By age 80, more than half of all Americans either have a cataract or have had cataract surgery. Double vision or multiple images in one eye (this symptom may clear as the cataract gets larger).
The treatment of cataracts has dramatically improved in recent years. Cataract surgery can have multiple benefits including sharper visual acuity, better night vision, less glare, and better color vision. Let us safely remove your cataracts to see more clearly. I had lasik done here and I am more than thankful for the results. The staff was friendly and helpful and Dr. Margolis did an excellent job on my eyes. I had stigmatisms and poor eye sight. Now I have 20/15. Thank you. About a year or so later update. Still 20/15 vision no issues and I feel like I forgot to mention some other effects I have from this.

They are pretty much neutral but still noteworthy. My eyes do not get as dry as when I had glasses and I feel like I have lost some sensation in them (good in my opinion), like strong wind or too much sunlight doesn't bother me anymore. Overall one of the best purchases in my life.

The folks are some of the rudest individuals I have ever encountered. I believe her name was Laura and she doesn't belong anywhere in customer service. Everyone else there was okay. If I could give less stars I would.

The waiting room is small for the number of patients that is seen. No one greets you at the front desk and you an hear their conversations.

This business does not require masks unless you are not vaccinated which they have no way of knowing because the employees do not ask to see vaccination card upon entering. The waiting room is always packed to capacity and everyone is sneezing and coughing and touching everything.

This is the best clinic I have ever been to, they were extremely nice and accommodating even though I wasn't. The first time I went my appointment was scheduled incorrectly on accident and Autumn got me in rapidly and adjusted everything for me very quickly, she explained how the entire process would work and was able to provide me with everything I needed to calm my nerves.

Then I met with the doctor who again let me know what to expect and got me from my first appointment into surgery within a week during Christmas break! I had to take a lot of anxiety medication because I couldn't keep my eyes open or let anyone touch them. I generally don't ever take this medicine unless it's to sleep and I took a lot before the appointment.

Before the surgery this medicine apparently gave me no filter with a really rude attitude, the staff was so nice through this process and understood what was going on to help me get the surgery and feel comfortable despite what was coming out of my mouth! The surgery went fantastic! I was able to see the very next day with no pain at all during the whole process.

It's been a little over two weeks and I can finally see! The staff and doctor were super nice after both of my follow ups and have been nothing but helpful and amazing! I'm very thankful to each one of them and their kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this clinic as it was recommended to me.

Terrible. They neglected to tell me that they DO NOT accept vision insurance, only medical. Even though not only did we call and they didn't say anything about not accepting vision insurance, we went to the appointment and gave the ladies my insurance card and once again nothing was said and then when we left the appointment we stopped at the front and they didn't ask us for anything they told us we were good to go. I was never told they didn't accept vision and I was never told to pay anything and now I'm getting bills in the mail.

I cannot say enough about how pleased and happy I was with my outcome. I had my first cateract removed Monday. I honestly cannot remember ever being able to see so well. The staff was excellent and caring. I can't wait to get my second cateract removed.

Waited 6 weeks to see Dr Stank, the day before my appointment I expected to get a call to confirm but didn't so decided to call. They had changed my appointment From October 31 to January 9th without contacting me. They 1st said someone had called and changed the appointment. When asked who had called they changed the story to being overbooked. The day I was to go I got a card in the mail saying the dr was going to be out that day.

Which of the 3 stories where the truth or maybe none of them. Elite eye care of Paragould who had made the appointment was able to get me in at vision Care on the 31st when I had already took off work and will have the cataract Surgery in November well before I would see Dr Stank. I will not be going back to southern eye. The Doctors and staff at Vision Care are wonderful. They will have my business from now on.

Dr. Margolis was very knowledgeable about my diseases, however, on pre-surgery evaluation his staff was very rude. I was spoken to like a child, as were several other patients. They did not acknowledge concerns or problems. After filling out the 45 minutes of paperwork for pre-existing conditions, they called before surgery to ask the same questions again. Are they unable to read?

The day of the surgery I had a reaction to the anesthesia and vomited for four hours before i called and they phoned a prescription in. I continued to vomit. When I returned the next day for my post-opt check, my niece and I told them I was still vomiting. They replied that I had prescriptions for pain and nausea in my Ziploc of drops. We both told them there were none.

We still never received any that day. I left still vomiting. I was also told my regular optometrist would be in charge of all post-operative care. He wasn't the surgeon, so i have to pay him in addition. I called today needing more drops, only to be told i had prescriptions in my bag and be called a liar by the nurse in charge. This is not a professional staff's reaction.

I am not a person dependant on drugs. I am a college educated person who is 63. I do not have dementia or Alzheimer. I only told the truth that they had not given prescriptions. I would not recommend this facility for competent eye care from the staff.
