVE.ITS SYSTEMIC. So we asked can you explain that.we knew what it meant, but why did she think so. Short sharp response then "I order abdominal CT" and we were about to ask a question and she got up and left w a LOUD SLAM of the door.
We looked at each other and said "is that it". Nurse came in said you can go. Tests revealed nothing and get note was to have him come back for upper GI. NFW! We will never see her again and he already had upper GI. Why would be go back. Staff were very nice but she needs a lesson in compassion and bedside manner.

2022 Update Problem not resolved, in addition there is a failure to coordinalt Rx and treatment options with my Primary MD.: I can't get anyone to return my calls or answer my messages on their portal. There is a failure to communicate. On 3 different occasions I called about questions about my treatment plan and my appointments and never got a call.

I will NEVER return. Todd is an arrogant, condescending jerk. He does not listen to my concerns, anesthesia after recent open heart surgery, kidney cancer, etc. They sell the cleansing solution for $100. That's odd. If you ever cancel an appointment you pay dearly to see a doctor again. The front office staff are very busy with themselves not patients. It's a hot mess. I would give no stars however it won't allow me to post. PHFT!

Absolutely horrifying. First, the good. The nurses and staff were all friendly and professional. BUT, it was recommended to me that I needed a colonoscopy. So, we scheduled it and a week later I came for the procedure. NEVER ONCE did Dr. Mota nor any of the staff let me know that this would NOT be done with an anesthesiologist yet they put you in a 'twilight sleep.' I would have NEVER agreed to this without being put out. Instead, I was wide awake and felt everything.
I could hear the doctor and nurse talking the entire time. I kept crying out in pain and they didn't stop. Talk about a torture mill. When they did the follow-up call I told her about what happened and she said, oh, sometimes that happens when people have a high thresh hold for pain. I told her I would never be coming back ever. The Director called me 5 minutes later and to say she was condescending would be an understatement.
I put her on speaker so my husband could hear what she was saying and he just shook his head. The moral of the story, NEVER go there and always insist on being put under by an anesthesiologist.

Another failed appointment with dr. Konda! This women does not know how to treat or talk to a patient. Today's visit, which I had to drive an hour to, I was told she wouldn't do the procedure I was there for, and her staff should have told her I was coming. I was told "go to mayo or someplace " I can't help you, go find a gastrologist. I gave her another chance as my prior visit all she did was yell at me and told me to leave and just go to the hospital! I wouldn't recommend this women if your looking for a doctor who listens or for that matter cares about helping you.

These people are great. Around 3 years ago, I developed many digestive problems and referred to them and Dr. Somerset visited me. It was very interesting that he started to talk to me and asked about my lifestyle and realized I have a crazy life, full-time work, study, family, and more. Then to my ultimate surprise, he told me that it is very easy for him to put an endoscope inside my stomach and make some money. However, funnily he told me that he would give me two months to save myself from him.
He told me that why I do all of these, and I need to make a work-life balance. I went, did it, and all my digestive problems went away. Who does that? I never forget this doctor and his advice in all aspects of my life. He is a human and a real doctor and I appreciate it!
