If I could leave a review without stars, I absolutely would. This place of business came highly recommended as they specialist in working with children who have autism. DR.Rousta was very unprofessional and clearly chose the wrong line of work, she repeatedly stated the the child in question could not be helped due to his autism as if its terminal disease. Do not take your children here what so ever.

As much as I like the doctors, I am very disappointed in their customer service. The doctors do not release their schedules for appointments more than 2 months out making it a nightmare for scheduling. Most doctor offices have scheduling 6 months out. When you try to call in scheduling an appointment, no one ever answers the phone and you have to wait and hope someone responds to your message request. Continued poor customers service will lead to loosing your clients!

Dr. Rousta is very kind and thorough. The techs are equally nice. But. the scheduling is very poor! I waited for 3 hours the other day for an appointment i made 2 months in advance. Our appointment was scheduled at the office staff's lunch hour - not sure if that contributed but 3 HOURS with an 8 year old! I hope they realize that the practice is for children who naturally have low attention spans. As much as I love the care the doctor provides, I'm now venturing out to look for alternatives.

Have not had the best experience if I have to be honest. Was coming here myself as a child years ago and then for my son for the past 4 years. One doctor made an error with his rx at a follow up. Dr. Engel was always excellent though. The front desk staff was not friendly or kind. For the past 6 months I have been trying to get a follow up appointment and my calls/messages are not returned. At this point, I will likely have to start over elsewhere with my children, and it's very disappointing. Do better.

The staff were very courteous and polite, helping us get in and out as quickly as possible, and the office is clean and tidy. And I cannot say enough about Dr. Rana - she is, as always, great with my son! Very kind and sweet, and always puts him at ease; and always provides thorough explanations of of his current sight condition for me as well.

My son loves coming to this office. He hates getting his eye drops. However, with the way they approach him, he does not put up a fight. He loves the little dogs and giraffes that walk and bark. It's the one of the things he always gets excited to see. The staff is friendly and Dr. Rana is kind and very patient. I never felt rushed.

My experience at University Children's Eye Center was excellent. The office is professional, friendly and warm for the kiddos and has excellent customer service. Their COVID protocol was impressive, I felt safe having my 3 year old visit. They have provided thorough explanations, resources and guidance for us. I would 100% recommend.

I have been bringing my three children to Dr. Rana for a few years now. I absolutely LOVE her! She's amazing with children and makes us feel so comfortable. My middle son wears glasses so we have been seeing her more often. I would never go anywhere else. I can't thank her enough!

3 year old daughter has a bit of a lazy eye. We take her to Doctor Sun, who prescribes her atropine drops, never explaining what the possible side effects are. Our daughter develops swelling, flush cheeks, tearing, irritation and complaining of a headache while rubbing her temple area; so my wife contacts the office. The receptionist tells my wife Doctor Sun is not in and will call her back.

That was on a Tuesday. Still receiving no call back by the following Monday, my wife calls and leaves a voicemail this time. Still no call back. I had to physically go to the office and knock on the door for someone to respond. They had me tell my wife to text message pictures to the contact phone for the office and the tech showed them to the other doctor.

Instead of calling and having a conversation with my wife, they continue to speak to her by text? While they stated it may have been a reaction to the drops, I would have expected a call back after the FIRST call to the office that voiced concern, let alone a second message. Not exactly the kind of doctor we were hoping for, especially when it comes to our children. Highly disappointed.
