Dr. Hicks is passionate about translating knowledge from psychology, neuroscience, and medicine into practical and supportive strategies for health, fulfillment, and personal success.

Dr. DiMeo is a North Carolina licensed psychologist who sees individual adults. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety, relationship issues and life/career transitions. Insurance: Blue Cross Blue Shield commercial (including BCBS HMO policies) and State Health Plan.
This policy replaces all prior missed appointment policies. This fee is not covered by your insurance company. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Dr. Ah-Tye loves working with children, adolescents, and their families. She uses developmental and bio/psycho/social frameworks to evaluate and treat a wide range of problems, including adjustment, mood, anxiety, attention, and learning difficulties.
There will be a charge for any missed appointment or any appointment canceled less than 24 hours or 1 business day in advance. Weekends and holidays do not count toward the 1 business day requirement. The fees for missed appointments/late cancellations vary by provider and situation, except in the case of psychiatry appointments, for which missed appointments/late cancellations incur a set fee of $75 for a 20-30 minute appointment or $100 for a 45-60 minute appointment.Missed appointment/late cancellation fees are not insurance reimbursable.
