I'm am 42 years old. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 13 and have been on several medications over the years. 3 years ago I wanted to get off my medications and see if I could use meditation and exercise to help me stay focused. I was successful for a while. Until recently taking a new job that is very demanding. I'm losing control of my thoughts and focus and my anxiety is through the roof.

So I reached out to mind path to see about getting back on my meds during this difficult time. Wich for me was very hard because I have a hard time asking for help. The psychiatrist I spoke to basically told me that I'm old too old to be on the medications I've been on pretty much my whole life. She offered no help. I basically threw away my money talking to mind path.

I feel like the psychiatrist had already made up her mind about me before she even met me. And the attitude she had did not make me feel comfortable. It truly sucks because I was genuinely looking for help. Maybe it'll be different for you guys but for me they weren't helpful at all. I'm so lost.

BEWARE! I would give them negative stars if I could. It is a joke that they offer medical care. There is a reason they have changed their name 3 times. Everyone who answers the phone is extremely rude. The doctors will push medicine to you that you don't need. There needs to be some way of shutting this operation down. They are dangerous and careless, do not use them for any reason. Example: I called them a week ago telling them I'm running out of a medication.

They said they would prescribe the meds. 5 days later I called them again telling them I only had 2 days left of the medication, which is a controlled substance that you can't just stop taking suddenly. They said they couldn't prescribe it until I meet with my doctor. Their records were wrong and said I hadn't met with her since January, even though I met with her in March.

They said the only appointment they had was 3 weeks from now. So what do I do for 3 weeks? They said go to your primary care doctor or urgent care. WTF. Also, I didn't even want or need this medication, and was pressured into taking it by the doctor. She said it was easy to get off of but after researching more and speaking to others and also trying to get off of it myself, I discovered it is actually incredibly to get off of. They will prescribe you anything, and then they won't follow up with you and will leave you hanging. They need to be shut down.

I would give negative stars if I could. There's a reason this place has changed their name 3 times in the years I've been with them! Be careful and make sure they properly bill your insurance! I finally found a psychiatrist I like (Dr. Kearney). Their billing dept. billed the wrong insurance. I called them and my insurance company for MONTHS trying to get it adjusted.

No one wants to pay $400 for a 15 min video call especially when they have good insurance. My insurance company just needed them to submit the claim for reprocessing. They stalled and kept giving me the run around until the time ran out. Insurance couldn't even see where they submitted the claim in the first place which makes me think they didn't.

My insurance said okay just pay it and we'll reimburse you. I immediately go to pay after my insurance company, their billing rep, and myself get off a conference call. Guess what? THEY SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS! Would have been nice for her to mention this on the phone 5 mins prior. Had they dealt with this issue when I first contacted them it would have been fixed. The mental healthcare system is hard enough to navigate let alone with this bs.

I visited this clinic back when it was called community psychiatry, i was seeking ADHD testing, and the communication was horrible and dehumanizing. I chose Dr. Mathur, but at no point during intake was I relayed that she could not diagnose for ADHD. I entered the session attempting to be receptive to her feedback and share my experiences, and was hoping to schedule for a test. Instead, she diagnosed me with bipolar based on experiences not symptomatic of mania, nor holistically saw me as a whole person.

She then proceeded to prescribe me a parade of medications that she described i had to, "fail, " before allowing me to meet with the adhd specialist. At this point i was confused, but took the medications that gave me odd side effects and continued to disrupt my life. On top of this communication continued to be harmful, grueling, humiliating, and frustrating.

I finally saw the ADHD specialist, was diagnosed, and ran away, and was able to fill my medication through my PCP. the front office staff were a saving grace, and seemed validating, as well as my overall experience with the ADHD psychiatrist once I finally saw him (I cant recall his name) Like most other reviews, avoid this place entirely.

I strongly recommend Mindpath Health in Del Mar. I needed to go 5 days a week for 30 days of treatment, overseen by Dr. Scott Cologne. All of the staff from the front office people to the technicians who implemented the treatment plan were highly skilled, organized and supportive.

As a medical professional myself, I rarely leave negative reviews under healthcare services because I know the struggle of having to juggle insurance, patient needs, scheduling, etc. I have waited for almost a month for a PA on a medication that I needed to take. That amount of time is unheard of. My insurance cannot authorize it because my doctor has not answered their questions.

As I am writing this review, he still has not responded to their request. Maybe there is a miscommunication issue? At least I hope that it is. I have developed an eating disorder at the time of writing this because of this problem and my original condition is going untreated. The inaction of this organization in treating their patients will make them liable for such negligence. If it is not a patient who develops an eating disorder then it will be a patient who commits suicide.

I was less than unimpressed with this place per my first visit/experience/interaction with Nurse Practitioner Marci Bastien. The appointment was set up for an hour's time. She spent an hour going over my medical history/family & relationship history & completely dismissed the overall focal point of what my appointment was set up for in the first place.

The issues I was suffering from in the past were no longer relevant issues. Despite that, she kept wanting to incorporate that into conversation or focus on those things. We spoke at the tail end about medication history which I gave her a full overview of. The medication history was pertaining to issues I was having years ago that were no longer (again) an issue for me presently.

Some of which, I expressed had extremely bad side effects for me. Despite my explaining that to her & despite my explaining that the reason I was taking those things was for issues long ago that were no longer a relevant issue for me, she wanted to explore more in depth about that (though there was nothing more about that to discuss & had already explained everything regarding that) & then to add insult to injury, her only advice/suggestion was to prescribe me the VERY SAME medication(s) that I expressed had terrible side effects for me & had nothing to do with anything as to why I had made the appointment in the first place.

If you decide to set an appointment with this place, I would definitely not go to her. It was a complete waste of time & money imo as I didn't feel she was actively listening to anything I explained &/or expressed to her. I read other reviews & can't deny agreeing with what they expressed of her already in terms of bad experience. I totally empathize. Hope this review can be of help/use with somebody struggling on account of mental health issues & contemplating an appointment with her.

So far, this company is not nurturing a sense of confidence at all. There has been zero communication outside of online forms. no phone calls, no discussion of how we can transition a fragile teen from group to their program. No human contact at all. Finally got an appointment which was NOT communicated to me, only to my childs current therapy office.

This is what we started with, then on to the next experience: They sent three electronic reminders for an appointment today at 9am, two text and one email. My child sat in a zoom waiting room for over an hour. I finally called the 800 number (as I have zero contact info for a case handler) and was informed they have him scheduled in two days, not today.

I re-read all the electronic communications and it says TODAY at 9am. The person on the phone said, yes we know our system made mistakes with appointment confirmations and reminders. Ok, so then why haven't they called everyone scheduled to make sure we had correct information? Instead, they just leave us with no communication. Missing school and work for what?

This is not the sort of disorganization we are expecting from a mental health provider organization. For starters I already have a child who is exceptionally anxious and stressed about leaving his current IOP and start Mindpath. We need something we can count on and a company that has their clients as their priority. If they aren't then why are we going there? This is perhaps the WORST first and second impression company could possibly put out. I have no faith in this company so far.

DO NOT SEE DR. KORELOVA. She will question everything you say and make you doubt your emotions/what you're going through. I honestly believed her and hated myself more after our sessions and became suicidal. Like other reviews said, the doctors here gaslight you and make you feel like you're worthless. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/LIFE and find a good psychiatrist who is actually kind and trusts you.

Throughout our sessions, I thought I was in the wrong with my emotions but after seeing my therapist and other psychiatrists, I realized she's the issue and my mental health has gotten substantially better since I stopped seeing her.

I just got out of the hospital. It's urgent I get an appointment. Had one set up for 8:00 am today. The Dr never showed up. I started calling you at 7:45 and finally reached someone at 9:05. She moved my appointment to 10:00. So far no Dr has shown up and again no one is answering the phones at 10:00! It's stuff like this that makes one suicidal. This appointment was urgent for me.

Check the credentials of the provider before you establish care. I wish I would have done that. The office called the provider a doctor but she is actually a nurse practitioner prescribing medication.

I have been seeing Marci Bastien for almost a year now. She is extremely knowledgeable and has assisted me in so many ways after years of trying different psychiatric care. She makes you feel heard and so at ease. I highly recommend requesting her. She's truly a blessing.

If you enjoy being left in the dark on your care, rude receptionists, and having to call daily because they never get back to you you should check this place out. They've gone as far as to cancel my appointments without telling me. This place is truly a nightmare and honestly a scam.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. They do not call in or fill your prescriptions. I am epileptic and if I don't have my medications I am prone to seizures. My doctor knows this yet prescriptions don't get filled after appointments and when I call to try to reach someone at the office they either do not pick up/respond or they say they will call in the medication and don't. Save yourself the money, time and stress and go somewhere else.

SAVE YOURSELF AND RUN FAR AWAY lmao dealing with this group made my mental health plummet to depths far worse than when i entered. please dont make the same mistake i did! im almost positive this entire company is a scam. if you've ever seen "i care a lot" on netflix, it feels like a very similar situation-- taking advantage of ppl and making a business from it. i wont tell my story bc its the same shit as everyone else's with billing and straight up just AWFUL "care" from Preeti Mathur. they deserve 0 stars. UPDATE: The business owner responded below, but I have detailed phone records showing I called them every single day (sometimes multiple times a day) and I have never ONCE received a call back or talked to someone. (Since December 2020, but this has been an ongoing problem since March 2020)

I had one appointment with April L'Heureux and that was more than enough for me. She was late to the initial meeting, did not apologize, talked down to me in a condescending tone, made me repeat what I had to say, continued to look at the time as if she didn't want to be there, and ended the appointment early. I actually was in a better mental state before the appointment instead of after. You're literally better off speaking to anyone else than this woman.

Dr Massion, you are a Godsend, a saving grace. But the new management that this clinic is under, is unacceptable. I have never been met with such disrespect while in the dynamic of a customer to business interaction. It makes me so sad to say this, but I can never go to this clinic again. They've wasted so much of my time, just while I was trying to get to see you again.

And I don't seem to be the only one. Dr Massion, thank you for everything. You are amazing. But please please please try to find a position at another clinic. You are too good to be associated with this clinc. Thank you again Dr Massion, I hope that one day you will be somewhere else so that your patients can connect with you again. You provide life to people who need help, including myself. Please don't let that go to waste.
