Dr Galivan was amazing with my Mary Hennessy. He took time to get to know her and her knee pain in conjunction with her other condition Parkinson's depression and history of brain surgeries. He explained that he can solve the pain but she needed to commit to the rehab. He examined her leg thoroughly. He made it easy for her to make an informed decision. I know he is a great surgeon but she needed to make her own decision and realize the commitment to rehab. He has a gentle and decent way about him.

Dr. Gallivan, as always, was gracious and a consummate professional at my 15 month post surgery appointment. I have no pain in my knee after a total replacement. I have full extension but limited flexion due to the COVID shutdown of physical therapy 5-6 weeks after my surgery. I was left to my own devices right when I most needed PT support. That being said, Dr. Gallivan uses the state of the art Mako Robotic-Assisted Knee Replacement System that generates the best surgical results. I heartily recommend Dr. Gallivan to anyone who may be facing a knee or replacement surgery.

First visit found the exam much more thorough than another doctor I saw 6 months ago. X-ray tech was great along with all the other staff. Dr. Gallivan presented all options regarding my knee(s) and left the decision up to me without any persuasive remarks for surgery. He repeatedly asked if I had any more questions and patiently gave informative answers. This certainly did NOT feel like a rushed exam! Thank you.
